    Loved this video! I like when you said that you do things such as exercise, not because you love it, but because you know it is good for your body. That rings so true for me, such as not eating ultra processed foods most of the time because it is not good for my body/health and the need to hydrate more because is it good for me. I feel motivated by your statement and will think of it when I do not want to do something good for me or want to do something bad for me. Thank you! And yes, I would like more of this type of video. I enjoy "what I eat in a day" videos.

      freelee and harley durian rider both promote sugar (mostly through fruit and dates). Could be your hormones are out of whack and oure desperate for the sugar. Start with smoothies like 1 banana, cup of blueberries, cup of spinach. almond, coconut or soy milk it's yummyand healthy (it's what dr brooke goldner recommends but she does it with water and the milk is nicer and more filling). Then a big salad for lunch, add nuts or chia or flax seeds. then you will still be hungry. consider a plate with 6 papadams as your chips, arrange some different pickles, hummus, bab tomatoes, cucumber, carrot sticks, i like mother india's pickles becuase there hot, and the do have oil, so no if youre SOS free..I also do the zoe 30 plants. but i find gluten free, dairy free and of course meat free, you dont need to diet, as lng as oure putting the fruits and eg in, not worrying about the rest. x

    Hi ! I am new here! We live in Dallas Texas .
    I had watched your videos a few months ago but I found you again today and I’m trying to get back on track and on to a plant-based diet.
    I subscribed to you today and will I go back and watch some of your weight loss videos .
    I have over 100 pounds to lose and my husband has quite a bit to lose as well. I’ve enjoyed what you said in this video about your drinks and smoothies and some of the food you’ve talked about was really interesting so I’m definitely going to go back and watch a lot of your older videos and then of course watch your new ones as they come out as well!
    I really do appreciate you sharing your journey here because it is so wonderful to see somebody who’s succeeded at weight loss and what they did to get healthy and lose weight because that is what we both want. My husband just retired and that’s our goal now. We are early 60s. We have been Plantbased before but we’ve been off of it for a while.

    I really enjoyed this one. Well, after the first part anyway. But even that was informative. It’s what I wanted to know anyway. The what is it supposed to do for you part. I can tolerate a bit of nasty for good benefits. I’m doing my best to not stay in one place too long. I still haven’t found a yoga I can actually do. Haven’t given up yet. I don’t think most of these instructors are thinking of SLE & EDS in old folks. Moving and walking is my current goal. I’m trying to get into the habit of thinking meal prep. I bought a tofu press for my Pumfu. My garden is starting to yield a bit. Have my canning stuff ready for my pickles. My kale has aphids. Bummer. I need to do the big am little pm thing. Maybe then I could actually sleep at night. That date thing sounds awesome! Maybe a tad too awesome for me. As for the grifting, I see it more as you’ve found products you use cuz you like them and want to share with everybody. Sharing is usually good! Sorry bout the balls. Hubby ouched for you. He said he feels your pain. I asked him if he’d really like to feel it. Sweetly of course. He declines. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Love n hugs Jeremy! And our precious Woolie! 😎🫶🏼🤗

I use a glass bowl, same size, i dont like leaves spilling. i cut them with kitchen scissors and beetrot, and spring onion, sometimes too. that was great advice about thestir fry eating as many veg as you want..I also like the glass noodles, theyre low gi made from beans. will never try the lo cal konjac noodles again bahhhhh LOl. Your stir fry looks nice and could be a salad with the noodles.

    Great video as always Jeremy! I definitely vote for more videos like this, would love to see some of the other recipes you ate to lose weight but also how you modify them now that you're at maintenance? Or if you just have more treats and eat about the same thing? And I'm totally trying at least two things from this video, if not three. First, I'm going to try frontloading my calories. I'm in a bit of plateau/slowdown thing? Anyway, trying that. Feels wrong, but I'm trying it! And then I'm so trying this pecan turtle thing. I've done peanuts instead of pecans, but that was with a medjool date and I didn't think to microwave it (I used peanut butter too), so it's smart to try it with the deglet dates to make it a little smaller. Maybe I'll try it tonight if I have enough calories left! And I'm going to see if I can find those wide rice noodles and try the stir fry thing too. I need me a wok! (My biggest pot often overflows too lol)

    That was funny that you were trying to tell everyone about turtle candies. It's an American thing too. I have never saw a person who didn't know what turtle candy is.

    Thank you for this video. It's extremely informative. I have a quick question and was wondering if you could share your opinion on it (if you have one) - The Bryan Johnson Blueprint protocol. Have you checked out the nutrients he recommends for longevity, and if so. What do you think of it? Take care, and thank you in advance Xx

    • @pbwithjeremy
      @pbwithjeremy  8 місяців тому +1

      I've never heard of him or his protocol. I looked at it quickly and it seems like a LOT. Having just read through How Not To Age it doesn't feel like that many supplements are required when eating a balanced WFPB diet. What's his reasoning for having that many? Also feels like it would cost a fortune.

    • @jbidwell605
      @jbidwell605 8 місяців тому

      @@pbwithjeremy He's a retired billionaire who has spent millions on studying "reverse aging" and creating the best diet for human longevity - it's all inline with what Dr Greger recommends (WFPB, some in supplement form, e.g. garlic, turmeric, etc) but he designed it in such a way that maximizes the most nutrients with balanced calorie intake. He also relies on biometric feedback (he employs full time doctors). It does all sound crazy, but what he is doing is kind of fascinating. He posts the protocol for free online where you can make the recipes yourself at home. A lot of people in the US are trying it and have been pleased with it for increased energy. It's all plant based, so I was wondering if you'd ever experiment with it - just to get your feedback on it. I thought it would make an interesting episode.... but I understand if you're way too busy, of course!! xx

      @@pbwithjeremy I thought it'd be interesting for you to review - the plan is posted online for free. He's all the rage right now. I thought doing it may also draw new plant based people in to your channel!

    I had the best results doing OMAD, certainly was not Plant based.
    Not doing OMAD atm, as I am in maintenance mode.
    When I did OMAD ( just one way of eating - not a diet ) I lost 18 kgs / 39 lbs.
    When tracked which was rare - my intake comprised of 60% fat and 20% each from carbs and Protein.
    Neat paired with lifting weights - getting more sleep also helped.

    Trying to de-genderize that saying, how about Breakfast like Royalty, Lunch like an Aristocrat, Dinner like a Pauper? The lunch part is the hardest cuz there is no gender neutral sub for “prince” 🤪. By the way loved this video, I vote for more like this. Thank you.
