Hike

Hiking Henning Ridge, Altadena, CA.
Henning Ridge is a little known location within a well known area of the Angeles National Forest. Since it is located just off Mount Wilson Toll Road, a visit to it can be combined with other hiking destinations. In fact, if I had known about it previously, I would have added it to my Mount Princeton video while on the way down. Such a move would have broken up the downhill toll road hike quite nicely, much like it did on this video. With all the development on Henninger Flats, which seems to sit mostly unused now, the area has certainly seen better days. It makes a great hiking destination these days, at the very least. Getting creative with all the intersecting roadways adds to the outing. There are definitely worse ways to get your daily steps in!
