@@ToxiczEditing correct, bleeds off boost when needed and dumps it out another exhaust pipe. Normally this is dumped back into the normal exhaust system. The advantage of this is getting them separated, allowing better flow and better boost control from a tuning aspect.
Awesome! I love the way the diffusers look! And it's the lifeproof mount. It's kinda expensive for what it is.. But its really nice, you can even get mounts for like a bicycle or anything really.
These videos do no justice with camera stabilizers and all that.....i legit see no difference but have experienced it before, next time i race I'll try it out tho
mario escobar no superchargers are belt driven so they will receive instant boost with throttle punch, turbochargers run off exhaust so you have to get the exhaust gasses moving quicker through the turbo to spin the turbine faster
You'd be surprised that even with a relatively small turbo you can definitely see the benefits of brake boosting. obviously the larger the turbo the larger the lag(usually) which makes brake boosting even more important.
This just fucks the entire car, Keyway { on the clutch } for manuals, can split brake lines, puts hotter gas into turbine { making less cold air due to the car laboring Lessing the power out put } just learn how to drive your car properly, find the sweet spot in you rpm range, it also put pressure on the strut top dampers, and give you piston knock if your engine is a little old, and thats just the start.
I've seen someone do this before and shit, it's amazing how fast they take off.
Your parking pass expires today
LAMO
+EuroVW Dubway hahah true 😂
@@rulleh You have a month and a half, beware.
you should do more videos seen your car around and it's so clean!
Thanks! I definitely will
Wow! Just realized this is over 110k views now!! Thank you everyone who has shared and watched this!
👁️Cool👌going to try this on my Fiesta ST
@@wnynj1213 the real question is do you have a burble tune in that
@@AndersonDrift ? Pops and Bangs (I'm a Noob) Yes
Lookin good bro!
Thanks!
its nice how you go in smaller channels and leave complements that says a lot about someone like you
T1GR3S13 Me and mike went to high school together! haha :) Nice guy regardless!
Boosted Beauties cool
Boosted Beauties that's awsome
is break boosting only for turbo cars? can you do it on a na car for example the is500 with a 5.0L v8
There's no boost to build up if it's N/A
Why does your turbo make that cool rattling sound when you’re in boost?
External wastegate dump
@@AndersonDrift is that the up pipe dump tube?
@@ToxiczEditing correct, bleeds off boost when needed and dumps it out another exhaust pipe. Normally this is dumped back into the normal exhaust system. The advantage of this is getting them separated, allowing better flow and better boost control from a tuning aspect.
Great vid man! I'm looking to buy a diffuser from you soon. Random question, what phone mount are you using? Haha
Awesome! I love the way the diffusers look! And it's the lifeproof mount. It's kinda expensive for what it is.. But its really nice, you can even get mounts for like a bicycle or anything really.
so the idea is to to use brake boosting as a way to build up boost (not rpm's necessarily) to be able to get a good rolling launch?
That's correct, it's to reduce the turbo lag.
Daily Ignition can you use the clutch to rev to desired rpm? Or it doesn’t work that way? Needs to be in gear to build boost?
@@CM-qn4io needs to be under load to build boost. revving will only get you so far. And also using the clutch youll shock your transmission
Thanks for the how to. I just blew up the transmission on my Ranger trying this :(
was it boosted ?
really good video thanks a lot bro cheers
at 0:10 i thought your shift stick was a wine bottle lmao
Hahaha
2016 called they want your parking pass back
Hahaha
Hard to hear
my car doesnt accelerate when the brake is pressed:(
What about a single cab 2018 f150 2.7 ecoboost twin turbos
you got hacked MADAFAKA! If it has turbos then you can do it
You still in potnets? We gotta link up if soo.

Is your car boost cutting?
+Nathaniel Pruett No it is not,
is this the samething as turbo lag?
I just realized Penn State hoodie and parking pass, I live near state college and I also work there
Sweet! I went to PSU Berks and PSU Harrisburg. Only went to state college for a few job fairs and football games.
I was at penn Harrisburg 2009 and 2010. Lived in middletown right off main st.
I thought you just supposed to clutch kick
this is good. u know ur stuff
+Daniel Collins Thanks!

Is it the same as a supercharger? Cus i searched up for sc and it threw me this vid
No, Breakboosting has no benefit with a supercharger
mario escobar no superchargers are belt driven so they will receive instant boost with throttle punch, turbochargers run off exhaust so you have to get the exhaust gasses moving quicker through the turbo to spin the turbine faster
+mario escobar supercharged applications don't have lag like a turbocharged engine, this is not necessary for supercharged vehicles.
superchargers make instant boost no reason to brake boost
Works
PSU represent!
Penn state
Dang this is not gta 5
You need a big high horse turbo to really be able to brake boost.
You'd be surprised that even with a relatively small turbo you can definitely see the benefits of brake boosting. obviously the larger the turbo the larger the lag(usually) which makes brake boosting even more important.
Yeah, I could barely see the difference in this video, then again I just looked at the tach
@@AndersonDrift I brake boost in my Peterbilt semi lmao
Or learn to drive and know ur power curve. No slower, spare ur engine
Miles Eston doing a pull from a rolling start doesn't allow you to build boost unless you brake boost.
The only way to have power instantly is with a S/C
Turbo surge😬😬
You're probably hearing the external wastegate flutter

Yeah Okay dude lmfao
You literally have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Slim Charles Of course it will put some stress on certain components, but unless you do this every day to get on boost you should be just fine..
+Slim Charles yes, as stated this isn't the best for your car. However you will build boost faster vs if you didn't do it.
