    I have a suggestion, NASCAR needs to suspend drivers and/or teams for a race or two if they do any more manipulations whatsoever. If NASCAR doesn't do anything about that, then this is considered as a joke!

    NASCAR is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Bell violated a rule everyone knew about to keep his advantage and nascar did the right thing. Meanwhile, NASCAR needs to stomp the 1, 3 and 23 into the ground for even having the gall to manipulate a race like they did. They’re not afraid of nascar anymore. They just blatantly say it over the radio and the drivers obeyed because they’re not afraid of them. Suspend all three and don’t even let the cars run at phoenix. The sponsors should take care of the rest.

    Thank you for finally mentioning the David Gilliand and Joey Logano part of Spingate in a video for once. Obviously their part gets overlooked by what Michael Waltrip Racing did, however I think what MWR did plus what Logano and Gilliand did is the reason why Jeff Gordon got added into the Chase.

    Most of these weren't even manipulation. It's a team sport, I want to see the teams work together. There is nothing wrong with holding somebody up or not passing a teammate. I want to see NASCAR allow people to fall back, it's quite entertaining. I found zero race manipulation at Martinsville, 1/3 do not have to pass the 24 under any interpretation of the "100% rule" and if the 23 thinks he has a tire going down, he should be allowed to slow, if not people will drive fast with flats and crash in the future. What the 20 did also doesn't meet the definition of "wall ride". It was a clean race and there shouldn't have been any penalties.

    I believe that the sure way to stop this is to stop teams. Nascar should only allow 1 car per owner and no alliances between other teams. anyone caught breaking these rules should be suspended from nascar and not permitted to be at or inside any nascar track for one year no questions asked. That may be harsh but who or what owner wants to be suspended for a whole year.

  • @brokensmilephoto
    @brokensmilephoto 2 місяці тому +3

    How come you don't have the radio from Hendrick with the Bell DQ? Because they were also manipulating the race to get 3 of their cars in. All I've learned from this video is if you drive for "nascar royalty families" you get to do whatever you want. And if you are in a Toyota (ironically, more American than the other 2 manufactures) how dare you do anything wrong. NASCAR and the FIA should really just start hosting races together because they are both trash and have ruined their own series year in. They would rather make a scripted or near scripted soap opera out of the races than just give the tools for good racing. And that's why I'll always watch the NTT Indy Series (which has been nothing short of amazing the last few years) and the IMSA races. I hate that DIffy parted ways to join NASCAR too. Season ender wasn't the same with out his constant panic in voice.

    Dodge was smart to leave NASCAR. The sport was ruined with all of the ridiculous rules changes over the years. Nowadays the rules keep changing to benefit Toyota, put up until Toyota entered NASCAR, They would change the rules anytime general motors couldn't win. Even calling it NASCAR is a joke. None of the cars on the track resemble stock cars in the least.

    Well rules are rules I guess. But Bell did ride the wall. With no attempt to get off the wall. He road the wall through turn 3 and turn 4. As far as blocking or judt giving up a spot. Has gone on for decades. This is nothing new. Now this doesnt make it right. Its just the way it is. And today with most of the Chevy's loyal to Hendrick and with Toyota's all being basicly a JGR team. And lets not forget Ford's all being loyal to Penske. My point is, with all these large teams you will never get rid of blocking or giving up a position.

    i don't think hamlin holding up chastain for a couple laps is race manipulation. that's called payback. if it was the last lap, and he did it so another car could pass chastain to make it into the playoffs or something like that, then it would be manipulation.

    Fix the number on the car along with the crappy points system and let the shops build the cars like it supposed to be. And fire all the morons in charge.😊

      @MMCS07 my 2 cents of course, the real people who like racing actually would like to see a person earn a championship with the season point system. Not something manipulated.
