Way too beautiful. The kit itself is a masterpiece. I love the original look but your customization capture the essence of "defeated, now back for revenge" perfectly. The sharp edges, the new weapon, the wings.. Vidar is in hunting mode and he's ready to show Barbatos who's the true demon. The video; spectacular. The cinematic effect and the background music make me believe I'm watching a movie. It's an emotional roller coaster ride, really. I love the kit you're using, I laugh about that gun drop and "pew pew" bit, when you reminded me how this gundam defeated by Barbatos, it hurts me a bit and for the finalé, the thrill of seeing this kit in that setting, with explosions and whatnot.. Thank you. You're the best, is what I'm trying to say.

Just built my first HG Gunpla last night. Gotta say I see what the excitement is about. Crazy to think when I was a kid I stayed away from stuff like this because I was afraid people would think I was a nerd. When you grow up you kind of just stop giving a shit lol. I’ve been missing out!

For me Gundam Vidar is the best HG 1/144 ever made (My opinion)
Showing this to someone and ask them what kit this is
They won't guess high grade Vidar
That's how you know a customization is an amazing one
Of course the end product needs to look good and this one fills that requirement very well

@@mikazukiaugus8422 I mean, yeah the shoulders gave it away, but I think the head is pretty well hidden to not notice the head, and I guess Vidar does have a shoulder design that is hard to mistake

This was the first Gundam kit I picked up (just built it the day of posting this in fact [same day I got it]). Being into hobby sculpting and tabletop wargames was a big help, since I already had a solid grasp on what was needed of me, but I'm also huge into kitbashing, scratch builds (including just full on sculptures), and customization, once my air-brush gets in, I'm going to be looking at doing some panel detail with plasticard and scribers, then painting it up all nice. Really looking forward to it! Thanks for helping me get into another cool, crafty hobby dude.

Don't know which is better, the quality of the Gunpla, or the production quality of the video.
I love kitbashing videos and these are some of the best! Ive always wanted to do this with Zoids and kit bash parts and weapon systems from gundam kits with them to give them a more grounded militaristic look

The ASW-G Gundam have a lot of lore behind them that is not even know yet. Both mysterious and cool. Asteroth is my current favorite due to how good the sword looks.

I watched this video and then a few hours later my 1/100 Vidar came early. My first kit. Hopefully I’ll learn to build at this level soon. Amazing video. Looks absolutely menacing.
I was initially afraid when you poured the mr surfacer 500 as a primer, i thought you were going for a rough finish. Good thing you remedied it in time.
what kind of surfacer should I use for beginners?
@@looniaz mr. hobby surfacer 1000 or 1200 are fine enough. i've also read good things about Zurc or Armored Komodo.
