    Thank you so much for this video. You are the only one who has shown a picture on how the throttle spring works. I really appreciate that!

      For real, I've been looking all over for something that shows how that stupid spring works. This dude is a legend.

    I just got a new one not long ago and boy do I like it. It is very comfortable to use, largely due to the anti-vibration type handle that you just took apart and fixed. Thanks for the insight into the innards of the handle and throttle mechanism. Now I know how it works without having to take it apart myself.

    I bought the 525LST last year and it had the new rubber bushing and clamp assembly. I bought a 2021 525LK last week and it had the old assembly. The 525LK had a noticebly looser feeling handle.

    A little trick I used when putting it back together was to put a little glue on the rubber button bushings to hold it in place so that yo

      Heck yea. I used it last week.Still perfect.Like another trimmer its so nice.I now have my eye on a 535ls :)

    • @crazyjdkid
      @crazyjdkid 6 років тому

      eXterminator A 535ls is a nice trimmer, but definitely overkill! What would you need a 35cc trimmer for, you cutting brush!?! Lol I always question your wants! You always skip the Honda 4 Stroke one, mine is a beast and I couldn't imagine going back to 2 stroke! You should do an action vid with this trimmer now that you fixed it!

    • @exterminator1
      @exterminator1  6 років тому

      crazyjdkid it will be my new biweekly hillside trimmer.i was going to get a 131.but the 535 prob ne in my hand soon and I will decide.now the echo2620t is plenty strong enough.it is the same weight as t hi e 535 almost lol.echo heavy.so if I am going to use a heavy trimmer I want the strongest.no 4strokes for me.unless it's a 4mix.if husky let's me demo one I will try it out.i def want to try every trimmer made in every brand.but I have become more partial to husky.especially knowing they fixed my problem.

    I have been using the crap out of the 525 LS trimmers we now have at work. Not a big fan. I believe they vibrate more than the Stihl FS100RX's we have and they dont have nearly as much power as the stihls. I wonder how much better a LST would be over the LS though

    • @exterminator1
      @exterminator1  6 років тому +2

      i never used the ls.I wanted the torque model. I would say they are a lot better though.But it is not as powerful as my 2520t.but for its weight its very strong.plus solid shaft.echo should have one in the 2620.heck all trimmers should have solid shafts imo.no vibration hardly on this one now.those stihl 4strokes are very smooth.2 strokes vibrate a lot more as you know.2 stroke fires every stroke and 4 every other.so half the number of explosions.plus weight of course.and rpm is higher causing even more vibration.So compared to the 94r it has less vibration now.of course the 94r doesn't have much vibration at all to begin with.i never had a vibration problem even with the broke handle.just put me in a bind and hurt! lol see got me talking trimmers.i cant shut up when someone talks trimmers lol

    • @BioHazardra
      @BioHazardra 6 років тому

      lol gotcha started didnt i? haha yea i didnt think about the 2 stroke running rougher than a 4 stroke. makes sense

    • @chrisgoodwin8146
      @chrisgoodwin8146 6 років тому

      Been using the lst for 2 years, it has a lot more torque than the ls. Hence the "t". UA-cam some reviews, I'm buying a new one next week.

    So the triggers aren't actually flimsy, they're just made of an excessively flexible plastic.

    If thoes gear boxes are getting hot to were you caint hold your hand on it after useing it then you have too much grease in it they one need enuff to coat the gears and that’s it any more and it starts sucking your horsepower up

    The other way, is just take the 3 Allen head screws at the top and the remove the motor unit with clutch and all. Guess u were afraid to mess up the engine part, but u done did it backwards.

    Do yourself a favor.....go to Wal-Mart.....and get yourself a cheap 30 dollar tripod. Make your life so much easier man. I used to be the same way aways juggling crap in videos but now I won't even try to. My videos go alot smoother with one around. It just says in the shop for when I need it.
