If I really tweak the settings and make it look like a ps2 game I can get 60 fps in starfield on my steam deck, there is input lag, it looks like 8 bit playdough but you know 60 fps 😂😂😂
There’s plenty of other great games that run far better on the Deck. I’d recommend to play this one on PC/Xbox instead if you have a choice, anything lower than 30fps AND with potato graphics is just not worth it
@frohemilchmann4821 I feel ya. I have a pretty capable laptop I think I'll play it on. As for the deck, I'm gonna pick up Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth cuz I loved the previous game and it runs so good on the Deck. Thanks for the warnings. Might just stick with Oblivion and FO3 on the Deck. Cheers
Why arent you using frame gen? it dosent look to bad i have my deck set to 60fps and in game settings dynamic resolution 50 frame gen on fsr balaned/quality sharpening 5 vrs on and get above 50fps if not a locked 60 everywhere apart from your usual suspects like akilla and alpha century
@@ranevane12 yes but first you should check to see if it runs properly performance-wise. All steam games can be downloaded onto the Steam Deck but not all can run properly. That’s what my channel is about, to see if games can run properly on the Steam Deck and the best settings. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :)
Plus who said it can't be upgraded just have a look out there you've got screen mods, ssd upgrades, ram upgrades I'd say it's not far off a laptop when it comes to upgrading
Hi thanks for watching! Please let me know what you think of the video or suggest more games for me to show :)
@@HandheldVideoGames1 could you test out spacebourn 2?
@@optimalbonkerz Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look and add it to my to-do list :)
Guys remember 23 FPS you can achieve on less demanding locations... in cities like New Atlantis or Akilla expect tanking to numbers around 15 FPS
Last time I played on my steam deck I had an average of 34 fps in akila city, but the stutters and frame time were to bad I unistalled
This really doesn't look too bad
amazing experience… on low settings and 23fps 😳
lol gotta work with what we’ve got plus it’s all relative

I'm considering picking this up for my Steam Deck but I'm not sure. Price still seems high even with the discount.
Yeah they could’ve decreased it a bit more tbh
It runs very badly unless you are in buildings or space combat but if your ok with 20fps go ahead I’m not personally

You better read the reviews before you will cry...

Jedi survivor might be a good shout if you have it
Yeah I have that game thanks for the suggestion, I’ll add it to my to-do list for the channel 😀

Also switch vsync off and set frames to unlocked in game
And half rate shading and screen tearing on in the steam settings sorry 😂
Thanks for the advice I appreciate it and will take it on board 👍
How can play it on steamdeck it doesn’t say it’s compatible
Hi, some games can be played even though it says they’re not compatible. Some just probably don’t load properly altogether
@@HandheldVideoGames1 if I were the purchase the video game through steam on my steamdeck it can download regardless of the compatibility?

Unplayable
A handheld pc that cant be upgraded is probably the worst thing you can buy if your money matters to you.
A handheld which is highly supported, by both the huge community and valve itself with frequent updates, is probably the best you can buy
