A horrific amount of Artillary and Mortar fire....as a Veteran injured during a sustained mortar and rocket attack I can testify to the uncomfortable nature of these things incoming. When you find bundles of clips together these would have been laid out on top (or scratched out ledge near the top) of the trench at regular fire positions and often lost when covered by shell fire. The soil is great for digging, very loose and sandy. Most items have held up well. I can identify some of your finds but it would be nice if you posted what they were. Your machine goes crazy deep for targets, that's awesome. Free set of vintage pots! Any thoughts on why they were so deep? Cool old picks X2. Congrats on your finds.
+Metal Dog Digger thanks for the comment! Well usually trenches were about the human height so Im guessing thats why the cooking gear is so deep. It was a good day of detecting. Cant wait to clean them all up.

here on my last hunt I only found 53 rusian casings, 5 bullets, 6 clips and oto granade pieces
You never know but yes That is why I use TM cause he only sees the big stuff.
