I’ve heard so many people say “that comic died too soon” but I’ve never heard comedians who said what they say about Patrice, that he was on the cusp of blowing himself out of the water. He was almost there. Dude died leaving us like his girl. Wanting more from him but not being able to. 😅

He would never have reached the mainstream. To reach the mainstream you have to sell your soul and tone yourself down.
      He wouldn't do that.

He wud have never went mainstream like kevin did. Raw and brutally honest ppl never make it that big. He wud have made it like Corey Holcomb bt bigger in that aspect. Funny af, blunt af, raw af, bt doin his own thing. His podcast wud have definitely been huge bt not mainstream.

Just listening to this interview gives off vibes that Patrice was an extremely intelligent and intellectual comic. It Gives waves to the fact that his material was so successful in changing the way people think about life and relationships. I was literally fascinated by this dude’s brilliance and way of seeing things years before he passed away. On top of him being one of the most naturally funny human beings to ever walk the planet. I remember days of searching UA-cam trying to find any new footage of this dude 😂Patrice was like that playground basketball legend that actually could’ve been better than Michael Jordan, but because of certain decisions they made, certain unfortunate breaks in their lives, or in Patrice’s case, dying at a young age, they never made it to that top stage to be able to showcase and prove it over an extended period of time.
