Thanks for uploading this. Patrice, a rare unbridled comedy genius. Love and Light Patrice, thanks for all the joy and laughs and thought provoking... provoking- You are a Legend to us lucky few in the know!
You caught those hashtags. Who knew that there was more time? Idk, thank you.
Thank you for this!!!! I never seen the whole interview just the small clips of this interview!!! I’m the biggest Patrice O’Neal Fan!!!!! 🙏 thank u my friend!!!
Damn wish he was still here today, especially with the way the world is now, would be nice to hear someone who spoke with honesty and fearlessness. Sad he left just months after this. R.i.p
This was great! I've been a fan since I saw him on Tough Crowd. One of my favorite things about Patrice is how he delivers a joke that makes most people in the crowd uncomfortable and then he laughs and then everyone else does because his laughter makes people loosen up. RIP one the most absolute elite comics ever.
Patrice O'neal is the literal antithesis of Jimmy Fallon.
That's why this is so funny to watch.
Why are so many people dunking on Fallon in these comments? Fallon is the one that had Patrice on his show, doesn't that count for something?
@@JoeyJojoJrJr he's just easybto hate. Personally I like his show and shit this segment
@@JoeyJojoJrJr Plus Patrice really gave him props in this interview, which was really cool to see. Imagine how good that must've felt from someone who's such a notorious, merciless ball buster to just build you up on national TV like that.
The interview was supposed to be much longer, but Jimmy felt uncomfortable having Patrice say what he said and dominating the entire conversation.
He didn't get to do enough of his bullshit fake laughs cause Patrice would've called him out on that nonsense and fucked his reputation up.
You can see how surprised Patrice was at the end with Fallon ending the interview, he knew Jimmy was uncomfortable and that cracked Patrice up!
RIP, Mr. P. You saved a bunch of people with your advice, and we'll all continue coming back to you here on UA-cam to keep your legacy alive.
I actually think Patrice had enough social intelligence not to call out Jimmy on the air like that. He knew when to lay it on but I doubt he would shame a fellow talk show host like that
@@Sealwithwificonnection i agree, hes a smart guy. he knew just gave him some shit on the side there, but he got it.
He only had 6 minutes allotted and Jimmy made sure they didn't go over 1 second more. That's why Patrice was like 6 minutes already??
@@troyrichardson8787 Oh, really? I just felt like other guests get a much longer interview time and Patrice got rushed. But it's good to know that wasn't the case.
@@Majystic17 He did rush him in the sense that he wasn't going to give him anymore that what was allotted. More of a way out than anything
Patrice really just took over the whole thing while he was there, what a strong presence
Fallon always has that “oh shit, what’s he gonna say” face, whenever he interviews standup comedians. 😁 Same with his Bill Burr interviews.
Patrice is not only one of the greatest comedians of all time but is also one of the most intellectual philosophers of the past few generations and deserves to go down in history as one of the most important human beings of the century.
Patrice is the greatest.. ever.. that man changed my life, till this day I’m thankful for coming across Patrice back in the day.
RIP! He’s sorely missed, especially now more than ever!
He owned that room. Jimmy was thinking censors, the whole time while his producer sweated bullets.
Patrice hated mainstream viewers because the lacked substance.
Having Patrice on a "regular" tv show was phenomenal! Should have been entire show. So fun having a bunch of folks in audience who had NO idea who Patrice was & then experience him! Must have blown their minds!
Damn yo... I wish I had known this guy while he was alive. Hes a legend legend legend
Me too
2021...still watching this! How many watch this clip more than once?! My favorite comedian of all time!
"Was that early?"
"That was from the back."
He is correct...I google Asian, Black, Ghostface killa, Comedian and Ohio and it was the only show that came up
I love they played “creep” when he walked out lmfao. RIP Patrice.
I’m white. Patrice hates me. I swear to god i still love this man. Brought me out of a dark spot in my life listening to his comedy and radio appearances on OandA
No way he hates you. He had best comic friends that were white. He'd hate your whiteness lol, but not you
If you haven't heard of "black phillip" look it up.
A lot of his friends were white, he just liked to get a rise of people that did not know him.
The best time travel machine is UA-cam
Dope thank you for the upload. Rip Patrice
Patrice is like Tupac, he has so much random content out there you'd think he's secretly still alive 🤣🤣🤣
The charisma of this dude is amazing, I admire that!
Patrice got Quest love dying back there
God damn, how have I never seen this. It’s so god damn great. Incredible display of how original and one of a kind he was. I wish so badly he was alive today.
Ghostface and Raekwon coming buddy!😂
wow been waiting ages for this ty
RIP PATRICE THE GOAT
We need you now more than ever.
Patrice said "Comedy should be 50 people laughing their asses off… and fifty people horrified" He was unfiltered at 100 mph.
I miss Patrice. One of my favorite comics, and Elephant in the Room is a classic.
Became the Patrice O’Neal show for those 8 minutes
Patrice at the end ‘was that 6 minutes?!’ A truly comfortable man
Patrice owned the entire room and the audience and if he had another hour in the room he couldve made every speak honestly brings tears to my eyes the way he made people honest
"How many people thought I was a lovely white girl? Thank you for being honest, it is what it is."
There has been few great appearances on various late shows over the years. This one takes the cake though. Patrice is the funniest man ever.
This man is the purest form of comedic gold.
Holy shit it's actually new footage and not just a bait title. This is like finding a four leaf clover on youtube.
"You loosend up" Fallon was shook for a sec
I was lucky enough to get put on to Patrice before he died from listening to O&A. Was so bummed to see him pass , was even more bummed to see the lack of coverage during his death. He solidified his spot on the Mount Rushmore of comedy and ppl are now starting to listen 🐐
He’s genius. Tension. Release. Comedy gold. Authenticity.
A true master of the craft. Went out in front of an audience that was supposed to hate him but leaves with everyone loving him. Damn, I miss his comedy. Legend
The man, the myth, the Legend!
His comedy genius and philosophy lives on. RIP Patreeky
It's found under every Patrice video, but holy christ do we miss this man right now.
BRO Patrice is a genius. He is talking about the inclusion of all minorities in Jimmy Fallon's show, which is exactly at the crux of the current social movement in media. A lot of people think he tends to support conservative view points (at least on the internet) but he does what he believes is right regardless of political leanings.. One of a kind
I discovered Patrice late, but at least I got to know his comedy a fee years before he died it makes all the difference. I truly believe if he had lived he had GOAT potential. He is one of my favorite comics ever even with just his limited material. Absolute fucking legend
