Behind the logical within
So far from the lines I've crossed, you'll see

The fall from something greater
Conflicting thoughts result in chaos
It's a chaos that is mine
If you could only see me now

Be what I claim to be lost
In the emptiness that haunt me still
The helplessness that break me

If you could ever understand
And feel what I believe
I feel it coming
I feel it coming to a close
Where promises are lies
It sets me up
For disappointment through and through
Where chaos claims the straight and narrow
If you could only see me now
If only you could know
If you could ever understand
And feel what I believe
The shift in our perspective
Leave us further from, withdrawn
What causes to this friction
Are we accountable for
If you could only see me now
If only you could know
If you could ever understand
And feel what I believe
If only you could see
If only you would know
If only you could see

WAIT WHAT!?!? How long has this band been a thing? And as a die hard fan of this style, why am I just discovering this?! This is very refreshing in modern times. Its ALL about the deathcore and djent stuff now. But European melodic death metal is by far the greatest!
The best instrumental
In flames, dark tranquillity, gardenian and hammerfall in one band!
Lol and the rest 😅
This warms my soul straight from my twenty year old self through to my current 42 year old self!! How i missed this and excited to hear more!! And tour in the states please!!!

Welcome back legendary Swedish Gothenburg Metal..True In Flames!!!! Whoracle/Colony Nostalgia..Greeting from Malaysia
Die-hard fan here too bro. \m/
@@Thrasher_Abbatoir im crying..so long waiting this moment and finally they come back..nostalgia bro..
thank you for bringing this video in this format, looks so f***ing great!!
This song alone is already better than the last 5 In Flames albums altogether... Hey Anders, look how it's done
Unfortunately he can't growl like he used to anymore. Mikael sounds as awesome as ever. I will always love In Flames but they just simply haven't been this band for longer than they actually were at this point.
@@jimmainey7768 plus the classic lineup here is legend. New IF lineup just a harcore kids playing melodeath 😆
@@Thrasher_Abbatoir Chris Broderick is a hardcore kid? lol
@@johanrene78 you know im refering to other two right? ;)
@@Thrasher_Abbatoir Nah they totally lost what they had and are exploring a different direction - I wouldn't call it melodeath. But this... This is the stuff
Them oldskool vibes. Best lineup ever.
I'm pretty much shedding a tear of joy right now seeing this come out. My fav band is back the way I always wanted it!!!!
super chill, easy listening metal. found myself headbanging at a few parts. first time hearing this band and want to hear more. vocals are huge for me and i really like this dude. whole band is on point
Who else feels like a teenager again? I'm loving this!
Old In Flames members coming back and completely slaughtering nowadays In Flames. True legends!
"Feel What I Believe"
Behind the logical within
So far from the lines I've crossed, you'll see
I'll bring an end to this
The fall from something greater
Conflicting thoughts result in chaos
It's a chaos that is mine
If you could only see me now
If only you could know
And feel what I believe
To be real and always true
Be what I claim to be lost
In the emptiness that haunt me still
The helplessness that break me
If you could only see me now
If only you could know
If you could ever understand
And feel what I believe
I feel it coming
I feel it coming to a close
Where promises are lies
It sets me up
For disappointment through and through
Where chaos claims the straight and narrow
If you could only see me now
If only you could know
If you could ever understand
And feel what I believe
The shift in our perspective
Leave us further from, withdrawn
What causes to this friction
Are we accountable for
If you could only see me now
If only you could know
If you could ever understand
And feel what I believe
If only you could see
If only you would know
If only you could see
And feel what I believe
If only you could see
If only you would know
If only you could see
And feel what I believe

I feel 20 years again.....20 years we've missed the sound that could conquer heavy metal....
Man when we talk about Melodic Death Metal one thing comes,
In Flames,Dark Tranquility, Arch Enemy= Swedish Metal Bands

Love from Pakistan
Great song by all means! The melodies are insane and that backbeat has made the verse. Moreover, I did like the lyrics. Hoping to be so happy after the album release as well!
In Flames is Back !!! Thank you Mr. Stromblad.
Wow guys. Just wow. You took me back to the moment I first heard In Flames back in 99 when I picked up Colony at the store. The opening slide and riff of Embody the Invisible, that is the vibe of this song. Love it! Can't wait for the album!!
That's when I discovered In Flames as well, and I had that same feeling listening to this. Awesome song, and even better than the first single.
Mantappp pak abuuuu.. Hokni la kito nokkkk... Old in flames 💪✊

It's so nice to see Jesper back with Daniel and Peter. In Flames and Dark Tranquility were a huge part of my childhood and influential in my early days of guitar playing. I just found out about this project 10 minutes ago and I am so damn happy that this exists.
There must be an Earth in the multiverse where Mikael never left In Flames after their first album and this song is a single off their 13th or 14th album together.
Like...i feel you, but also probably wouldn't have had whoracle. And, ngl, that ones at the top of my list. That said id like to hear a cover of sorts of that album with a *more* "dark flames" feel. Move bjorn back to drums, bring in niklas for guitar, add martin on keys just because (and mixing of course)
Hell add anders too for co vocals in some way
@@polincgoku6658
Why? The lyrics and titles would just change, but the songs would remain, Anders is not a composer, maybe all the classic in flames albums would be even better with Michael's lyrics and vocals and the group definitely wouldn't turn into a commercial machine, but it is not known what would happen with the Dark Tranquillity in this case
@@nick6505 first off, i wasnt suggesting a hypothetical time travel scenario, i said id like to hear a cover of that album the way i did. None of that suggested anything towards everything in your reply past the first word. Hell, the answer to your question is even in my comment. The only thing that happened here was not understanding "cover". Ill refer literally to the album itself with the cover of depeche modes "everything counts"
@@polincgoku6658 I'd rather Glenn back on guitar actually. He fuckin' rips. The Resistance was killer.
@@vorpalblades 👀👀👀
I mean i see you. And i hear you. I cant quite disagree; ijs, for me, the way in which i designed this personal fantasy lineup for whoracle only where its more of an "enhanced original" as it were, as far as lineup and position. Like very few remakes of anything (cough clayman2020 cough) are any good. Some "meh" at best. We are all aware im sure.
In hypothetical land, id probably really enjoy both ideas simultaneously existing tbh..
Tangent: now im really tryna hear a better mix/reworking of borknagars "epic" for the exact same reasons
These guys making an album is everything i expected it to be and i love it.
The only thing i can say that.....after a lot of years of listening, playing this kind of music.......these guys are the best in the whole world. Whatever they got themselves into(musicwise) is puuuuure fuckin GOLD!!!!! This band came at the right time as a great fuckin savior and they did it. They fuckin did it. Bow to your magnificence gentlemen. Cant wait for the time to see them live in Greece.
Spettacolo! Arrangiamento super, riff bellissimi, Daniel che spacca la batteria, Jesper. Brividi!!
Quanto cazzo mi sono mancati....
I have this song on repeat and let it play for about an hour each time...lol. It's that engaging.
Got definitely some "Damage Done" Vibes
Based on the first Halo Effect I was a bit sceptical about this, but through this song I recognize the fire from within shining through the guys. Sure the guys are a bit older, but the passion to do this hasn't disappeared anywhere. Shine on, heroes of my youth, which have grown with me alongside since 1995. Thank you for so many indescribably awesome feelings, which you've been able to create within me - via In Flames, via Dark Tranquillity and now through this. 🙏
Well said dude
@@Thrasher_Abbatoir Thanks, dude! 🙏
It’s the underdogs against the world. Completely vibing with the lyrics. This world has turned insane.
In Jesper we trust 🖤🤟

Amagaad!! Eargasm is real. Its like In Flames going back to the roots. What a revival of older In Flames sound.
