I've been using a backpack vacuum at work lately and the cord is about 75' long. This way of wrapping up cords has been so helpful in saving me time in not having to unravel them every night. Thanks!
Thanks, big guy for All you do this helps a lot my repair man ask to borrow my cord it was a mess I bet he wished he never ask so this is especially helpful to me thanks again!!!!
Its like youtube knew what I was thinking! Ery glad this was in my feed! And Matthew Major is a hater cause he wasn't smart enough to put up his video first 🙄
Doesn't work if the person is left handed... been a electrician over 20 years and will not let a lefty roll any of my cords up... wire is made and has a right twist so a lefty will try to un-twist which causes the core to knot up
This is completely untrue. I’m lefty and my whole crew is too (weird fluke) we just have to reverse how the wire is handed off to the other hand. It’s still possible to wind them correctly.
My journeyman told me on my first day that if I didn't learn to wrap cord properly by Wednesday to not come back to work. The "elbow" method is for hacks. Also, you shouldn't be pluging in your cords.
Haha lol , that was the first way I learned when my boss showed me how to wrap a cord, and then I learned the violin method from a co worker. Watching you tube over under method is great because you can throw it and comes out straight.
Unwind supper easy or freaking make many knots in the line. I only coil under over for about 4 years now. You love and hate this method. But when done right, you can throw a 100' cord and it will not make a massive tangle in the air.
I would fire my helper for wasting time and stressing the chord. Then I would make him walk it all the way out long and flat and roll it up correctly and don’t tie knots in it and don’t hang it from one place it will break.
It is not true that everyone knows how to do with the extensions so that they do not get tangled! But whatever is the one who is teaching how to do it, he is very handsome !! 😁😁
The elbow method is 10x better. Been doing it for years. It's a lot quicker and keeps the cord from tangling. Just don't go too tight or you'll lose your arm 😂
I don't know what's going on in your end but I've been in the cleaning and carpet cleaning business for over 15 years and never once had one break from the elbow method.... And why did you like your own comment?

This only works if you have a cord that hasn’t been twisted already.
True! 👍
I just found out, lol
Thanks my dad works all the time and he likes his shed to be clean but he never taught me how to roll it up
Thank you Ben afleck
This is exactly how we wrap in the production industry lol I've seen people sent home for not wrapping cords correctly when it was showtime lmao
We do this in film but they'll usually have a piece of stage cord to tie it ip at the end
Thanks, big guy for All you do this helps a lot my repair man ask to borrow my cord it was a mess I bet he wished he never ask so this is especially helpful to me thanks again!!!!
Good explanation.
🙏 thank you Francisco
Thank you man
All of the smart old school guy's do it that way,, now i do
👍🤩💝 I have been trying to do this one I just can’t do it. 😩
Me 30 minutes ago😄
Me 30 minutes later 😩
I don’t know why I can’t do it.😭😞
tq for sharing
I get it!❤
How I do it is just grab one end then rap it from my hand to my elbow on the same arm
I was gonna say the same thing.. 10x faster and neater.
He's showing how to do it without causing it to twist
Yeah and cause all kinds of twist in the cord and eventually cause it to stop working.
Most people will not catch on.
I’ve coiled double welding leads for years on the floor and people still don’t catch on.
Its like youtube knew what I was thinking! Ery glad this was in my feed!

How to tangle an extension cord 101
Wat a bird's nest.. Haha
tips from 2001.
i guess america is far far away of moneys

Every electrician knows this lol
Figure 8 is better
The concept put a twist in the next wrap and remove the twist keeping the cord in a natural state.
Every person in the world knows this ! Next week guys how to breath on your own !!!
You'd be surprised how many people don't.
I'm pretty sure I work with all of them.

The first wrap already has memory. Over-unders are for media/data cables. Is this a prank?
Beta ye to tum aaj sikha rhe ho yeh apn bachpn se krte aa rhe hai

There is only one way to roll up an extension cord, and this aint it...
😞😞😞😞
😂
You're cute, lol
Lol

It’s a lot better if you want to be out buying new cords when you inevitably destroy them with the elbow method
I don't know what's going on in your end but I've been in the cleaning and carpet cleaning business for over 15 years and never once had one break from the elbow method....
And why did you like your own comment?
@@yuma_da_puma but are your cords twisted like noodles? if so thats why
Wrong
This is not a good way to roll a cord.
And ruin you’re chord. You do things almost good but then prove you’re inexperienced all so obviously.
OR just buy battery operated tools and fuck those extension cords forever.
Terrible method, please never do this to your cords
