i love how he just keeps whippin out the snakes lmao
How could people call the Elcho Island children's python ugly?!?!? That is one of the most gorgeous snakes I've ever seen!
They have no idea how incredible these pythons are
My favourite species of snake! I was lucky enough to pick up my very first marbled childrens yesterday.
Peter, I have to say from experience, that Anteresia is a fantastic species to work with. I have Maculosa and they have so many positives. Size, temperament, cool pattern, cool eyes, look great in the sun. I think they deserve more love here in the states. Anyways, keep up all the good work.
Wow, it was stunning to see all the colors live, right next to each other. Incredible. And I hope my girl ends up as tame as these snakes! She's a very high-strung youngling...
Thanks for sharing this species Peter! Love the passion!
It's a shame Australia outlawed their export, I'd like to have access to some of their exotic morphs. As it is I am glad we got plenty of the standard wild morphs before the ban. The standard wild example reminds me very much of a Green Anaconda the way it's colored and patterned. The Children's Python is such an underrated snake in the hobby. A much better choice for a lot of people than the ubiquitous Ball Python here in the States, they are smaller still, more active, and better eaters. They act exactly like a Reticulated Python, in the best little manageable package. I will be getting a baby soon!
I have a beautiful Little Children's Python she not long shed 2 days ago sandy colour with black silver and gold ish spot from head to tail and pure plain white body she is absolutely gorgeous cannot wait to see how dark she actually gets on top. She is roughly 2 and a half foot just shy of 3 foot atm.
Patternless children's are also found in the Katherine locality in the NT, I have a rescue one myself lol... but man oh man the marble ones are stunning
WOW Pete! That's simply amazing!
Thank you for sharing
Amazing video! Absoulty loved it! So many beautiful children's pythons
Cool Species and mutation of Children's Pythons
Beautiful little pythons!
Children pythons are so underrated! Hope to own one or two in my future!
"make sure they're siblings" oh? I didn't know you were into that kinda stuff Mr.Birch (; Lol.
what are you doing step-python D:
Very educational thanks for the video
Thanks heaps... what a great in site to these stunning beauties. In love with the patternless and have a few of my own, looking forward to seeing what they will produce this year and in the near future 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Glad you like them!
You have amazingly beautiful animals. Wish you could have some of those beauties. Unfortunately, I'm in Canada and they are not available here.
Very cool video! Just got a Marble Childrens, a very beautiful and amazing snake
take a shot every time he says animal
take a shot every time he grabs another python while already holding a bunch
Hey man i am so keen to buy one do you sell them or recommend a good breeder
I've been looking at Childrens Pythons, I know they're very underrated in the United States, but I think they're lovely little snakes! I'm in FL and have seen a few at expos and my local reptile shop (which gets in some unique stuff.) I just haven't been ready to take one home yet.
I wasn't sure if I should go for the Childrens, which seems the most common relatively speaking, or try for a Spotted or Stimsons. I like their head and eyes, and spotted pattern. I know we'll never really see morphs over here, but I think that's ok.
I'd hate to see these lovelies disappear due to unpopularity, since once they're gone over here we'll never get them back. I think unfortunately with the explosion of colors of ball python morphs, it's easy for natural-patterned snakes to be overlooked :( (I personally also love the Dumerils Boa- that's on my one day when I have more space list.) I think even the wild pattern of the ball python is lovely.
Hey mate can you do an update on the childrens morphs?
Do u breed and sell the snakes?
Do you have a website/Facebook page where we can see what you have for sale? Thanks.
Where can I get a children's python from in western australia
I have a 12x12x18 exo terra terrarium And was wondering if i could put a Childrens Python in it.
Hey guys! Great show again! :D
I was wondering, if your only aloud to keep animals from Australia in Australia, do you have problems with people taking animals from the wild?
It probably does happen but you would have to be pretty stupid to do since since most of our wild Australian snakes are highly venomous
Antaresias are wonderful pythons. I miss my adored late mac everyday: but my yearling Childrenii is the most affectionate python ever: chilled but gently curious, with an enigmatic mona lisa smile. Standard colouration like caramel melted onto latte... but even as an avowed fan of regular colour and pattern, i am taken by the divine marbled baby... My next snake, maybe 🐍
How about the snakes temperament? Do they make excellent pet snake like ball python?
Kenneth Reyes They are usually very friendly. Mine has never bitten me, but she was two when I got her. The babies always bite.
My baby, now juvenile, has never bitten. I'm aware of her feeding response and I treat her with respect so I think that's part of the reason.....but I personally have been bitten by more ball pythons than any other snake I've handled. Of course they were adult snakes I was unfamiliar with who didn't trust me yet, I understood and wasn't upset. Children's are wonderful snakes...so are rosy boa's.
I own one of these stunning and very intelligent pythons if I explain what a beautiful intelligent and emotionally capable python they are ppl will say “no way mate’ they are capable of in-printing on their owner mine has and it’s phenomenal what emotions he’s shown me one is he greets me every morning by pressing on my nose then lifts his head so I can scratch under his “chin” he looks for my robe (I leave it on my bed on purpose)soon as I grab it he goes nuts so he can hide in it when I’m wearing it other times he Hangs his body down the front of my chest so I can pat him if I stop he presses on my chest to continue we have been around each other in the same room every single day of his life he drinks on command when I tap on his drink bowl and especially when he’s in cycle it’s crazy there is so many more things he does many people say he definately has imprinted on me because of our interactions love your reptiles guys because they feel more than we think .cheers
Holy cow. How old was he when you got him? I have a 5 month old…she is a little fire cracker! I can’t imagine being able to handle her like that yet. We are working on target training now.
We're are you in Australia
🐍😍
love it, ball python kinda ball park, if you know what I mean?
👍
sir is there any tortoise abilable in Australia
Plenty.
lmao
Ofc I-
Oi Pete!! Where’s the update mate??
Can I keep 2 male children’s pythons together? I love mine so much but idk if I could share his enclosure with another snake if I got one
You could but there is a chance they may eat each other, I prefer to keep them separate
CrittaCam ok thank you 😊
Bella Wingrove DONT DO IT
Ivy Phan ahaha nah I won’t they would probably want their own space anyway, and I would be too worried for my current snake who is the sweetest thing, if they did fight, he probably wouldn’t fight back so I would be too worried
hey if people tried would they beable to breed a childrens cross jungle python
Lachlan Caulfield no they are two completely different species of snake, that's like breeding a eagle with an owl
Just watch one bite Brian Brychk lol
RIP 🎧
How did you not get bit? Mine tag me every time, and often then try to eat me. Still love them...but they are jerks LOL
I want.
although this comment was only made 9 months ago, i regret even typing that.
My children's python is het T+ albino. He's gonna be breed a T+ albino when he gets older
I want a pet snake
So sad that you are only interested in their looks. This is NOT a complete guide at all. No care tips, no description of their natural environment, no details in breeding characteristics besides their coloring.
Plenty of other videos available on UA-cam if that's what you're after. This video was about their breeding lines and genetics.
