Those look phenomenal - excellent work! You can cut yourself jigs, stencils, and stamps (using the date window for registration) to make painting & applying lume easier. Like a PCB solder mask, almost.
@PpaStrmpf the surface of the material after lasering has a perfect texture for paint, I realised there is no need for primer. The paint gets scratched on the edge of the dial because of wrong moves while polishing
@yohkodevilhunter8292 I tried only acrylics so far. It worked well first time, and I just keep using it😅 There might be some better alternatives though, but for now, it works just great
I would love to see a tutorial on the laser side of this build. Is that coming?
stunning dails i think they are awesome
@@ElderPinto254 thank you😊

Thank you! :)
Great job! Dials are looking beautiful! May I ask, what kind of laser machine do you use?
@@Teri-Workshop thanks! I have Mopa M7 50w
@@ShortBetter Thanks!
This is incredible. Well done! What kind of coating do you put on the bee at the last step of the video?
@jamesgates678 thanks! Just a clear glossy acrylic
Maybe use some oilers to do the lume.
Should use clear primer for brass before applying acrylic paints. That's why the paint chips away so easily from the dial rim.

@@ShortBetter Maybe use enamels or Lacquers. They are more robust and more durable than acrylics. Great work though!

I want one. I particularly liked the bee.
I had a look at your website. Did you do the work on the hands as well?
@notfound-zu3ft Yes, I make custom hands as well, but not as many
can these be purchased?
@jsimm435 Yes, I can also make your own design. Or we design it together. Mod4thai.com
Which laser device do you use?
@MrFFP-wc3ev I use Mopa M7 60w
