Thank you for noticing that bro. It takes me about 10-12 hours start to finish per video and a lot of it is very thoughtful placing of clips. I’ve gotten pretty proficient at it but it would be sooo much easier to just talk into a camera or show random graphics/clips lol.

Final Four in my bracket is UConn, UNC, Duke, and Tennessee. So got a shot on 3 of 4. But Purdue seems hard to stop.
UConn-Illinois is setting up to be an offensive showdown I think. Amazing passing on both sides. I’m excited to see how that one plays out.

I am a Gonzaga fan, and I was really frustrated with the calls Edey was getting the whole game. Just not sure how you’re supposed to defend him, he either scores or gets a foul call. But still proud of how our guys played even with the doubts and criticism of the media all season.
That’s the thing, you can’t. It’s the reason shaq was so dominant, there was no one his size besides Yao. There’s no one edey’s size so he’s going to be practically unstoppable until a team finds out how to defend him effectively.

I personally think 2021 Houston had the easiest path to the final four. They faced 15 seed Cleveland State, 10 seed Rutgers, 11 seed Syracuse, and 12 seed Oregon State. The first single digit seed they faced was no. 1 Baylor in the Final Four and they got absolutely killed

i agree that dukes game was weaker then expectations but i think dukes showed grit and tough basketball in that houston game. Procter had huge defensive plays down the stretch and Ryan Young had the most impressive 4/4 i’ve ever seen. Then Flip was leading the offensive and point points on the board when it was needed. Is the outcome different with Shead in, yes, but regardless houston is a tough team but duke was tougher.
Worst part of this entire tournament is not seeing IA St take on UConn in the Elite Eight.. I wanted UConn to at least take on one good team this tournament and they will roll into national championship unchallenged. Really? 11-seed NC state? 6-seed Clemson? 4-seed Duke? Give me a break...

Not one single digit team in that run. But yes, poor Houston, who too has benefitted from the same thing Duke did.
A team with that much experience shouldn’t have looked that out of place and lost with their best player going down. ESPECIALLY considering that they’ve been banged up in March in the prior 2 tournaments. Duke weathered the storm after that initial run and would’ve made it a close game anyways. Houston was vulnerable after getting dog walked in their conference tournament and but barely scraped by Texas A&M. Like, you can’t possibly be serious with that analysis of how the game and team went. They shouldn’t even have been playing Duke lol

Disagree with your take on duke. Sure the game would have been different with Shead, but the officiating was definitely in favor of houston this game. Duke realized this, and started playing just as physical. Shead is a monster, but after the beginning duke was starting to come alive. Moreso the houston coach has lame takes and they had no depth. I think the Houston definitely had a better shot at winning with shead but saying duke would have lost isnt how it works. im rooting for state but after this physical battle with houston, i would be surprised if they duke doesnt carry the same energy to future games.

@@hardwood_yt they were preseason rank 1. Duke has nothing but talent. It just comes down to matchups, who makes shots, who can stay healthy, and who can make the clutch plays. Thanks for the analysis though. It is hard to find decent march madness content this year for some reason, apart from your vids.
The equivalent of this is Shead playing and Filipowski being out. Duke wouldn’t be near as good. It’s a smart take to conclude that Houston wins this game if one of the best players in college isn’t injured.
Shead is literally the key to that offense. If he isn’t scoring he’s a menace on defense or facilitating the ball. With him out they were lost. I’m not a Houston fan and agree with Hardwoods take that with him not injured Duke loses by 10 or so.
Duke isn’t a bad team but they weren’t the better team here. That’s life though, injuries happen all the time in sports and Duke was able to close it out! They deserve the win.

The refs managed the game fine and Purdue was upset with quite a few no-calls also. Other than that though, love your channel and your analysis is very good. Just don't fall into the "ref's are why purdue won" trap.

Duke has played 2 teams with 30+ wins? JMU was absolutely the real deal and only had that lower rank bc they are new to D1 and Houston is the best defensive team in the country? To me I thought they were the best in the tournament and with shed they probably are, but either way the only way you beat that Houston team is in a grueling physical defensive slugfest of a game and I didn’t think this Duke squad had that in them but they absolutely met the challenge. Now they play NC State a team that they have already lost to THIS MONTH😭 NC state beat them 6 games ago by only 5 points but in a game that they bullied duke. Idc if they are an 11 seed they are cold they ran through Duke, UNC, and Clemson back to back to punch their ACC champs bid. so how does duke have the easiest run in recent tournament history?😭
