For the coloring book, which looks great, it’s a 7 day “free” trial. I wish you would make that clear instead of saying, “it’s free”.

After checking out the reviews for the Lake colouring app it appears to be a 7 day free trial after which they automatically start charging you a subscription fee. I was expecting it to be a reduced function and limited colouring pages free version with the OPTION of paying for a subscription with more functions and/or purchase of colouring books.
I’ve been using it for a little while for free (maybe two months), but maybe I had signed up for the trial then just cancelled it right away. Now I have no issues, and it just shows up with the upgrade button on the app. Other than the extra illustrations, you can also make unlimited journal entries on premium. For free you can make only one per day, but it’s my favourite feature of the app. you input your mood keywords and it’ll make you a colour palette and offer you a choice of two images to colour. I find myself so often not drawing anything if there are too many choices
You don't have to activate the free trial. I haven't and I can use it just fine. The choice of pictures to colour is limited, but there are still plenty nice ones 😊
I cant open it at all without activating the free trial
@@my3sneezes activate it then cancel it right after that’s what I did and it worked
Just close the “activate demo version” window, and you’re all set to use the free version 😊

If you have friends in other towns who don’t use their library card, you can use their cards in Libby. Check with your friends that move around a lot. 😊
I love Libby too. I don’t think it’s the librarians at your local who choose the books though. The five publishing companies that control access to the books choose the books for you. I’ve noticed that they only release book 1 of a series, so that you will buy the rest.
I do love it, but I wish librarians could control their own collections, like in the predigital days.
You can get a New York public library card by entering a New York address. Maybe try that
@@TheLindarosewood it is the library that chooses what they buy. I’ve moved a few times in the last couple years and have three diff library cards on there and always check them all of a book is not available somewhere. 99% of the time the library card from the big city has it all and the small town library card only has super popular books and just a smaller collection overall. The bigger libraries also have more copies of books too which helps with the queue and waiting for something to be available.

I installed libby but I dont find any library un Buenos Aires Argentina
Tip: to settings and tap control centrer then scroll down and tap hearing and then scroll, and then tap on the ear button and then you can choose some sound that you want on your tablet users there’s a lot of to choose from but not that much🙂

Thank you for all the great app suggestions. It looks like Lake Coloring has a free 7 day trial, then paid subscription.
You just close out of the pop up (x button top right) when it asks you to subscribe. You don’t need to start a free trial to use the app.

that depends on you. is it good for you? are you able to follow lectures and understand them or does it lag too much due to the ipad having an old processor? i can't answer that

When I tried Libby,it didn’t work,I tried searching up my library because I’m a first timer,but my library didn’t show up,I typed my library card and that didn’t work either,I’m was really looking forward to reading on Libby,but I can’t.😢
I downloaded Lake coloring app and used it. It's free but not for all templates.
The app tools and colors are convenient, maybe I should use it more in the future because I'm not yet sure how coloring pictures can get me calm (:

The good thing is that I love these apps❤ but the bad thing is that I don’t have an Apple Pencil 😢
Please note that in Canada Amazon does not allow the use of Libby on Kindles. Kobo links with Libby, making Kobo the logical choice for Canadians.

Question about Libby. How do you “read” and hear at the same time? I have wanted this feature forever. Do I need to borrow the ebook and it’s available through there? I always borrow audiobook. Thanks for your help.

@@NairobiOSmith Libby’s features may be determined by the library that licenses Libby. Your library also may have tutorials on how to use the app.
It’s either read or some titles have listening. Just depends on your library. I’ve used it for many years. Listening during commuting is great.

I used freeform but i found it starts lagging after a certain amount of stuff you write and paste and the app closes , it really frustrated me bc i had to break my notes into 2 or 3 pages bc it couldn’t hold that much info on one page
Use one note it’s again a unlimited page size and it’s free I have all my uni degree on it so far and no lag

i hate when they put libby as an app and don't specify it works in english speaking countries only. you're just wasting the time of the rest of the world by making them download the app and be confused

Libby also works in non-English speaking countries. It works perfectly fine in Estonia with books available in Estonian, English and Russian. I think Libby compatibility depends more on your local library rather than geo-restriction.
Stupid, no one need these apps and some are only free for some days….😢
