While my NV binocs is not the same brand, it is essentially the same unit and uses six AA's. I am using Kentli 3000 mwh Lithium rechargeables. They do not slowly lose voltage as they discharge. These are regulated to hold a solid 1.5 volts until the lithium cell reaches discharge, at which point they will turn off to prevent damage to the cell. They work just fine in this application. You must use the Kentli charger which you can buy as a package, charger plus AA's. You can always keep some alkalines as backup if you manage to use up the charge in the Kentlis.
Seems like a good product,. For me it's about Night Land navigation... Hunting, conservation efforts. And also. Security... All of which are important too me. This product might be what i need..
i purchased a digital camera night vision binocular with audio too and i think its important to beable to comment on what your doing and looking at with your device.
Can you use a powerbank by itself to power the device or does the rechargeable batteries have to be in there too? Curious cause I might just permanently attach a small bank on it.
I turned them on and they will not go past the initial screen. Any suggestions on what to do with it? And the. Won’t shut off so far not real impressed unless I’m the idiot.
I hope when i finally get mine it will be worth the wait...this whole process of ordering has taken over a week and still have no tracking number or any update on whether shipped or not...
@@outerlimitless I just bought one of these tonight. Pleas do some more instructional videos. I want to learn to record, then down load it to a laptop.
Its infrared. The light in not visible to the naked eye. The way these NVG’s work is it has a special camera that can see the infrared. Basically it’s invisible light and the binoculars camera makes it visible to you
I saw in the video that you had someone go into the scene in the dark with the IR mode and it looked great but will this help me spot birds, like owls in the trees?
If you want to watch stars, you're going to need something that either abilities light, or catches way more light. I'd suggest the sionyx or analog gen 2 or higher.
I have the same pare just under a different name got it cheaper and after I bought mine I found it cheaper then a hundred bucks so search before u buy it is a nice and clear works nice but creative price is to much
You can also order directly from them. I purchased a monocular and i must say, it's pretty good. At some stage, i will purchase the elite or pro but thats some way off.
Too bad this Creative XP doesn't come with a 940nm IR illuminator that is invisible to humans and animals, the included 850nm IR illuminator is very visible and bright.
It's something to play with and dial in...I found at certain ranges the infra-red strength didn't make a difference...so dialing it down will probably aid in better battery life as you mentioned.
We’re going to Big Bend in a couple of weeks ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxSt0aBrzyS1nxONvwm1e0u7ZDFD_eypAO so I bought these to use during the hikes, didn’t want to miss anything. As you can see by the photos I tested the phone adapter by taking a phone of a power pole on the next block and you can see the results. It took a couple of minutes to line the phone camera up to the eye piece, there’s a bit of a learning curve, but once it was longed up it stayed in place without any issues. So far I’m impressed with the feel and the weight, the neck strap is wide and soft so it feels good on my neck. I look forward to using it with my friend and grandson in Big Bend!
Well, he *is* demonstrating a product that has a lot of detail and information that goes along with it. He needs to talk a lot. People always have many, many questions about night scopes. It's a good thing that he *does* talk a lot. Because he has to cover as much ground as he can and go over as much information as possible. As a result, this man is going to end up doing A LOT of talking.😃👍
Yes... being 19 minutes of detail is a lot of talking. I try not to cover the same details more than once unless it needs clarification or more detail... but my videos are generally very detailed and on the longer side. I review for people who are actually interested in a potential purchase... not just a bunch of pretty pictures.
@@outerlimitless I left the op a comment explaining why you "talk so much". I'm hoping they understood.😊👍 Love your videos, the tutorials, demonstrations, *everything* ! And I love the ring on your left hand!😃💕😺🍀
That's *incredibly* rude. It wouldn't be very nice at all if somebody walked up to you and said, "What's wrong with your face? Do you have Down's Syndrome?"
Good job thank you. I just got mine in today. Please let me know if or when you do the field test. I hope to get in the woods tonight.

So how do you like them?
Can you use a powerbank by itself to power the device or does the rechargeable batteries have to be in there too? Curious cause I might just permanently attach a small bank on it.

How do I add SOUND to Creative IR binoculars? Is there a intelligent part to have audio on my EXCELLENT videos?
Love creative XR for ufo search videos! I have awesome videos, but if I could have the audio of Owls, Bugs, even military planes! I need SOUND.
Night vision will always be fun
I'm really looking forward to further testing. I think it will be pretty fun! I have some nice IR flashlights on the way for testing purposes.
@@outerlimitless or one of those military strobes. Although I feel like the ones u commonly see for sale are probably from the 90s and super outdated.
Dude you are the man, failed in my first purchase but this is exactly what I needed thank you !!
Get a nice compact and light tripod for it. Benro makes a nice carbon fiber tripod for like $110 maybe. It'll help a lot
Also... they are rumored to have a new version with improved recording resolution...and I think sensor
Any comparison between this an the Hojocojo Night vision googles?
I haven't really done much in the way of side-by-side comparisons
in 100 years they will look at this and marvel at how ridiculously bulky it was, just like the first cell phones lol
Very true@
100? How long did it take for folks to make fun of phone size😂 in 20 from now, it’ll just be Night vision Contacts…
Exactly, these IR binoculars work well. It’s just trying to set date or upload videos to my iPad, neither is easy. So difficult!
_Amazing review, very informative, thanks!_
Many of these stop working after a few months. I just saw a video on one that stopped after three weeks.
How do you set PROPER DATE/TIME?
Is the IR light visible with the naked eye? I want these for airsoft and I’m wandering if it will give me away
@@Jacksonboyeroutdoors the IR is red on the device but only on the device

Nicely done. Thank u sir 👍🏾
what is the cost of this can i get this for cheap price with in 200$
how are they for sky watching

Hi nice video can you wondering if you can read maps and letters clearly
The problem is that they are binoculars so they focus far out. I almost wish they had less zoom at times
what is that green ring on your finger
It's a silicone Groove ring
@@outerlimitless what is it for
Can these be mounted to a head set?

This unit has an 850nm IR illuminator, very visible to the human eye and to animals. 940nm IR illuminators are invisible, I wish this had one.
Great vidio! What is the price on this bino?
I saw in the video that you had someone go into the scene in the dark with the IR mode and it looked great but will this help me spot birds, like owls in the trees?
I would think yes if you had a tripod and you were steady and knew where to look.
They also make a great monocular too...
This one is pretty cool too.👍🏻🍻🕯
Nice dear any other good one may b new modal because I see ye viedo after 7 months thanks
How are these for stargazing?
They're only as effective as the range of the IR emitter. Not really good for stars
Just wondering when will the part two come out
I'm hoping to film this upcoming weekend if things go well.
Ok thanks
How well can you see the stars with these?
If you want to watch stars, you're going to need something that either abilities light, or catches way more light. I'd suggest the sionyx or analog gen 2 or higher.

Someone did a test, and found the IR reaches close to 400-600 ft away
The low point is the bundle of bateries :(. Thanks for share.
Yes, that sorta sucks...wish these units had built in lithium.
I wish you would of gave examples of your woodpile and your neighbors house in YARDS so I could get a better example of how far these reach out.
150 feet to neighbors maybe...
Like I said...this was first impressions. I have a full use review in the works.
You don't have a range finder to say how many yards/metres ? What the he'll does 4 lots mean to anyone but yourself
I do now...didn't then.
Let us know if you spot any Unidentified Airlial Phenomena! 😏
You're not kidding! These days, it's not out of the question!
I just saw one..It’s asking for you who was enquiring about it
It's called packing oils, to protect it from condensation & dampness.
Good call! Thanks for watching!
@@outerlimitless And thanks for posting!
CHEERS!
You didn't show the distance as in feet or yards that's important
battery pack you use to jump your car or phone has a port and NO NEED BATTIERS ever again
Another one!!! WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST.
Yep, that makes sense, but sometimes it's the heat of the battle. You know what I mean?
👍👍👍
AUDIO???
If it doesn't have a built in mic you'll need an audio recording device and you need to sync the audio in post production in an editing software.
There are quite a few similar products available on Ebay and AliExpress, all look like made on the same factory in China.😒
would have been better with audio sound.
I agree...the newer models of products have sound.
