I used the subtitles option, to great effect, especially with those unfamiliar drug names Big Pharma employs.
Thank you very much sir for detailed explanation. Appreciate your knowledge and presentation with good clarity. 🙏
Thank you for that very well-explained video. Having taken Tamsulosin since early this year, being so tired of self-catheratisation , I was so pleased with the immediate effectiveness. As time passed, I became unusually aware of bedtime, irregular, noisy, heart-beats and dizzyness when standing up. Last week, I suddenly blacked out in leaving my living room. My wife, hearing the bang, worried at being unable to bring me round, got our son round and I came to. Worst of all was the terrible all-over-body itching suffered at bedtime, preventing sleep, scratching causing weals.
After suspecting washing powder on bedclothes, etc, and other causes, I read that is another common side effect experienced by some (around 5%?) and I had to stop them, my GP discounting anti-itching drugs as being useless, best to treat the cause. He offered no alternative, so I have taken the alternative natural remedy many recommend. Now on Saw Palmetto, 300mg/day as yet, I am coping OK without those troublesome side effects. After my eventual prostatectomy (cancer present), I hope for no further medication needed.
Quiet simìpler to me. I will follow

@@EnlightenedPatriot1 I found the CC option after I made the comment. I was a little frustrated at the time. I'm a regular user of tamsulosin (morning and evening .4 mg). Thanks for the info.
Couldn’t understand a dam thing.

It's a helpful video for medical students or paramedics but for common man it's difficult to understand...word like priapsm..syncope ...BPH...corpus cavernosa etc etc ...
Do what thanks for viidio or lost
...and there goes another Tamsulosin-related car crash.
It has all the side effects you mentioned. But, it doesn't work!!!! I tried it for three years. Migh as well drink water. Now I have to have a TURP
You should check out other options first. I’m getting prostatic Artery Embolization (PAE). I haven’t had it yet, but doing this first!
@@hondaman6918 You're absolutely right. My brother just did that checking his options before jumping to notorious TURP. Look before you leap!
What a mess...all these side effects and drug interactions. As usual, any drug, including tamsulosin can cause as many problems as somewhat helping the symptoms it attempts to control and once again, like other drugs, it does not cure the underlying cause...very sad.
@@hondaman6918 when I declined the TURP and the PROSTECTOMY, I was finally offered Finasteride, which shrinks the prostate, and lowers PSA..seems to be working...they do push the surgery options..! Diet is important.
@Alfred Reithermann I read that if you get off it, the prostate will start growing again.
I’m having heart palpitations and increased heart rate. Been taking it for about 3 weeks and just started having them at the beginning of the week. Stopped taking it yesterday, hoping they’ll subside in a couple day.
Very informative. 🙏
Hurts when I urenat
Way to technical for me
How about using English to explain these side effects ?
