Hey, Sophie. Just wanted to say that I love your reactions. But can you please increase the frequency of episodes. Maybe to 1 after every two days. Please pretty please 🥺
Claire, Joseph and Daniel were absolutely phenomenal in this episode! Unbelievable how great they are portraing all these emotions and characters in general.
That farewell between Klaus and Rebekah was so heartbreaking. There’s so much love there but too much has happened between them to stay together right now. It’s so tragic.
the originals is way way better than TVD. Character developments are so great and its art. I love Klaus, Rebekah so much. Their dynamics are so amazing. And their stroy is so heartbroken. Joseph and Claire's acts are top notch, they were epic in this episode. This show tuched so many people and you just saw season 1. I hope you enjoy more. thank you Sofie:)
This is an INCREDIBLE episode. The best in the series, in my opinion. The characterization and character development and the emotional resonance are just magnificent. And it can make you laugh, it can make you fear, it can make you cry. It's great.
Rebekah's line: "...we live without Hope, but we can't be killed" Hit diferent after, just like Elijah's "She was this family only Hope, and now she's gone..." Damn
Also remember Rebekah always did make poor choices when it came to the family. Remember back in TVD when The Originals met The Five supernatural hunters who almost wiped out the whole original family due to Rebekah falling in love with that dude who killed them all. If it wasn’t for Klaus being a hybrid they would all be dead and no TVD or Originals. That’s why Klaus is so overprotective and judge Bekah at every turn
Yeah even though klaus can be too much we have to admit she isn't a good judge of character when it comes to love. In fact she is downright terrible which sometimes endangers everyone. Marcel using her is just one of those things granted he did like her he still summoned Mikael knowing what it would mean for Klaus.
The moment Klaus forgave someone who betrayed him (in his eyes) so bad just shows that he has changed both Cami and Caroline(from season 4 of TVD) have cause that human side of him and even he does not want to lose it
It's kinda funny how Marcel in this scene with Rebekah is saying that her brother came in this town like he own this place (umm, he did) and that he took his home, people and everything when Marcel did exactly the same to Mikaelsons first lol
There’s a difference. The Mikaelsons left, Marcel managed to survive and stayed. Marcel built up a community much like Klaus did, but it was only after the Mikaelsons had fled NO for a few decades. Not really the same at all
@@Step43099 the Mikaelsons left because of Marcel (and Rebekah) calling Mikael to come. Mikael told Marcel that he could have the city, spared his life, made The Mikaelsons believe Marcel was dead, and continued trying to hunt down his children. Marcel did take everything the Mikaelsons built and renamed it as his, instead of trying to find his family. Marcel being a hypocrite isn’t new, it’s just annoying lol.
@@BrightStick14 Rebekah was supposed to come back for him and they would make a home together. She never did because she thought he died, and he never went looking for her because he assumed she abandoned him.
@@hali_55 Rebekah thought Marcel died and then she was daggered by Klaus in the 1920s. Marcel knew The Mikaelsons were still alive and never went looking for them, especially Rebekah. Instead he chose to literally rebuild what they had (that Marcel and Rebekah decided to destroy by calling Mikael). Marcel took the proposal Mikael offered and got mad that his 'family' left him. They thought Marcel was dead because of Marcel's deal with Mikael. Mikael didn't kill him, he made a deal with Marcel to spare him so he could have the city and Marcel agreed to that. Marcel proves time and time again that New Orleans is more important to him than Rebekah and his family of the Mikaelsons.
@@Step43099 Klaus now just took what was his from the beginning, Marcel back then took what Klaus and rest of Mikaelsons build. So, yeah, it's not the same. Marcel managed to survive and stayed? He made deal with Mikeal about it, there was not too much of struggles for him in that area really. Mikealsons left not because they wanted, they left because Marcel and Rebekah called Mikael, they left to survive.
I really do feel for klaus when he was yelling at Elijah “ none of you were the ever the aim of mikeal’s cruelty and anger. Mikeal beat klaus all the time and belittled him embarrassed him. I can under the anger he has at marcel and Rebekah in the moment she witnesses the pain he endured from mikeal and still made a message to bring him to hurt klaus.
Marcel is delusional asf😂. He goes to war comes back and sees a well established vampire, werewolf and witches community built by Klaus and Elijah and wants it for himself, dangles some “l love you” bullshit to Rebecca(which she falls for, as always) turns her against Klaus. summons Michael into New Orleans, And at the end still had the nerve to say “your brothers came into this town like they own the place, like they own me, took my home, my people, everything” 😂😂😂 he shouldve let him get his arse whipped for throwin that apple😂
dont worry claire holt aka rebakah she asked time out from the series thats why they finished this episode like this.. she will be back after some episodes
I don't get why after Klaus said that Rebekah wanted him dead, Elijah said "you're wrong". IT IS THE TRUE. She called for Mikael and she knew how that would end. The flasbback about her attempting to kill Mikael was amazing and powerful, but still that didn't erase the fact that she wanted Klaus death then... They spent centuries together on running away from Mikael. Don't tell me that she didn't knew that killing Klaus is what Mikael wants lol
Mikeal wanted to kill him so calling him would have had one outcome had he caught him. I guess she was hoping he would flee but at the same time he really could have died and she knew that. She took a gamble with her brothers life.
I don’t think Rebekah wanted Klaus dead. I think it’s like how police interrogate innocent people and get them to confess to something they didn’t do. You get confused and just say you did it to make it stop. That’s just my opinion 🤷🏾♀️
tho i loved the episode, i mean, come on, they all have a thousand years, at one point they have to take responsibility from their own action, and still, ZERO PITY for Klaus

It’s funny how at this point in the story, Klaus is the only Mikaelson who’s never tried to kill his family 😂
Because Klaus had a option of daggering them.

Loved this whole arc. This episode was the highlight of season 1 for me.
That farewell between Klaus and Rebekah was so heartbreaking. There’s so much love there but too much has happened between them to stay together right now. It’s so tragic.
Yeah, this was definitely one of the best episodes of the whole show. It’s so tragic and beautiful.

what i love about this show is that I never know who to side with, because they all have good and understandable reasons for their actions
Me too, they have such a good way of making even the bad guys view points more easier to side with because the good guys are self righteous dicks

I will really miss Rebekah in this series! She was always the most level headed and most human spirited original 😢

I just wanted to stop by and say that you are so beautiful Sofie ☺️❤️
The Originals is better than the vampire diaries imo.
This comment is getting annoyingly boring, we get it
I do wish Rebekah apologized especially to Elijah.

True, he really abused Rebekah emotionally and made himself the only one she can depend on
MIKAEL IS THE WORST
