Props to LGG for sending out a 2nd review unit that’s worse in coating than it’s 1st review unit.
a lot of others complained that the coating attracted fingerprints. so they made the coating worse on purpose bc people were annoying about it
id kinda wish that (assuming they wouldnt go back to the previous coating) theyd keep the super-sticky coating on white units. i only get endgame gear mice in white and never had fingerprint issue
@@TMKM attracting fingerprints is hilarious, considering anyone should be more worried with sweaty hands. Just get a microfiber cloth and wipe the thing every now and then between matches, it’s not that hard. Chalky cheap coating is an insult when you pay that much for a mouse.
Looks like LGG got screwed by the factory big time. Unfortunate. I would imagine they probably won't be going to the same factory after this is over sheesh

Can't compare to the Attack Shark V3. I paid £33.99 and it's exposing just what a HUGE scam prices are from 'big name' brands. I've always known but reviewers need to get on the side of the consumers and start calling out the ABSURD prices.... (Zowie EC2-CW £££££££££ LMFAOOOOOOOO) the prices are a total scam and folk are utterly brainwashed....
My two biggest gripes with the mouse are definitely the coating and the side buttons.
I asked Lethal if they plan on improving the side buttons, and unfortunately they said no, as the factory didn’t want to change the mold for the mouse.
Very sad to see the rubberized coating go, this current one is not very good in my opinion.
I did also have the click squeaking issue, but I just solved that by lubing the plunger with 205g0 lol.
The thing is, the M3S isn’t actually way too close to the LA-1 in terms of shape, as the hump feel is very different.
Overall though, I love the LA-1, as the shape and the click feel are top tier for me at least.
Ugh I'm a little apprehensive now on keeping my order if the coating sucks and the side buttons are whatever too. With so many good options I shouldn't have to compromise at this price range

Software looks pixel identical to darmoshark N3 software. Not surprising, it's probably pixart generic and same manufacturer, and it seems to have no problems at all to me
Not impressed by how Motospeed has treated LGG. It certainly looks like they were more focused on releasing their own similar mouse vs properly fulfilling the LGG contract. Never buying Moto/Darma products. I hope LGG finds a REAL partner.

I wouldn’t say the M3S is better really. I have both an LA-1 and an M3S, and I’d say that other than the side button feel, I prefer the LA-1 in every regard.
Even then, I’d personally still get an LA-1 just to support LGG

@@PaneledPear the mold on the M3S pro is likely still the same, so the LA-1 beats it in terms of click feel, scroll, and arguably shape.
