How To Wire And Flash Port Injection Onto BMW!

Hey guys today i show you how i wired my port injection for my bmw 135i w/ N54. Very basic however you will need a laptop and cable adapter. You cold solder the wires or use butt connectors like i did. You will need a custom tune from a tuner.

I’m trying to flash my port that has already been previously flashed from the last owner. And I’m using the exact same cord and following the instructions that you are going by. and for some reason when I pull in the tune for it in r4, I cannot switch COM1 to COM5, the drop box doesn’t even work. Pretty confused right now and need some help lol. I’ve turned the ignition on and all to get a connection and just can’t figure out why I cannot switch COM and flash

Hey I found and now use these connectors that have built in Solder as well they are already shrink tubing all in one. They are great and all sizes. I bought them from a local shop in Canada Alberta called "Princess Auto" Which is very much like your Harbor Freight I hink. Maybe look into them. I don't recall the name now and I'm not home to look. Sorry.

do I need to flash the ecu thro the computer if I have mhd? or can i just wire it and the tuner can control it via the mhd custom tune etc etc?

You can download it from online or when you buy it. It should come with a CD with the software

So i followed the n54 wiring diagram online and my car seems to sound like a cammed 67 big block lol, what could i have done wrong?

Either wiring is not making good contact. Or the time you have on the AIC controller. The Port injection should not be activated at idle. Usually only under load

@@menjicar I fixed the problem, it seemed to be the 3 port max solenoid option on MHD conflicting with the box.
Now only having idle problems (wants to stall, bouncing from 500-700rpm) i believe it’s lpfp since it’s at 58 on idle
