So... @Dornhan17 _still_ hasn't responded to the notice that he's won the giveaway! He only has another 24 hours to respond! I'll update this pinned comment with a follow-up.
When you actually do win a prize and it's not a scam. 🤣
Oh oh, he will be bummered when switching on his phone again 😅
I'm still using a GTX 1050Ti🥲
I would have tested each part individually just for my own sanity but it would have taken more time which is understandable why you didn't do that
That's sucks, they might not be on UA-cam all the time
Me: About to leave to go see a movie.
Greg: Posts a new video.
Also me: I'm sure i can just miss the previews
Yooooo
🧐similarly here too going to do something new video posted.
As a tech support specialist. I envy you for not having to deal with the person right there or over the phone. Just you and the machine.
Yes, this. It's so frustrating to try to do IT/tech/hardware work with the client (or friend) hovering over you.
how many times you have to ask , is the system plugged in
lol
@@TheLateral18 worse yet is when they don't know what a wall plug is 🤨
This was brilliant troubleshooting. This reminds us all that removing a CPU and placing it back into the socket must be done delicately. Thank you all for the videos.
Thanks for watching!
I really enjoy this entire series. I've watched everyone so far, and always enjoy seeing all the unique builds
I looked up that pin on the Kably Lake pin diagram and it's a ground pin. So, the PC should still work without that pin. It's possible that that ground pin was touching an adjacent VCCIO pin. That would explain why the PC was refusing to boot.
kinda reminded me on how I revived a 7th gen intel mobo by asrock which was given to me since it doesnt work before. I just saw that it has some few bent pins that are not easily seen including a broken pin and proceeded to put them back with a tweezer. It eventually worked thereafter. right now it is being used for my sibling's pc which I modded to run an 8th gen intel cpu. good work, man.
Love the fact that you’re doing a series on troubleshooting computers. It’s nice to see different issues that are being fixed where I can store the solutions in by brain cells for reference… if I remember them haha
Create your own private personal playlist on UA-cam and save the most relevant ones to it. And you can save not just Greg's videos to it but any others you find.
Your videos are a breath of fresh air, they are entertaining and tutorial at the same time, no drama and most of the time you give back goodies to the comunity 😊
Hi Greg! love the fix or flop playlist but i especially love the micro center videos you made updating peoples old hardware. Keep up the great work!
One of the best series of PC troubleshooting videos. Love the presentation and all the info given. Keep it up champ.
Well, that's another great episode. Keep them coming, Greg. You're killing it.
Awesome work Greg, Fix or Flop is one of my favourite series to watch on any YT channel, so much variety. Learnt a lot from you that I thankfully haven't had to use yet!
Absolutely love your FoF videos Greg and love you even more. You have such calmness that just makes your videos even better, I've personally been here since the origin of most of your playlists and love all of them! :)
Thats amazing!!! i hope you keep this series going. Helping people that don't understand trouble shooting computers is amazing. Learn a ton about what to look for when trouble shooting computers and how to isolate each component to see if it is functioning.
This series is amazing tbh. I did not expect those kind of problems to happen. But you show us that these situations do happen and it helps us to know what to do if it does happen to us or to someone else. Keep up the great work!
As always, love watching your troubleshooting and diagnostic processes. Thanks Greg
Always cool watching these videos. Always fun learning different things to look for when troubleshooting.

Always like and enjoy this series Good stuff Greg :D
honestly love watching your vids i learn so much more plus helping others is awesome
Really love this series. I actually had to troubleshoot a no-post system two days ago, and I noticed my process had gotten way more focused and calm. Likely because I had this series in the back of my head. (sooooo many videos now 😅, and I have been here since the first 😊)
Love this series so much! Has helped look for easy mistakes that are made and how to fix any issues I likely caused myself 😅
That's so awesome 👌 I love seeing older hardware still being used :) solid rig and awesome content as always. Great diagnostic love the staple method ❤❤❤❤
These videos are so helpful and insightful, such a great series
Always love when a fix comes out well! Thanks for the video!
I love when the weirdest problems occur and happened to have the simplest solutions. I remember the first time that I attempted to do a maintenance cleaning to my own pc and wouldn't boot after, I couldn't afford a thechnician at the moment and didn't had any other components to troubleshoot and in the end the problem was that I forgot to reconect the CPU power cable. Its been a long way since then. Anyways.. thanks a lot for the effort that you put in every single one of the videos just to entertain some of us and help others. Saludos desde 🇲🇽 love ya Greg
Another fun and informative video. Your channel helped me figure out some troubleshooting steps that helped me fix an intermittent issue.

I learned so much from your channel that I started doing repairs and upgrades to donated computers and refurbish them for a local nonprofit that provides computers and internet for low income families, schools and other nonprofit organizations in the Brevard NC area. Thanks for the inspiration. Terry at Brevard Nerd Services

I must say that back plate on the gou looks so nice. Great video again Greg. I love watching your videos, the fix or flop especially. When watching i had a feeling it was the MOBO giving the issue but i didn't think it would be the socket.
This was brilliant troubleshooting! Thanks for another awesome Fix or Flop episode ! :)
love ur fix or flop videos, always learning from them
Great format, love the videos!
I remember installing my new CPU cooler. It did not post after installing the new cpu cooler. But, my habit of watching videos of you snap a thing on my head that I should reinsert the CMOS battery. Boom!!! It all works again.
Thanks for making these kinds of videos Greg!
You got a fan from brazil. Your videos are so pratical e straight to the point even to a comercial approach. Can't get enough.
I always learn something new from your videos, keep up the good work :)
Fix or flop is making me more confident when I need to do troubleshooting in my computer, wonderful work Greg 🔥🔥
I love your videos man! They motivate me to upkeep my PC
I love watching this series. It's really helpful for learning how to troubleshoot builds. Just recently helped my brother build a new PC and knowledge from these vids came in handy when we couldn't get it to post lol
So many times I've run into this same issue as I've repaired other computers. I used to think it was never the cpu or a bent pin....now that is one of the first places I look when a PC isn't booting. Enjoy your channel. Nice job!
Love these troubleshooting videos, always something different!
These videos are a lot of fun to watch. Nice work.
Great diagnostics on a bit of a flaky problem. Totally enjoying the videos Greg!
As a long time fan of this series and the go-to tech person in my immediate family and friends, I'm always fascinated with your patience when dealing with situations where you're not given all the facts about the systems, intentional or otherwise. Keep up the good work, Greg!
this series has honestly made me become more confident in troubleshooting and upgrading my pc. thank you for all the work you put in
Great eagle eye for that piece of hair or something on the socket there Greg. I used to work at a refurbishing pc company as a hardware technician and this was very common issue, when someone wanted to change the cpu or just to simly clean the leaked out paste by himself. This often occurs when you try to wipe the paste of the motherboard with dry cotton (have seen it) and a piece of cotton gets cought on the pins of the socket, might bend/break pin or just make a mess, like in your case. If you can't see that string you would wonder why it doesn't post but apparently it messes with the contacts. Great "cheap" fix. Keep doing what you do! You are great !
Great Job man, not always so easy to fix bent/broken pins
I love these videos. They give me more and more insight about how to troubleshoot
Love you’re Videos dude it’s like watching a quiz show but fun!

the way i following you troubleshooting give me more knowledge for troubleshooting, Thanks Greg xD
Love this series, I find amusement trying to fix pc problems, when a friend mentions they have pc problems I offer help right away. This series is a big help in diagnosing PCs.
With the poor shape of that pin I thought the MB is toast. You brought it back from the dead, good job!
When I see a FOF video, I gotta see it straight away! Never ever stop doing these, they are great!
Love the Vids GS, Keep up the great content...!
Dude I can't tell you how much I love watching the flip or flop videos. Ever since I watched my first one, I've been hooked. Keep it up!
This brings back memories of my first attempt at building my first home built PC .... I accidentally dropped the CPU plastic cover when I took it off and it bent several pins .... I used a sewing needle and a magnifying glass and got them back in shape and that PC is still running to this day.
i really have to say that your videos have taught me a lot i didn't know. thanks for that! ♥
Nice! I was able to save a board with a bent pin a while back as well. It's a great feeling to see it come back to life!
