If you have focus gauge with the wand, you can block attacks as long as you hold the button down. You only start taking damage when you run out of focus gauge.
Like you vids, keep it up
One important note for the Wand Weapon Action is that the chain exposions (charge 2/3 of focus) keeps you invulnerable the entire time
I was trying to include this, but then I found out after it's fully charged it won't keep you invulnerable any more, so to not confuse people I just didn't mentioned it.
@@vacantvex382 I'm not talking about during the charge, though. I'm talking about during the explosions. It's useful for avoiding attacks with weird timing like Luther's time stop

What's the most dps efficient and the most fun weapon of the 3? I'd do all 3 but wanna know what should i spend time affixing first for a good start
I would said Double Saber or Dual Blades.
Personally it's Dual Blade for sure just cause it's cool...lol

Sry man, rotations really isn't a thing for me, I just always goes with what I feel right.
btw for "Overdrive" is it really for party or alliance? ingame description says alliance while the skill sim says party.
Never really test it out but I'll believe it's party, for the whole alliance seems too powerful imo

Tbh I wasn't really set on playing this class. I was way more interested in Phantom. But this simple exploration and me then reading how stupid the skill tree is made me reallt want to play the class now. Thanks for helping me out with learning what Etolie actually does. But now I need to make another crit ring set so that sucks.

@@Bellzamas Yeah I have checked it out, I'm super glad I only need a melee critical ring. My main issue now is trying to decide what weapon to use on my Etolie.
@@alexmo9299 I main wand and but I guess for my second I go DS cuz DB need a extra ring and I already use party ring or mag ring also I have a macro with critical strike and pp convertion for more pp and free heal

Bro i was doing the new expedition and a contest came up total damage something and the guy who had first got 11mil damage and he was Etoile his gear was insane
Doesnt really mention the most important part of the skill tree, that being "Same Arts PP Preservation" and "Tech Arts Count Bonus". Placing points 3 and 10 respectively allows you to use the actual dps combo you would want to do, situationally mind you. Doing a setup PA into spamming 3 of the same PAs leads to reduced PP consumption and increased potency. An example would be Radiant Sting into 3 Distortion Pierce then repeating fitting in normals as needed (normally 2 hits after Pierce).
I actually didn't find myself having empty PP gauge often so that's why I didn't talk about it separately.
Of course I will try to do different PAs but still, even when I don't, it doesn't feels like I'm running out of them so.
@@vacantvex382 hmm pa spamming will rip though ure PP, assuming full uptime, in about 3 or so rotations. So long as you are keeping you PP usage rolling, ie not returning to max, while making use of your skills/equipment ure doing well enough. Granted tho the game isnt exactly difficult enough to really feel the need to max min, no matter how much some people want to pretend it is.
I'll say that maybe it's because I'm not skilled enough to spam PAs only, so I often mix Pas with normal atk etc to adjust my position etc. Maybe.

How can I get infinite PP cuz I used 3 time power and gets empty again, I've seen a gameplay and realized it never got empty
You mean your PP empties after 3 PAs? What weapon do you use?
What mag setup are you useing?
Anything that are ATK related is fine to use.
@@vacantvex382 am going for a full melee support but was thinking could melee defence and melee support would work
According to the skill tree's Etoile Mag, it converts all ATK states into S-ATK, R-ATK, T-ATK 100%.
To me it feels like ET is already tank enough but lack of dmg so I would still recommend to go atk fully imo.
Just noticed most of the skills in the JP servers are actually english words. Guess I'll be able to survive the JP server then
Btw Etolie is apparently supposed to mean “Star”. But it’s pronounced “Et-Wall”
