Also klaus and Bonnie’s mom are married in real life. Stefan and meridith were married. Stefan and Hayley dated in real life. Matt Donovan and caroline dated in real life. Caroline and Jeremy dated in real life. Matt and Vicki dated in real life. Klaus and Rebekah hooked up on real life. Nina and Daniel hooked up. Damon and Nina obviously dated in real life. Damon and Anna dated. Etc. Some of these sound weird but the cast have pretty much all dated in real life haha.
I think Klaus doesn’t want Elijah and Hayley to be together because, even though he doesn’t have strong romantic feelings for Hayley, he cares about her and has a certain attachment to her mostly bcuz she’s the mother of his child. He’s also concerned that if they get closer, Elijah might become more involved with Hayley and, more importantly, with his daughter. Klaus fears that Elijah could take on a more prominent role in his daughter life, which threatens his position as her father.
ehh klaus had no issues with them dating bc he had no attachment to haley at this point, even her being his childs mother he really didn't care for her life mostly using her as an incubator. he just didn't want elijah to father his child that was his only issue with them getting closer, he said it himself.
I understand Sophie's plan. The moment Monique dies, she is taught to believe that Monique will come back if Davina dies. You cannot blame her for wanting her dead. She just wants her niece back. On the other hand, you can see Marcel is not evil. He's just trying to keep balance in his own city even though, Klaus wants to take his place as king. He saved Davina and Davina is helping as a reward. When her own family disappointed her, Marcel became her father figure.
Yeah, I'm hoping that after coming around to seeing Marcel isn't a villain this episode, they'll start to remember why Klaus is seen as villainous- he's come back into this town (after doing villainy elsewhere) and threatened others and wants to accumulate what power Marcel has. It's not necessarily for the better of everyone that Marcel "give up his kingdom" to Klaus- just that if Klaus' ego is appeased he might not do more drastic things (but it would still be giving power/control to someone who overreacts the moment anyone challenges him- therefore not good for the people there).
You don't even know how important Marcel and Davina's relationship is in this series. mainly that Marcel will always care for her like a daughter, just like Klaus did for him.
Hayley and Elijah!!! ❤ That look between them is everything! I loved how Marcel saved Davina; it gives you a new perspective on Marcel. The witches seem like the bad guys here. I can't believe Agnes hexed Sean, Kieran's nephew and Cami's twin.
Yes Elijah is the GOAT. I’m glad Rob hasn’t seen this. It makes me want to watch the full length but I don’t know what kind of tangents Zuff could go on 😂
This storyline does a pretty fantastic job of giving most of the mains sympathetic cross-purposes (and creating some characters who are just straight-out villains- hey Agnes). You want Sophie to have her niece back after brutally seeing her die and having made a promise to her dead sister to save Monique at l(e)ast. But you don't want Davina to have to die, especially because that uncertainty if the Harvest will work lingers. You want Marcel to keep Davina safe and have new respect for him, but at the same time can he be allowed to retain that much power? It also kind of gives you an inkling that it wasn't just Klaus raising Marcel- Elijah here refuses to drink from a "child" (Davina)- the same child Marcel refused to let be killed. The dynamics of Marcel's raising haven't really been brought to the forefront yet, but they are interesting. (also: introduction to Elijah's appreciation for musical instruments in this episode!) And yep, the Cami & Kieran reveal ("they're related?!"), and the introduction of the notion that Agnes was responsible for Sean's deeds. I did lol a little at you guys ragging on Marcel for not knowing his "queen" was related to Kieran.
So glad you guys started this series. The Original is truly an iconic spin-off of the amazing The Vampire Diaries.... I saw you guys also watch and react to Big Little Lies by creator David E. Kelly. If you guys have time can you watch his other mystery drama series called Big Sky which is super awesome. Is a short series.
Its hard to take Kirean seriously because we know humans are so much weaker than vampires. Its disappointing. And the actor just isnt convincing imo. I cringe everytime he tries to threaten anyone.

@@andrewgarza946 That's not true. That one is a rumor created because people didn't like Matt. The actor never dated Plec

Right. Like anyone else would do the same thing.
Marcel isn't a bad guy he's just an opposing force for Klaus.

Been waiting for this reveal. So sad but makes Marcel and Davinas relationship more special ❤️
yess it was one of the best parts of the first few seasons

I don’t think klaus likes Hayley as much as Elijah but I can still see the drama and messiness that can come from this
Haylijah ( Elijah & Hayley ) for the win !!!
The point to the ATLA poster when Davina mentioned the four elements 🙂↕️
Still holding out hope you guys will watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. One word: Spike.
I lovvveeeddddd Spike.🥰🤗
Love this episode we find so much out about the witches.

I have a feeling y’all would love doctor who, it’s campy but super fun and sci-if and the acting and writing really back it up
Y'all should watch Gremlins for Christmas. Also My Cousin Vinnie is a good movie.
Title "Are the witches the real bad guys?"
Brave of you to assume there are Good guys😅
Sorry people are putting spoilers in the comments.
For a vampire movie suggestion because it’s winter now. If you guys haven’t seen it you guys should watch “30 days of night”
sophie is still a good person
I really love y’all
Agnes is the worst of all. The way Elijah deals with her is pretty satisfying to watch in coming episodes😂
❤❤❤❤❤

I agree cause even as a human Elena at least had leverage, Kirren never has any leverage and therefore his threats are empty and mean nothing.
Can you guys react to the movie, “the qb and me” plz
Day fifty-nine of asking my FAVORITE reactors of all time to react to my FAVORITE show, Nancy Drew!
