Armored Lizard BITES HARD!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- Mark encounters a feisty shingleback lizard on his first expedition to Western Australia! Unfortunately, the poor lizard is absolutely covered in blood sucking ticks…so Mark risks his fingers to try to remove them one by one. Will he take a bite while trying to help this blue tongue skink?
He better hope so - because these armored lizards bite hard!

This has the legend Steve Irwin vibes; I remember watching him jump from a truck in many episodes on reptiles
I remember him in my English examination
This is by far one of the cutest lizards I’ve ever seen. They have the tail of a leopard gecko, skink face, and rattlesnake scales 😮
His tail is unusually slim, poor dude is lacking a good feed. Usually the tail is about as big as the head.
O
And adorable little hands 🥰
Agree!
He looks like he’s smiling so it’s very cute lol
I bet the little guy feels much better after getting all those ticks off of him and out of his ears, he just doesn't want to admit it. Cute lizard, great vid!
I love that Mark tries to have a reasonable conversation with the lizard for his hat back
I hope to see Mario show up on this channel as well as Coyote more often! But Mark, you’re doing great!
They're in almost half the videos. It's just they don't work with Mark anymore, maybe due to a falling out or something
I hope Luigi comes out of a pipe on one of their adventures to help out.
Mark is in the comments answering questions and giving shout outs! Best comment gets pinned to the top of the video in 1 hour!
Love this channel. I enjoy watching people being bitten by wild animals.
Idea: REVISITING The WARRIOR WASP!
❤
I feel like that lizard is more likely to remove your ear than pull ticks off of it.
What sting episodes are brave wilderness doing this year are there new ones coming
Gotta love watching brave wilderness havent watched in like 2 years bit its still 🔥
E
Thank you!
@@BraveWilderness ay gotta love yall are the people who made me interested in reptiles i used to go out herp and remove ticks aswell
Love this video!! Looking forward to more Australia content!
“Who do you think you are, Jake Paul?!?”
-Mark, talking to a lizard.
Love it!
“… you bad, Leroy Brown?”
I'm glad you are helping out all of the natures society and experiencing what it is like to be harmed by one of the amphibians! Great job man, you are the best!
Reptiles for the win. 💪
@Don't Read My Profile Picture sure I wont
It's mind-blowing to think that 66 million years ago, reptiles ruled over the entire Earth. 🤯 Now, only small traces of them remain.
I prefer amphibians specifically salamanders
@@BOOGINA They’re really dope but reptiles are just so cool bro.
🦎🐉🐊🔥💚
Watching all those ticks made my skin itchy all over. Imagine having not just one but _multiple_ ticks inside your ear with no way to get them out yourself.
Fun fact: one of these guys made a cameo in the movie "mad max 2: the road warrior", it can be spotted near the feral kids' burrow in at least 2 shots during Lord Humungus's speech. I wonder if the little guy/girl was deliberately placed there or just so happened to be wandering through the filming location.
“Who do you think you are, Jake Paul?”
“Give me my hat back sir.”
- Brave Wilderness
About time we get more Aussie content
Let’s go!!! 🙌
In an hour
Yeahh
I’m happy that you help that reptile by removing those little pests, good job
Yay more Australian content 😍😍
lots of it coming up, we filmed 10 videos over the last 3 weeks
@@BraveWilderness does bite Hard
“Who do you think you are, Jake Paul?” 😂😂😂😂
“..No. The name’s Leroy - Leroy Brown.” (Just like an alligator lizard I encountered~ 50 years ago. He was *Bitey!* )
Great video, love the close up shots
Only video I'm not mad about clickbaiting the title. Nice helping out the lizard buddies!
I Used to have a pet blue tongue lizard, the bites hurt like buggery but other than that they make really gentle and sweet pets :)
As someone who hails from Western Australia when I was a kid I would see these in my backyard all the time . One of my memories involving these guys was when one of them wondered into our backyard my dog would always try to eat the poor thing so my mother would have to get our dog away from the bobtail , then she would come in with a bucket and a broom , scoop up the lizard and release it back into the bush across the road from our house.
Love the color on the tongue. Cool lizard! Thanks for trying to get the ticks off of him 😁
Found it funny when it bit the hat, and mark lifted it 😂
Lol looks like it is smiling at the camera
😂😂😂❤ I absolutely love animals
I absolutely love lizards! I get so excited when the wilderness team uploads!!! ❤ Any Coyote OGs out there?! ❤
Ye coyote would have taken the bite
Love your content Coyote and the crew and I have been watching your videos since my childhood.❤

You guys are so brave!😍🌟❤️🔥🏆✨
Love all of your awesome videos!😎❤️🔥🌟
You can tell that once you start removing the ticks the lizard knows you are helping😊
for sure, I can only imagine the relief of getting the ticks out from its ears
I call it a bobtail lizard. They live in my garden in Perth Western Australia
We had a blast in Perth, so happy we finally got to visit WA
Yes it’s amazing
Hes such a cute little goofy goober
Looks a lot like my bearded dragon, almost. So cool how lizards can look so different and unique yet so close at the same time
Awesome videos keep the good work
Love the vid. Try not to get bit lol
Beautiful Lizard 🤩
Nice bro love it I’ve been watching you for 4 years
He's so cute
I like it when he says there are so many ticks in this lizard's ear.
Are we ever going to see Mark and Coyote in the same video again?... I miss the old days... I hope they are still friends...😢
Still friends, but working on different projects now. Maybe someday we'll have a reunion vid?
@@BraveWilderness awesome! Thanks!
@@BraveWildernessok 😊

@@BraveWildernessThank you! We _NEED_ a best friend reunion
Your bids make me so happy:D
Been watching you since childhood and it just gets better and better 🎉
Such a cool reptile. Like a wingless Dragon with those scales.
I know it's unlikely, but I like to think it was somewhat grateful you removed those pesky ticks.
I think so too!
@Don't Read My Profile Picture bro shut stop commenting and replying in all the comments it's kinda annoying
@@PlecsExotics3 these types of comments are bots. best to report them and that's it.
@@WarriorWolfLRB they definitely act like bots, I reported them
Very pesky ticks!
Lovely lizard!
I let one of these bite my toe when I was a kid in the outback and boy did it hurt!!
I’ve been watching a UA-cam channel ever since you started😊
Thank you for watching us!
I run even when I see normal wall lizard 😂
Coyote Peterson entering the bite zone with a Coyote Peterson 😊
The cutest episode ever !!!
Poor guy no one likes ticks!😢 Guys you are amazing keep up the good work!❤😊
What are you Jake Paul?🤣🤣🤣 got me rolling
Love your videos ❤️
Thank you!
I owned a blue tongue lizard he was maybe 20 when he passed away, such a cool wee man, his name was Sebastian, he loved creamy desert rice, snails, blueberries and other fruit aswell as cat food.
This is a great video!
Thats a pretty cute looking fellow
I love this channel

“Who do you think you are jake paul got your hat “ 😂😂😂
man love your channel that must hurt
Mark: soo this is the lizard :D
Shingleback: *nom* [bites hat]
Mark: …. *mother fri-*
That lizard is beautiful, it doesn't look that big. I think reptiles are always cool. I'm surprised that the lizard bit the hat, that was funny.
♥️♥️♥️love you all♥️♥️♥️
Cayote: im boutta be bitten by a very very dangerous animal
Them: hopefully wont be bitten
“Got your hat”😂
My tortoise bit me once hard lol And as the viral video this week mentioned, sloths can bite really hard as well. How cool you helped the lizard..
My tortoise bit me bad. They got chompers
Respect to this guy
I love your vids❤
My heart goes out to this man :-)
I watched Brave Wilderness since I was young it was my childhood and taught me many things
Just wanna say I'm so happy you took the ticks outta the ears. I had a tick in my ear for three weeks when I was a kid they couldn't remove it because it was attached to my ear drum. Hate ticks with a passion and help animals when I can with them. Screw ticks love possums.
Australian animals are awesome and weird at the same time. 😂😂
The coolest wildlife is in Australia
That's right!😂
Fine animal! Nice work. Thanks.
Very cute !
Bobtail? Never heard of it, down in south Australia we have them too but they are known as stumpy tail lizards, they are always covered in ticks here too but be careful as you can catch some serious diseases from them
Such a cool and neat little creature.
Looks like a Pokemon! Love this type!
Not sure if Mark's still around to answer, but I'd like to ask the following:
I'm obviously no fan of parasites, let alone ticks, but I find that there's a bit of a contrast between saying "this is nature, let it take its course unless the problem is humans" or "leave it as you found it", and then removing parasites from the animals you find. Do we just not have a sufficient ecological reason in this case to let the ticks be present if we don't want them bothering other animals? Even for the common blackbirds, I wouldn't mind them living without parasites, either, so I'd totally understand.
The Shingle back reminded me of a blue mouth lizard
It's so cute 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I gotta say, that's one awesome lizard
It’s adorable
Your hand was just pissing him off 😂
Definitely should do an episode about the American bison one of my favorite animals on the planet.
ive been waiting for you to come to west aus
we loved WA!
I have tiliqua blue tongue the same like this
Amazing, Reptiles are the most Interesting creature on the planet. Be Brave Stay Wild,See you on the next Adventure.🐊🦎🐢🐍
What cool little lizard!
Looked painful Mark & Crew...don't forget to surf those Sydney Ozzy waves M8 🏄 I liked this video yes!!!!👍😅
Such an amazing creature.
Coolest episode I’ve ever watched
other *humans* : " it looks so scary… "
me : " OML IT’S SO ADORABLE PLEASE I WANT IT AS A PET!!!!!1!11111!!!! "
Shinglebacks are awesome!
I used to have a pet blue tongue. They're very lazy and very chill
📸 Mark, for having been behind the camera for so long, you really are now using your incredible skills with the animals u now find to interact with them!! Your new hands-on approach with your catches shows u not only are v. knowledgeable, but it would seem, a kind of Renisance wilderness man.
I enjoy your vids v.much, but I must say, many do wonder what happened 2 Coyote P, as well ???
Australia has some very unique reptiles.
Coyote gets bitten by many but now it's (probably) Mark's hat's turn who gets bitten (close enough).
Nice catching those lizards
Armored lizards are cool!!!
This lizard is so cute :)
