Well, Paul already suggested a solution for the gap between the wagons. Another could be, as you mentioned, to fill a part of it with a gangway. And finally, a third and an anthropological solution, could be to glue a lot of figurines on the couplings, wagons ends and roof, just like we can see in mystical reality of Indian railways. Tons of people glued everywhere on the roof, ends, edges of the wagon. I guess it would be also something realistic and original, I haven't seen any modeler doing this.... kind of magic, lol. Thanks for the video, Erik, beautiful loco and the wagons aren't bad at all, too! Nice evening!
@@Cristake1974 O yes, the human corridors 😃 I saw Hornby teak coaches this evening and they have prolongued corridor balges. Probably too long, but better than a huge gap. I remember your solution with data ribbon. Maybe available online in China. Shorter couplers is only very limitedly possible, they can cause derailments. Thanks for your ideas and for watching the video!
I found some old telephone cable in a box. It's not ribbed, it's a single cable, but flat, so something like 3 mm by 6 mm. Ad soon as I find time, I will give it a try.
@@railway187 Some rectangular shape made of styrene (or balsa, or some solid material) with the dimensions of the door which would have the corridor/gangway might help, when bending that cable to form the rectangular corridor. I managed to make one with bare hands/fingers, but it was easier bending the ribbon on the styrene shape. Good luck!
Ciao Erik i think the best to do is not change the carriages, if the locos motor G have some problems you can replace the motor with a CD motor 12 volts and add lights best greetings alberto 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Erik, These Ho 33 Diesels are great looking locos in the green and white livery. Its not easy to shorten the Ho couplings without major surgery, you could try fitting Nem pockets and use shorter couplings but its quite a task to do it. Cheers, Paul. 👍👍🙏
@@paulvozman842 Maybe I could find bogies that sit closer to the coach body and have shorter couplers. But I have quite a few of these coaches, it won't be easy to find such a lot of bogies. Thanks for your reaction and for watching the video!
