Pso2 Classic comes out next month on playstation. I wanted to play this game for 10 years. I am so sad that Sega killed of pso2 and forces us to play new Genesis. I will still Start pso2 classic and hope we can have a little community...

No comments? Thats just not right....im late to the party but thank you for taking the time to make this. I did not start until after NGS launch, and i honestly cant think of a game i was more dissappointed with in the last 10 years as i was with NGS, and this is having never played Phantasy star and going in with 0 expectations. The only thing that saved my experience was discovering base pso2 and how its a totally different game. Unfortunately, this has only further lowered my expectations of NGS by over 100 fold. I agree with what youre saying, but having played both now, NGS seems to have only exasperated the issues that plague pso2, and removed all good things too. The story is 100x better in base, the interaction between players and enemies and options they have to interact is 100x better in base than NGS. They truly removed ALL forms of difficulty, class depth, weapon depth, combat diversity, they removed UQs and replaced them with just a trial, or a couple trials. And probably at least 20 or 30 other ways they screwed up, but would take too long to type.

Just noticed most of the skills in the JP servers are actually english words. Guess I'll be able to survive the JP server then

I think SEGA made the wrong move, they just kicked us in the ass just to fix their servers issues, while the other players who are able to play the game and having fun just telling us that "everything is just fine, don't act like a baby" while some people just lost their entire account and years of playing without any warning.

Is the pso2 ngs still with the IP block...?

after update they put ip block back then i quit pso2 forever until they remove ip block which i think they not gonna do it. which is the time to go back to the game i played before pso2.

Japanese people in Japan are having problems as well, so i wouldn't say its a Ip block, plus they never said anything about the situation. Also if that rule still applied, why would they let us play for 7 years? Anyway. Some UA-camrs said SEGA updated their internet intior or something like that. Apparently this happened with Pso2 in the past. So I think all we have to do is wait.

Main client performance issues are cpu related due to the two main threads: rendering (based on gen11) and physics simulation. The first will be "fixed" with the Gen12 conversion (and then Vulkan implementation), the second need more works.

Man I really felt that last clip. I run nuke eject Ronin now and then, and I always get into a situation like that. (Probably as punishment for playing nuke eject Ronin)

If your using quick cut I recommend using the step attack. For the step attack quick cut comes out in around 3 frames but for any other move it takes around 20. So if your trying to quickly close a gap with quick cut, step attack is the way to go.

Base flechette is literally the highest DPS PA and you mark it as rarely used? Oof.

Dont use enhanced art if u have no gear as it reduced ur dmg by half. Also try to spam more enhanced combo and maybe explain a little bit about style purge and quick shoot as those are core skill for luster.

I thought Flechette was the strongest PA of Luster? Most of the guides that I've read and people I've ask said that Flechette is the main PA to use to start or use as part of your rotation combos. So Brand Extension and Slug Scatter are the better PAs to use? Damn and I just switched my setup. I guess I'm going back to my original PA settings. 5:33 I know I'm invaluable, you could also call me priceless but the skill makes people invulnerable during the animation is what you wanted to say right?

Holding the spacebar after an attack will trigger Zanverse or Megiverse depending on your HP. HP greater than 75% will cast Zanverse. Lower than 75% will cast Megiverse. Haven't found many instances where Megiverse is actually helpful but the extra DPS from Zanverse is always welcome

I know I'm late to the party, but for Rose Schwert you say to cast quick cut to avoid its hit recovery and then in the video you do it real fast, but right now when I'm playing if I use quick cut it will automatically shift my next Rose Schwert so I can't spam it so fast. how do you do it like that?

Doesnt really mention the most important part of the skill tree, that being "Same Arts PP Preservation" and "Tech Arts Count Bonus". Placing points 3 and 10 respectively allows you to use the actual dps combo you would want to do, situationally mind you. Doing a setup PA into spamming 3 of the same PAs leads to reduced PP consumption and increased potency. An example would be Radiant Sting into 3 Distortion Pierce then repeating fitting in normals as needed (normally 2 hits after Pierce).
