I'm a mechanic for a living, and use a tablet to concoct estimates, take pictures, perform DVI's etc. as you can imagine a hostile environment. I've had one of these cases from the original run, (when they had a lion as the logo) and it's the best investment I ever made for my iPad Pro, which is a 2020 model. It's got strong magnets so I can attach it to my service cart or the post of my lift if I need to check torque value, or sequences, or if I need to look at a diagram etc. probably the strongest selling point to me.
Nice case, I believe that you can also use the magnets to mount the iPad to a refrigerator. If that’s is the case would have loved to see that in the review.
My 3rd gen also fits in my new ipad pro 12.9 6th gen. The only thing is the camera cut out but I don't mind that at all. I have several of these cases and absolutely LOVEEEEE them. I think I will just have to get this new artic color too... ;o)

My Question are these two Cases are the only ones they have the new Material inside or become the other colors also the new Material. I like the Zugu Case but they overall Microfibre inlay is not the best because its a real Particle Magnet. In Germany the new Color available in November 😢.
Nice review. I just got a new 12.9, the latest and greatest iPad. Air 2 finally gave up the ghost. And looking for a case, this is very promising, I’m liking the olive color and functionality of this case. The attic color is cool, but I’d get it dirty to quickly. How well does the pen holder keep the pen? Can it be shaken out of there?

I have 2 zugu cases for my 2018 ipad pro 11, and the fake leather thing started peeling off after only a few months, especially in the corners, the grooves, and the flip part. The fabric holding the magnet on the stand also tore off recently. That was I think the first generation zugu case because I still have the insignia instead of “ZUGU” lettering in the front. Do you think zugu’s addressed this durability issue with this new updated version? I love my zugu case and nothing ever comes close to it. I’ve tried ESR sentry and tomtoc cases. None was enough to replace the zugu, even in its current, sad condition.
Great quality,protection, and functionality but at the cost of portability because of weight and bulk. I am retiring mine and looking for something lighter.
At first I thought it will be a case I was looking for then I saw in the store photos that it has that ugly "leather" pattern... and then you mentioned about gen 4 not entirely fitting... I feel disappointed ;/

separate bluetooth keyboard, there are a ton out there. Stash in your bag, pull out when needed.

I'm so torn on these colors ... I already have a couple of the other colors but that Olive & Grey looks SO good!
