I came for George, but i have to say i mostly agree with Horace cooper! Even though i hate big fat SUV's i feel that the choice should remain to the individual. I think 12 years later, we can agree that the best we can do to help the climate, is to work together, and not by restricting each others freedoms.
Interestingly, Horace Cooper doesn't ask Carlin to 'prove it' or investigate the validity of Carlin's claim for himself, no, he used a familiar tactic by first trying to insult George making him sound like a crazy person by saying "back to earth for you now" and when that didn't work he immediately turned to denial.
$3 a gallon for gas? You'd have lines for miles now and it surprisingly has little to do with government. Carlin though was 100% on point and everything he said aged perfectly.
George Carlin…. Several years ago, I watched a video on the 100 greatest comedians of all time, and Carline came in second to prior, which I guess I can understand that for that time, but he was, and still is in my opinion, one of the most intelligent comedians that ever lived. Highly intelligent comedian, with the analytical breakdown and mindset of a philosopher. I always loved that. He had a natural nack with the way he worded and explained his stuff, that he could point out real life scenarios that are both nuisances and irritations to him, but also real world problems in a way that made the audience laugh even if there is a part of the audience that didn’t realize they were being targeted by his joke which made it all even more sweeter, because they could laugh at a humorous way. He was making fun of what they liked, did, believed, in, thought, or what not. I’m going to miss him, and may he continue to rest in peace.
This episode is a revenant as ever. The great George Carlin reminded us that American predator capitalist economy, by definition, lives by growth: For Capitalism to desist from its mindless expansion would be for it to commit social suicide. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all the plutocrats gang of oligarch billionaires and their political employees in congress can talk about is money and the fairy tales of eternal economic growth on a planet with finite resources. We have, essentially, chosen terminal cancer as the model of our social system. Capitalism’s grow-or-die imperative stands radically at odds with ecology’s imperative of interdependence and limit. The two imperatives can no longer coexist with each other; nor can any society founded on the myth that they can be reconciled hope to survive.
The corporate jester sitting next to Carlin is probably one of the most irritating humans I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing. I love at the start he's just like "you can cut that nonsense with me pal, I see your little corporate shtick you have going on", Carlin had enough attitude to send little minions like that whimpering back to the devils ballsack with a glance Lol.
"you don't need a formal conspiracy when you have common interests" the rest of the panel: "ok conspiracy theorist" *goes back to circle jerking each other about their common interests*
Talk about illusion of choice. Gas prices, blackouts, monopolies, we're still talking about the same shit they were talking about in the 90's because we're allowed to talk about them all we want. We're just not allowed to fix them.
The new illusion of choice is Gender politics. It’s another distraction/diversion that most people have fallen for. They are more bothered about people’s pronouns than the Elites continually screwing us all over. The world has gone insane 😬
It's fun how in 2022, they finally listened to the conservative guy and stopped telling people what to do - they just upped the prices 4-5x and let people "make the choice" XD XD XD
Liked Carlins stand up, but always felt he was somewhat hypocritical pointing out how politics is a scam, yet was a devout, proud democrat. Clearly not to say he should have been a republican, but that he should have rejected and despised both parties equally, and he absolutely did not. Intelligent man, ahead of his time, nonetheless.

I came for George, but i have to say i mostly agree with Horace cooper! Even though i hate big fat SUV's i feel that the choice should remain to the individual. I think 12 years later, we can agree that the best we can do to help the climate, is to work together, and not by restricting each others freedoms.
Carlin seems like a prophet today ... man, did he call it!
George Carlin was real!
Carlin was so open eyed to the world and called it like he saw it. The truth. NOW look at us lol
It's crazy how much more of an issue this is today !
Omg people debated about the same shirt 20 years ago, nothing has changed.
I MISS GEORGE!!!!
I'm here for Carlin.
CARLIN would have a field day with today's Social Media Rats!🤩👍🏻
$3 a gallon for gas? You'd have lines for miles now and it surprisingly has little to do with government. Carlin though was 100% on point and everything he said aged perfectly.
2023 here.... imagine paying for Internet by the hour....I still remember the aol free trial disks lulz
It’s insane watching this now and seeing how relevant all these topics still are
George Carlin….
Pryor couldn't hold a candle to Carlin.
he s satanist/freemason. 1:11 masonic handshake and Norm Macdonald is GOAT
Where the hell did THIS Bill go? This version of the guy speaks reality.
Truer now than it was then!! George Carlin forever ❤🔥
And the same issues today!! Same problems today! George is on point!! George the most insightful theorist in history! A true realist!
Carlin was so on point ! Its a bug club and we aint in it!
Eat ze buggz🐛
What a screed-filled batch of shit. You are clueless. Go live in Cuba or Venezuela.
The only thing I hear is the same thing Charlie Brown hears when adults speak....until George speaks.
forget all that stupid shit will ya XD that's gold
Horace Cooper was spot on and still is!
44 miles turned out to be a lie
I keep coming back to this video just to watch 3:10 "forget all.." 😂
George predicted 2020 😂
and 2022
george was a leftist
Carlin was KING √
Oh how I loved this show... Such a cool concept... Intelligent debate between people who would never converge otherwise...
Such a great 3v1 debate.
@@JTNugget such is life... Did u want them all to agree...?
@@heydeanie 🤦 I'd like for them to get more than 1 token conservative/libertarian so that it isn't a dog piling for once.
@@JTNugget that was the point of the show... To see if 4 such completely different people would agree or disagree
@@heydeanie 4 completely different people lmao. It is always 3 democrat voters and 1 republican voter.
George Carlin was spot on right.
That black dude hurts my spirit....
George Carlin was amazing
"you don't need a formal conspiracy when you have common interests"
the rest of the panel: "ok conspiracy theorist" *goes back to circle jerking each other about their common interests*
It is weird to see Bill Maher defending Ralph Nader. In 2016 Bill is doing the exact opposite.
It's called evolving.
@@DjDarkD It's called devolving
Bill Maher has been a complete knob since
Talk about illusion of choice.
The world has gone insane 😬
political discourse in the 90s was......different...
They should have driven Horace Cooper to Compton. Then kicked him out.
I can't even begin to understand the level of naive that dude is
It's fun how in 2022, they finally listened to the conservative guy and stopped telling people what to do - they just upped the prices 4-5x and let people "make the choice" XD XD XD
George Carlin's insight and intelligence was beyond measure. Made this whole panel like like ranting children.
Pay attention to Carlins face, you’ll see it’s full of disgust and anger lol
It’s comical how this was a hot button issue then compared to the problems we have now
George the only smart one here lol
Liked Carlins stand up, but always felt he was somewhat hypocritical pointing out how politics is a scam, yet was a devout, proud democrat. Clearly not to say he should have been a republican, but that he should have rejected and despised both parties equally, and he absolutely did not. Intelligent man, ahead of his time, nonetheless.
It's a shame the wizard is gone George Carlin.😢
Rip to one of the greatest George Carlin
Many Comdians do their due diligence research on their material they going to use on the stage and George Carlin did his on Politics in America and how Lobbyist are running American Policies and in layman terms. 😆❤️😆
This is my issue with politics. A lot of arguing but it doesn’t really change anything
All this seems like a Pre-K "Sandbox of Innocence" nativity scene of America and the world, compared to how much both have metastasized into the plurality of systemic malignancies and/or functional dystopias we're living in today. Almost a picture-frame moment...
And there r plenty of people who would still pick this horace cooper guy as their rep.
Yeah it really makes the future look bleak
70% of all invertebrates on earth have disappeared. Good job.
This old Maur is smarter than the current Maur.🤣
Who the hell is Maur?
I miss both Maurs. Given so little coverage that confirms he even exists, all we have is a comparison. No citation, no birth record, not even a friend who remembers him. Rest in peace Maur, we never knew ye
