I own the black ZUGU case for my iPad Pro and absolutely LOVE it I refuse to use any other case and it does actually stick to your fridge with no issues and doesn’t slide or fall!!!
Awesome review. I recently bought an iPad Air 5 and I’m having a tough time choosing a case. I was about to buy the Spigen case. It’s good that you pointed out the Apple Pencil charging issue. I would have to choose another brand.
I know that zugu is a little more expensive but thats the best case out of all the one's I've tested.. right now I'm testing a mous case but its really expensive. I should have that one up soon
The ZUGU case is 100% worth the money in my opinion it’s strong and sturdy and dependable I have 3 dogs pit mixes and a bull terrier plus 3 kids and it’s kept my iPad Pro protected from them all 😂
I plan on getting an iPad Air soon. I think the ZUGU case is a perfect investment. However I don't plan on ever using or needing the Apple Pencil. But if I ever do it's always ready for it.
Thanks for the reviews! I appreciated your candor on the cases and also your enthusiasm for the ZUGU. Showing the pencil holder on-side and also on the back, was cool. Also, showing the Spigen's pencil charging issues was valuable. I'll hit subscribe. Be well and good luck. Follow-up: I just ordered one. It should arrive the same time as my new iPad. Thank you again!. I'd read many reviews and watched several on UA-cam. You influenced my choice to the point of purchase. And I know the item will be a good match for my needs.
Please review Mous' iPad Air case. It's on pre-order hold at the moment. I probably would have bought it now, if it was available now. But since it isn't, I delved deeper with research. And hence found this better product in the ZUGU. be well, - Josh
Thank you for the awesome comment, I really appreciate it. I returned the air in favor of my iPad Pro. I’ll check out the mous case for the pro and do a review soon
I bought the Fintie case and have to say, I am pleased with it so far. Low cost, and functional. Have not had any issues with the iPad Air 2022 (5th Gen) falling out. Thanks for the review, saved me $50 from buying other brandname cases.
Would you say Zugu is a worthy case to invest in if you are planning to use the iPad largely as a note-taking device and does it provide a comfortable writing experience as a student because its tall borders look like they might put a strain on your wrist while using the apple pencil 2?
[00:02] Hey there! Thanks for sharing your detailed review of these iPad Air cases. It's great to see the variety of options out there. I'm particularly interested in the Zugu case, especially with the feature that they'll cover the deductible for Apple Care+ if your screen breaks while using their case. That's a unique and reassuring offer. Could you please provide more information about the viewing angles and how stable the iPad is when using the Zugu case in different positions? Also, how does it feel in terms of weight and bulkiness compared to the other cases you reviewed? Looking forward to your response! 😊
I take my iPad Mini out of the Moshi Versa Cover on a regular basis (100 times/year) to attach it to my car mount. How easy is it to remove the iPad from the Zugu case & do you think that the attachment points are robust enough to endure this type of use over time? I ask as the Moshi faired well considering "years" of use - but the camera corner cracked open & needed some tape to keep it in tact.
It’s a tight fit so I wouldn’t want to keep pulling it out of the case. Not sure how you mount it but with the zugu’s built in magnets , maybe you can use them on your mount.
@@bucklifetech Good to know THX- I may have to look into a snap on case (less protective though) that comes off easier yet still acts as a stand when needed.
Was it from Amazon? I have noticed a lot more used items coming from them being passed on as new. I buy a lot of lightly used items from them because of the price buuut if I buy something new then I expect it to be new!
Thanks for the review of the top cases. On the Zugu do you find the hinge becoming loose and sloppy over use? I see the cover fits in a groove as you mentioned but when you opened and closed it seemed to shift to the side. I am wondering on the durability. Do you find it heavy and is the lowest setting ample for typing? Thanks
It’s not great for portrait but amazing for everything else. I have it on my wife’s iPad and recommend this case before any others. The magnets are strong enough to hold it onto the fridge or maybe even a toolbox. It’s great.
How is the case when you you flip the front cover on to the back does the magnets hold it in place on the Zugu like if you were holding the iPad like reading a book
After playing around with it somw more, i think it was just my fat finger holding up the back and not the magnets but still feels really good in that position none the less. Hope that helps

Man, why do they make ALL cases with room or cutouts for the pencil? I don't use it, I don't need it. Why can't they make a case for people like me? SMH.
I think from a manufacturing side, the majority of people use an Apple Pencil or plan to get one at some point so if they didn’t include it then most people wouldn’t buy it. Apple one the other had don’t include it on the folio or Magic Keyboard
Thats me with the headphone jack. I wish devices still had it. I tried Bluetooth once and hated it. Quality never beats wired. I don't like to be forced to use something that doesn't work for me. I'm never changing my current phone to a new one because of that. Bluetooth in general doesn't sound good because unlike wired where it is connected directly into the device, Bluetooth is not. It's dependent on battery and signal. That's another reason I hate Bluetooth. You have to fricken charge it. With wired headsets, I don't have to think about that. I personally like wired. Don't have to worry about charging, it disconnecting from the device and blasting whatever I'm listening to in public, nor the quality because it's connected directly into the device. Edited spelling
The fintie case sucks wish I didn’t buy this or at least watched this video first before purchasing it it falls when barley touched also the folio cover doesn’t lay flat when closed also the iPad Air 5 uncases itself and falls out of the case to easily while holding it
@@bucklifetech Ordered it. Tried it out, sent it back. It's a good case however it's really annoying that the back cover doesn't really magnetically stick to the back of the case. Plus the shallowest position is very flimsy and shakes a lot while still being to steep to comfortably write on it Build quality and protection are excellent though

No the zugu is legit, maybe a little pricey but i keep one on my wife's ipad pro and its still brand new looking after months
Sweet! Thank you so much for your input!
I have the Zugu case for my 12.9 iPad Pro a nd swear by it worth the $
I can’t wait for it to release with the new iPads
Is Zugu good enough for kids usage?
I think so because they're the only company that claims they will pay your apple care deductible if your screen cracks.
Does Zugu's one can be used in Portrait mode with magnets holding, how's your experience with it.
