The correct way to roll up an extension cord depends on what line of work you are in and whose cord it is. I f you rolled “my” cord up the way you this one I would beat you with it. To do it the way you did is sort of the way my grandpa wanted his rolled up because he worked with a lot of millwrights and that was their chosen way. You did however roll it from the wrong end. Fold it in half and then roll it from the center to the ends. It gets rid if the twists. My father was a lineman. He wanted his rolled from the male end giving it a twist to make it lay in a nice circle.
