Just received it two days ago and I'm in love with it. It's everything I imagined it would be and more. Buying a carabiner and an Embrace The Suck patch this week and its a finished build.@@jeffgrantMEDIA
Any new update on the bag after a year? Do you still have the bag? What do you like & dislike? Any modifications? How have you used it for travel and/or EDC? I bought one for Black Friday Special but in a Black exteriror with Orange interior. I got it delivered a few days ago.
I actually sold this very recently. I haven’t been traveling nearly as much as i use too. But I did travel with it a few times for long weekends. And it worked pretty well. The only issue I found was the top pocket in the front section can get in the way. It is 3 dimensional, so it bulks out up top. I didn’t do any destructive mods. I kept the foam block in for laptop protection, and removed it for travel to give myself some extra space. I also made a loop panels to block out the heavy duty Velcro for the plate carrier pocket. This allowed for quicker, quieter access.
Loved mine but soon returned it for the simple fact that the MOLLE on the face of the bag is off center quite a bit. Definitely obvious when you install ruck straps or a pouch.
TBH, it's a no-brainer to get this over the gr2 if you don't have the gr2. The better frame sheet and lumbar support do make a big difference in carrying. Although I picked up a GR2 in decent shape a year ago for 200 usd, still thinking of getting the rucker 4.0 in addition, as I just enjoy using my rucker 3.0 and don't need to carry a laptop for travel, phone is good enough in this day.
People need to grab these while they can. I think next year they will be DRASTICALLY different. Just like the what I believe to be the real reason for the Rucker 4.0 “updates.” But that’s a video I’ll be doing in a week or so. But damn…$200 for a GR2! You should sell that for a profit and grab a LR Rucker and have some cash in your pocket!
Just bought a 39L Long Range Rucker yesterday on an early Black Friday deal. Probably not going to receive it this week but it’s shipping now.
the LR Ruckers are still a great buy!

QC issues like that should never make it out the door.

It even comes with the mods of two sides handle. Definitely a real deal. But it’s hard to resell one in Hong Kong. Not much people knows goruck here.
@@tomchiu4170 man, if you were in the US or UK you could double your money on that GR2! You might need a vacation….
@@jeffgrantMEDIA i do, planning a graduation trip to the EU next year!
