I pre-ordered this book and so far I’ve made 6 recipes from it - all great, especially the Lemon Pepper Alfredo. I really liked your idea of combining your granola recipe with Carleigh’s Common Ground Granola. I soaked the dates (from your recipe) in the coffee from her’s and added coffee grounds and cocoa powder. I did not add maple syrup at all. The resulting granola is absolutely delicious! Thanks for the idea! And for your granola recipe (which I’ve made many times). Love your channel! Thanks for everything you do!
Watching this a second time. Love Woolie. She always cracks me up. She was flying her teacher flag... “You are smart. You just made a boo boo. Everybody makes boo boos. Did you learn something? Yes? Now move on!!” 🤣
. . . exactlyyyy what I was gonna say....just luvvv Woolie's "teaching moments" in the kitchen. . . just luv, luv, luv her - and, of course, you, too, Jeremy - your humor just can't be matched - plus, your kids are just the greatest - such good sports about tasting everything..... God Bless You So Much...🥰🥰🥰
Greetings from Southern California. I appreciate you and your videos, due to health purposes I am trying to adopt a Plant based life style but I am not a good cook. You make it look easy! Thank you for reviewing this book. I think this is the one for me.
You're going to love it. NO ONE is a good cook when they first start out. It's something you get better at just by doing it. Keep it simple, make food you like, have fun. You'll learn along the way and it'll become second nature!
I have pre-ordered her cookbook a while back after seeing her interviewed I believe by Chef AJ. It’s being released on April 2, this is my birthday, so a gift to myself. Looking forward to receiving this book. I’m an newbie at WFPB, 18 weeks in. I found you early on and you have helped me a lot! Thank you for all you do!
I modified the hummus caesar by: adding 2 tbs of tahini (omitting maple syrup), using garlic powder instead of fresh garlic, using black olive brine instead of vinegar and adding cumin, sumac and a pinch of aleppo pepper. I had some homemade hummus in my fridge and got to work:) Love your channel!!
This is one of my favorite cookbooks! What’s funny is that I’ve never even tried the recipes you did. We love Raid the fridge noodle soup, lemon peel pesto, loaded tortilla bowls, broccoli and beef stir fry!
Another awesome review video Jeremy and fantastic changes to the recipe to adapt it to you and your family's tastes. Love 🥰 the video and love ❤ Jeremy & family.
I am camping in my RV in a rural area in Maine, and I do not have wifi, which I need in order to download a book to my Kindle. I will buy this book, based on your review, once I get to a campground that has wifi. I really enjoyed watching you try these recipes. I raised 3 boys - they are grown now - and I had to smile at the reactions of your teenagers. Thank goodness they grow up! But your kids remind me of my kids when they were teens.
I have pre-ordered Carleigh's book. I have her first one and the recipes are tasty and easy. After seeing your video and her interview with Rip Esselstyn and am sold that this would be a good addition to my cookbook collection. I have been cooking WFPB for years and have many cookbooks, yet I think this one has originality and creativity (along with great taste) that makes it worth getting.
I'm so glad to see this. I pre-ordered her book last month. She has some nice bonuses for those who preorder. I watched her recently on Rip Esselstyn's Plantstrong Pod Cast. She's going to be a presenter at Plant Stock. I really enjoy watching you cook through cookbooks and seeing your families reactions. I'm Marilyn from Louisiana.
Watching Annie's facial expressions when you were describing the ingredients in the "ground beef" for the burger wraps almost made me spit my water out haha. She has a very expressive face, especially when she doesn't like something. I love hearing all your reactions but hers can be especially amusing sometimes. :D It was also really cute when she was talking about not eating the pink pasta sauce if you were going out with someone you love due to the garlic.
I preordered it a while ago and almost forgot I did. I had to check and yes I preordered it. Thanks for the video. I’m excited now to try these recipes. The pink pasta looked delish! Yay! My digital copy releases tomorrow.
I took Woolie's advice(I think it was her idea) and topped each cookie with 3 mini vegan marshmallows. Very good! I only put in 1/8 teaspoon cayenne because my hubby does not like heat! They did turn out a little dry. The recipe says to use very wet nut butter, so next time I will add some plant milk to help the moisture content. Good flavor though! Thanks for the review! Nora From LaSalle County in Illinois!
Thank you for this video! I did not have intentions on purchasing this book (I do have her first and enjoy it), but after watching this, I’m definitely going to pre-order! Thank you! Looking forward to cooking yummy easy recipes!
Oh my goodness Wacky Cake!!! That was a school lunch staple for me and my absolute favorite! It always had hot pink frosting at school. Can’t wait to try that!
Hey Jeremy, I got this book so I watched this again! I have made the Brown Banana Muffins which are great! And I also made the Dilly Orzo soup, highly recommend! This video was even better with book in hand!
@@pbwithjeremy I did stick with the book, except with the muffins, I only had a 1/4 c of maple syrup and it called for 1/2 so I used applesauce. I don't think it made a difference, they were yummy muffins! But I totally did the soup the way the recipe reads, but doubled it! You guys should try it, it has pickles in it!!😃
I preordered the cookbook and can’t wait! I’ve been watching her for a few months and I’ve seen her on several interviews. She’s just so positive! And YES! I’d love to see how you improve on her granola. I was puzzled myself what fruit to add. I love coffee, chocolate and granola! Can’t wait to see what you do. Thanks for sharing this review.😘
I think I would just take the awesome ideas Carleigh put into this with the coffee grinds/cocoa powder and add it to my usual recipe that I've got on our website.

I will be ordering it again tonight. Take care, and thank you so much h for all you do. 💓 I shouldn't have been so critical.
Hi, guys. I'm new to this channel but I have been binging. And does his family actually not appreciate what he does. Or is it kind of like a joke skit with them? Because I'm kind of feeling bad for this guy. If anyone's a long time viewer, please let me know.

I always enjoy these videos that you and your family do for cookbooks. Another entertaining one. Unfortunately, I'm going to be a naysayer. First of all I really like Carleigh and since I too have been a lifetime never-waste-anything person, I truly respect her and all her efforts. Here is the but: I find the majority her recipes bland, boring and/or just not very good. I agree with you that her books would be good for new cooks or those not really at ease in the kitchen. I'm sorry I'm not a fan of her recipes though I definitely like her.
Appreciate your perspective. I find her stuff to be quite unique, the flavors have always been decent - but she strongly encourages people to make the meals their own. That said, if it's not for you I totally get it!
I really like all your videos but the only thing that makes them hard to watch is the ASMR Smooshy chewing sounds! 😂 It’s just so loud!. Grosses me out. Love your channel and all the recipes look delicious.

Thank YOU for your lovely recipes and an advanced copy of the book. Can't wait to chat with you on Tuesday!

The cheese recipes are great.
