The composer, Kegani, who was known as Ke (毛) back to the day he and his good old band Kairo was in doujin music scene, wrote this song with inspiration from the original Tsukihime, about more than 10 years ago. As a Kairo fan, I'm glad Ke now is a success musician, working on the project that he's been a fan for years, and this song of him, one of my most favorite kairo song, now has a new life in tsukihime fandom. Comparing the new version sung by Reona, I still prefer this one sung by 556t. The emotion i felt from her performance just feel so right to the song.
wow, I encountered Reona's Lost cover and I was taken aback by how beautiful it was but I had no idea the song was over 10 years old and made with the original Tsukihime in mind. Thats simply amazing Ke's truly amazing to have created something like this.
I missed out on the original Tsukihime entirely. I heard Reona's version first and admittedly loved it, but I really prefer the original here. 556t's vocals are fantastic and so is the composition as a whole. I'm surprised that there's a large amount of differences in the piano parts. The original's lyrics are much better too so it's a shame they didn't reuse or remaster this track instead. Kegani, kairo member, the song writer of this song, was a fan of tsukihime for years, and now he had become the song writer for tsukihime remake, so he remade his old fan song to be a new official song he also wrote a lot of songs for FGO, if yyou check my channel, you could find song by circle Akashic Record with fgo thumbnail where i talked about it
@@2hu_muzik_w_pic I never knew one of their members went on to be a composer for type-moon. This was my first time hearing about this, i wish their vocalist also had more songs since i really like her voice. Also played tsukihime recently just because of this it was really good
