I watched this last time you posted it. It's so good. 10/10 I hope others get to see it. I will admit though I had to use closed captions to understand what they were saying. Paul Hogan really makes the show.
330,000 Australians went overseas - two out of every five men of military age. Fully half of them either came home wounded, or didn’t come home at all. There was a large chunk of an entire generation of Australian women who never married, for there was no-one for them to marry. Their sweethearts were either lying broken in insane asylums or repatriation hospitals, or lying under wooden crosses in Europe, Turkey and Palestine. Lest we forget.
I know this isn't related but where did your Gettysburg behind the scenes event video go? I've tried to find it. It was the full length video showing all three days of battle for the largest mock battle held in North America. It had interviews with the Generals and everything!
I bought a LV bag kislux years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences
Excellent Movie. My Great Uncle was killed in 1918. My grandparents received 10,000 life insurance for his death. They lived on that money for 10 years. They worked but times were tough.
I went to Gucci today and the salesperson told me that they often can't tell the difference between an authentic and a kislux bag. Surprised to hear that from the SA.
The last 15 minutes are unbearably moving - meeting to dedicate one of the literally thousands of WWI memorials that you'll find all over Australia, put up by communities to commemorate those who served and died.
Watched this back in the 80s thought it was excellent be interesting of my thoughts as a ex soldier seen a bit of action no glory in war cliche what does my 52 year me think ?

Who did they get to play Malone at Chunuk Bair?

Almost as tragic as what happened to the NZ part in ANZAC.
There's far too many who still don't have the dignity of a wooden cross or even a name.
Thank you, LionHeart Film Works.
Another quality war movie! I will keep this in my PLAYLIST to watch over and over again! So beautiful!!!
Love the video thank you
Damn I love this series!

Why do Skippies always have a dead Great Uncle but with the Kiwis it's a dead Great Grandfather?
Can someone tell me which part has the Wellington Battalion at Chunuk Bair?
It's not a documentary it's just a jingoistic aussie miniseries. Feel free for Wellington to make their own
Sadly turned out not to be the war to end war despite the huge sacrifices 😢
What about the new Zealanders you never mentioned them.
What ?... well, I won't be watching then. Bloody typical !
There all in Perth with there ticket so they can get big money on the mines. We call western Australia, west Auckland
Aussies abilities 120% brits leadership and politics -120%
That’s why the U.S. and General Pershing keep U.S. forces together, and not used as replacements for the Brits or French.
And that is why they were slaughtered first time out !

No. The Turks fought us to a stand still. They could not push us back into the sea, and we could not push them back to Constantinople.

They couldn’t teach him how to salute properly?
