    Just a quick tip to make super crunchy Bhajjiyas is, first put salt, almost 2 TSP, on freshly cut onion and let it sit for 10 mins. Drain and squeeze excess onion juice and then proceed to add spices.

      @@beldengiyou’re not consuming all of it. Most of it dissolves in the liquid it draws out, which is discarded. Also you’re literally deep frying vegetables lmao, this isn’t a health recipe

    I just tryed this recipe! But I add one potatoe as well and some curry powder together with chilly powder as I didn’t have ginger and green chilly. It turn out delicious! Thank you

    I love this recipe. Easy to follow and delicious. I'm gonna make them again this evening the full amount but as there are only me and my husband for supper, will try the freezing method with any left overs - that is if ther are any ... thank you !!!

    For everyone who never heard of onion bhaji also known as Kanda bajhia, It's an Indian snack/starter! It's similar to onion rings but more spicy, pungent and more delicious! It's a famous evening snack usually eaten along with chai or tea! It's famous for being consumed in rainy season. What's better than chai and bhaji/pakoras on a rainy day!

    Oh my. I've never seen onions done like this. Bet I try them though. They look super delicious. I love fried shoestring onions on a hamburger. But these wee balls of deliciousness would take a burger over the top, especially with a homemade bbq sauce. Sorry shoestrings, you just won't cut it anymore after seeing this recipe.

      @@Kitchensanctuary Hi,I've discovered that by preparing the onion mix without the flours and bicarb mid morning,the onions go limp and are easier to shape into balls after adding flours etc at cooking time .We're hooked ,having these for tea again today !!

      However, budgies are quite delicious though. Ethiopian budgie pie is extraordinary. As is budgie tartare. And for the kids, budgie burgers. One bird....so many options.

    There more onion pakora, a proper bir onion bhaji has egg in it and sized exactly between a golf ball and tennis ball and done properly are delicious, your recipe does look nice though. Xx
