    I do the same, but I use Velcro strips instead of tape.

    That works Dan but eventually you have an ever twisting tighter cord.
    The best way is to remove the twists your cord then bring both ends together (prefer plugging them together to protect the blades) then wind the cord up your way.
    What's happening is, as you loop 2 wires side by side the twists cancel each other out. Also you have less chance of making a 'BirdNest'. (Thank you, thank you very mush)
