Simple and clear review, thx.
Can you hold that rubber hood against your face just like you would regular binoculars and still focus? I just don't want something I have to hold out in front of me. I would rather a regular pair of binoculars with night vision. But they all seem to made with the screen now. Problem for me is I wear progressive lenses so if I have to hold it way out in front me I will have to tilt my head up in the air to look thru the bottom of my glasses. Great video.
I think it depends on the individual's eyes. I can focus with my head against the rubber but it is slightly easier for me if I move it away about an inch. It's hard to say how progressive lens would work with this.
Cool gadget. Sucks that you can’t use rechargeable batteries, especially since it takes a lot of them. I imagine they discharge rather quickly as well. I wonder if you could get away with using certain types of rechargeable batteries like the lithium ion kind which might have higher power output.
I was thinking the same thing about the lithium batteries. I have never used them but I'm guessing some output right at 1.5v.
Can someone see the light coming from it in total darkness ?
It depends. It is very subtle. If a person wasn't looking for it, they probably wouldn't notice. On the other hand, the screen you look at has a backlight. You might want to place a cloth over your head and the rear of the binoculars to stop any light leakage from there.
you didnt show distance view or sky view, cheers.
Bit of a shitty comment, cheers.
