Holy crap you created the perfect overview of this bag! Much better than ANY others on youtube! At least for me! When you slid that laptop into the plate carrier, that's what got me. Thank you!!
So I did the same with my GoRuck the back velcro compartment fits my MacBookPro 16" M1 and then the other sleeve I pack my 12.9 IPad Pro M1 and with all the other EDC gear the GoRuck packs are the way to go for EDC and travel because of the tremendous back support. Because this pack was built for carry a lot of weight this pack is very comfortable despite all of my EDC carry weight. Thanks for the great review.
Hey Bro, I was just looking at this recently. Thank you for the great review. I think I am still going to hold out for the MCB, but this is tempting me! Stay well amigo!
If you don't wanna silence is, it doesn't really matter it'll still go in the back. Just bothers me that that hook would be attacking the Cordura haha.
I was one of the folks that got hit with the 4.0 Black/Coyote "Upgrade", I think this video may have convinced me to send it back. I may get the 39L, though because I have 2 Gr2 34Ls. You're ruining me, JT. You and your Wire Dopp, and multicam, and multiple Dragon videos.
very stocked to see this video! I was really considering snagging one of these myself for travel. The pack I was waiting on doesn't seem to be dropping when I hoped... This is a very close second.
Oh man, you've convinced me to get this over a GR2 26L. Would like to see you wear it in a future video. I wish it was 500D to reduce weight, but the 210D makes up for that and the price! The price!!! Haha! Thank you for the video!
Aer makes nice products, thanks for this video. The Max is too big for me to use as a sling, for that capacity my choice would be a small pack like the Bullet or a Bannoch. Looking forward to your next project.
Hi! I’m a big fan of your work :) was wondering if you’d also be able to review the magforce bumblebee zip-up backpack (NOT the rip/up version). Would love to see and hear your ideas on it!
Only thing I do not like in this bag is the bottom handle. My packs hang from a j-hook on my roller bag and the drag will destroy that lower handle fairly quick I would imagine
I'm really struggling, my GR2 26L just came and it seems super great, then my wife balked at how small it was but I wanted it to be a hybrid edc and travel bag. But, then I look at this and now I'm thinking of exchanging this. I DO plan to ruck and exercise, the fact that it has all the handles, sternam strap, which I plan to add to the GR2 26L. Seems you really believe the quality is the same. I can get this with a 45lbs plate with a waist belt for almost the same cost as the GR2 26L. From all the videos I've seen I just need to decide if moving the laptop to the plate pocket vs the back really matters. I'm thinking the value of the space and the plate since I do plan to ruck is worth it. This is way longer than I expected. Do you have any responses? or Advice?
@@jtinseoul7041 I proudly pay a premium to support North American and European manufacturers with lifetime warranties. Paying that same premium for slave labor from Asia isn't what I'm personally into, whether it be from Vietnam, China, Bangladesh, or other 3rd world exploitative markets. Is this bag worth the price? eh...that's up to each consumer. I've never seen any Go Ruck that excited me.
I feel you're being pretty obtuse calling labour in Vietnam slave labour. Have you been? Not much of what I experienced there could fall into the net you cast.

Yes I was wondering about the laptop as well.

Awesome perspective here once again jt. I would not have thought of silencing the loop on that plate pocket.

Thank you for a great review! Was looking for a very realistic review of how the Rucker LR can be used for Travel and Rucking too!

"Most protected laptop of all laptops" Haha, love it! Great bag for travel, although I'll stick to my GR2 26L for EDC. Great video as usual brother!

Damn, that's a nearly perfect travel backpack. Especially for the price.
That might be the best bag GR makes now. Great price, awesome bag! I'd get the 39L though.
I know you like the big boys! I'm the Rambler to your Vandal buddy.
@@jtinseoul7041 That's actually a very true statement. Every bag we have in common I go for the bigger size (GR, TBB, MW, EG, TB).
I wanted to get the 39…but not all planes in Europe allow 22 inch carry on bags. I might have to go with the 34 for the 20 inch length 🤔
It reminds me of a Blackhawk 3 day assault pack which is an excellent pack. Please do a follow up review after a good few hard months of use.
I was surprised myself (as a big GR2 fan) how much I liked this. Definitely will follow up on it.
If that plate pocket was removable (or simply removed) it would make a great travel bag. I personally hate the GR1 laptop compartments as well.
Its primary purpose is rucking with plates.

But the sizeeee. The GR2 26L still seams to be the best sized goruck
Maybe, but if you need the extra space. Nowadays with the baby I can't really do 26L for travel.
@@jtinseoul7041 great excuse JT great excuse 🤣 like you need another one ahhaha jks CARYY on!

As I remember it's similar to the Mystery Ranch Unicorn.
Thanks for the great review. Do you know how much the 33l weighs?
I can actually fit a 15.6" Dell in the primary plate pocket and a 13" MBP in the secondary plate pocket.
Only thing I do not like in this bag is the bottom handle. My packs hang from a j-hook on my roller bag and the drag will destroy that lower handle fairly quick I would imagine
I hope to see your review of the atd1 that you show on your channel 💙
Looks awesome! Any idea of the dimensions of that Velcro piece on the weight plate?

@jtinseoul is the frame sheet in this pack too stiff or uncomfortable?
Hey hoser, nice review eh? Sorry, I just watched Strange Brew.
What happened, you haven't made a video in 3 months
I'm transitioning into a role at another channel and once that is all settled you'll be able to catch me again often on both :)
vietnam > usa bags in my experience
I turned the video off as soon as you said made in Vietnam 🤣🤣🤣
Lol, I hope not for reals.
