Thanks for the video. You need to keep the black with the Navitimer with the dial black. Did you consider black calfskin? It appears the Navitimer with the gold on the bezel only has the alligator strap. Do you know if it's as soft as the calfskin? Reason I ask is that I'm looking at purchasing a Navitimer and trying to decide on the strap. I have the Aviator 8 on the calfskin folding clasp.
Alligator is a lot stiffer than the calf. But for the gold I prefer the elegance of the alligator. It’s subtle but not nearly as soft as calf. Does that make sense? If you ask me, stainless steel models, go for calf, half gold and gold, to alligator. Both on deployant though.
I have a Black / White Dial Navitimer on a chain strap, and replaced the chain strap with the Rubber "Breitling" strap. It looks absolutely stunning! And Sporty.
Nice video and very informative thank you! If you don't mind me asking, the brown alligator with snap buckle you have. What model number is it on the back? It is very sharp I'd like to get that for my Breitling timepiece. Cheers!
Nice, useful video. I have the Navitimer with the blue dial and black subdials combined with a brown alligator strap witch I find nice. But maybe the blue strap would be more natural 🤔 Now I know how to order one, if I should be tempted. 🙂- thanks 🇩🇰
Hey I'm about to buy a white diver strap for my navitimer 41 mint green 2022, but i have no idea what size the strap should be. Lug info from the watch says 18-22mm, does that mean I could order anywhere in between that range? Or should it be one or the other?
You're absolutely right, that blue does not look good at all (sorry Freddy's wife!). Imo the best look is your watch with the brown alligator, not the black. This is because brown compliments the gold. Other than that I guess it's fair to say that the "new style" is "cheaper" than the old style. Also the old one says "made in Switzerland" and the new one not (made in China?🙂). I have an old black from 2007 and just went to the Breitling boutique here in Zurich to buy a brown one and yeah, the old one is a lot more "substancial", I was put off and didn't buy the new one.
Yay finally someone who agrees with me :D I think you might be right, they may be cutting some costs here and there. I'm thinking about buying an older style clasp just in case. Did you manage to buy a new strap somewhere else?
The blue strap is gorgeous
black alligator + navitimer = gorgeous !

Awesome, did you get a deployment clasp or buckle?
@@F4stFr3ddy Went with the simple polished buckle just to not have to worry about excessive scratches.
@@DewinVega Makes sense, they scratch quite easily. Enjoy the combo!

Thanks! It’s 740P, ACPR B7. Might be an older strap though.
Thank you for making this video! But... I am still not sure if you got two buckles for the price of one?
You get 2 straps, 2 buckles, 2 pouches and the tool for 650 euros.
Was the tang type buckle included or did you buy it seperetly. Thank you.
Was included
How did you get the deployment bucke on the ocean racer?
You can buy it from any Breitling AD or on the website

Hey, good question. It means that it tapers from 22mm at the watch to 18mm at the clasp. Hope that helps.
I like the blue strap. Your wife is correct.
