Hey Wendy, you really made my mouth water. The Onion Bhaji and Pakora are my favorite in the whole world especially the dip. When I use to live in Bahrain our cook use to make them everyday. I most certainly going to try and make them. Thanks for sharing.

This is so similar to the crunchy kanda bhajias made by "Your FoodLab". They use cornflour but my preference is the rice flour that you also use. Helps with the crunchiness.
Cynthia, this is the way my mum would prepare them and yes her secret was the rice flour which added to the crunchy texture of the Onion Bhajis. These were my favourite snack especially because of the crunch and the chutney 😋😋

Hi Wendy, can I store the prepped mix in the fridge overnight and fry the next day? Hosting a large party and looking to save time on food prep.
U you can but allow it to come to room temperature before putting the onion bhajis in the hot oil to fry.
