So grateful to have this update as within this video I realise I have been using the laser lift too much! I thought I should use it every night (do love it though). On Saturdays, my last exercise day, I do the exercises, then one of the massages and finish with a face mask. My face feels fantastic! Sometimes I then use the laser lift but I think what you’re saying is that it would be too much on that day. I am up to series 4 and can really see a difference with the frown lines between my eyes and my jaw feels so toned. Have a massive problem with festoons but am sticking with the routines provided by you Peta as I could be tempted to over exercise this area to try and get a quick fix. Long way to go before I look any way near as good as you do! ❤️
When I was doing face exercises every day, my face got too thin. I guess if someone has a full, or bloated face to begin with, that's a good thing, but if you suffer from skull face, every other day is what worked best for me.
@@sherryzink5698I think they lift the face, not plump or slim it down. So if you have a skinny face, the right exercise will make it appear fuller, because the muscles underneath the cheekbones become more defined. Same with fat faces like mine. The exercises won't remove fat, but they will make a chubby face seem more lifted with more chiselled cheek bones, giving it the illusion of looking slimmer. In other words, having a better fat distribution. But if you overdo it, you could end up with the opposite effect of what you want.This is my guess. Don't fully quote me.
what actually happens when you do facial exercise, is when the muscles start to tone, the muscles adapt to the natural shape of your face. They dont change the way you look at all, somehow the exercises take you back to the way your face used to look. You are correct, you cant lose fat from your face like you do when you exercise your body, due to the nature of the fat under the skin, its actually having more toned muscles that do it. When you over do my exercises, due to people doing too many repetitions, thinking that the face will tone faster, it does work in reverse and causes muscle fatigue ans skin sagging.

Thank goodness I saw this ! I have just started and I'm on week 3.I was using my Utone device then doing a massage and in the evening your exercises 7 days a week ! I am happy to reduce it all as it was too much but my skin looks fine.

Peta has a program, if we follow the program just as Peta tells us, we can achieve wonderful results. Hi Peta, I'm on your series 3 level 2 now. But I do face exercise for the whole week without resting. Do u mean do 5 days face exercise and add 1 day face massage than rest for 1 day ? And this will count as 1 week? So after 6 weeks, rest for a weeks and change to a new series routine? Until now I have see slight improvement on my lower and upper cheek, is more lifted & tone. As for the massage I'm worry might get break out from the oil. Which oil is suitable for oily skin? Thanks, hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Peta I do face exercises for about 4 months. But it has been 1 month that I came across your videos. I want to say that I have 2 years old baby twins and I gave them mother milk for about 20 months. They tired me a lot. And in these months I couldn't sleep properly and then I tried to lose weight. I lost 10kilos which caused me hollow cheeks. and also not sleeping also sagged my skin. Now I do face exercises every day and Also I do face massage both in the morning and at night. I saw your exercise routine. But I want to see quick improvement in my face. So can I do face massage twice a day and face exercises once a day? please help me.
Perihan, facial exercise does not give quick improvement. and the more of it you do, the less improvement you get. just follow the program as I described in the video, and dont fall into the trap that the more you do the faster it will work. Your face muscles and skin will fatigue and you will be in worse shape.
You can not go wrong with keeping the skin moisturized > wash face with natural elements like honey or olive oil / coconut oil. dry skin cracks so seal in oil by leaving the skin damp to dry > if your skin is too oily use a lotion on tissue to blot and let area air dry. keep a lovely hand fan with you for emergency drying in public. spray fan with your perfume or favorite scent.
Thanks for the video, Peta! Some people say that skin fibers or tissues have a limited streching life time (as a metal spring) and thus, the continuous exercising will eventually brake them. However, a lot of people (including yourself) indeed show the beneficts of facial exercise over time. What's your opinion about it?

Hey Peta, thanks for the video! But I want to ask, this doesn't apply to, for example, vitamin C serum, facial masks/facial oils, etc.? For example, I do your exercises but I also like to DIY my own facial care stuff, like vitamin C serums, algae masks (spirulina, chlorella), turmeric masks, coconut oil, etc. That's ok, right? Do you think I should maybe take a few weeks off completely from facial exercises to see if my skin is just dehydrated? It just looks a bit off. I'm really skinny so I also probably have to gain a bit of weight as well, so I want to try to rule out possibilities. I don't really have wrinkles though, it's just a bit strange. My face IS skinny but from some angles it has nice sharp angles so it's no big deal I guess, but I still want to make it better.
Hi John, I think key to what you are saying here is that you need to gain a bit of weight. When someone is very thin, it impacts on the structure of the face. No matter how much facial exercise you do, you will need to gain a bit of weight to start plumping your face. The good thing is tho, is you have been working diligently at your face exercise. So, when you do gain a bit of weight, your face will look much better. I know this happened to me also, and you can go back to my videos around 2014 and see the impact of losing weight did to my face also. To not have wrinkles, and to have your face in proportion, you need to be your perfect weight for your face and body. This is why some people cant get rid of jowls, is because they are not at optimum weight.
Hello peta, alongwith ur exercises i use egg white mixed with coconut oil and lemon all in little amount and massage with them for 1 or 2 minutes this leaves my skin very shiny and bright I want to ask whether lemon can make my skin thin or damage it in any way
Hi Humera, I am glad that works. Lemon is good for the skin, but only use a small amount of it, mixed into something else. Dont apply it directly onto the face.

Hi Peta, l am in the first serie, by 100 reps and i noticed new wrinkels on my chinn and over the upper lip area. The wrinkels seems larger, like streched too much. Shall i go on or stop doing it? Or is my skin too dehidrated?
Hi Manuela, try not pushing too hard, or using much effort. Maybe give yourself a nice massage with a light oil, and then rest your skin a bit, and if you want to start again, just start gently
Hi Peta, could you tell me if I am doing this right, I am only doing your face exercises and use only your laser I do my exercises 5 days a week, then next day massage and powerlift but I use the laser that day too, then on the rest day I use the laser also.Is this too much laser or is it ok. I have also asked about the massage and I am doing that twice a week. Please let me know if I am overdoing the laser. Thanks Peta.

Hi Kriss Owl, I have set the program up so that it works. You cannot change it because if you do it will throw out the balance of the exercises in relation to the actual exercising. Please stick to what I advise to do, dont change it. Also, with the Guasha, just use it 3 times a week as advised. Say M / W / F that way you are not overdoing it, as if you use devices too much or not as advised, you can cause damage on your skin.
Dear Peta I pen down this with a heavy heart. I dint have much knowledge on face exercises till I came across yr channel. So I think I did over exercise looking at many other videos at random choice and did this and that and unfortunately lost the elasticity of skin..drooping jowls Nd cheeks.i lost my youthful face.now I have started your series 1. Hello! I had a medical operation on my nose about 4 months ago and it is still a tiny bit sore and not fully recovered. Is it possible to leave the nose exercise out of the routine for the short term?
Hi Merve, to let you know, you cannot change the skeletal structure of your face with facial exercise. When you do face exercise the muscles adapt to the natural shape of your face, thus giving you your former look when you were younger. Its not possible to make the forehead smaller or longer, it is what it is, and cannot be changed thru this process

A friend of mine said that I should do salt or sugar scrubs every day because of large pores and acne scars. does this so the same thing as using too many devices?
Hi Robin, I would most definitely not use salt or sugar scrubs on your face every day. This is a sure way to start breaking down the skin. Also, its actually a myth regarding reducing pores. Its a very hard thing to do. You can refine the skin somewhat around the pore, but it really doesnt reduce open large pores. I would really ask you to stop doing that all together, and use something more gentle on the skin. 🙏
Mam I did facial exercises by random vedioes n my face ruined by that when I recognise that so I had stop doing now 1 year complete for that but my face looking fatty n uneven my back camera photos not looking good so what can I do for recover my face back

Hi Peta just another little question if you don't mind. I know you have the section exercise along with me but I was just thinking would it be a better idea to just go through each exercise each rep in your own time working through each series 1to 3 probably in front of a mirror lol and learning and feeling how to perform each exercise instead of following you and trying to hurry up and probably not doing each rep properly. as you obviously have the know how and skill and speed to perform each rep effectively and correct. So I guess what I am asking is it necessary to exercise along with you or is it better to do it as I said until you have got the knack then exercise along with you or maybe not ever with you and just exercise by myself sorry a bit long winded explanation but I hope you get my meaning thanks.

hi heather, when you first get it you should try to use it 6 days a week for around 4 weeks. then go to 1 day a week or 2 days because you could over stimulate your skin with all the other things you are doing. its just a precaution

Hi Yazen yes, you need to follow the program. If wrinkles have appeared on your face it means that you have not been following the programme or have changed it in some way, like doing too much of the same exercise and not changing them around as I spoke about in the video.
I just started doing these exercises, I am currently just starting doing the series 1 level 1 exercises, and I am young (17) so do you reckon that I continue doing the exercises till series 5, or do I just at series 1 level 3. Also, how long should I do level one till I can move onto level 3. Thank you.

Hi Peta, your face is looking plumbed if you compare with video's from 2 years ago. Did you gain weight or is it de accumulated effect of face exercises? I have a small face with not much fat on the lower checks. I am always afraid to be more gaunt when becoming older. If you did not gain weight this gives hope. :) Also when I do exercises I feel the muscles only in the down layer of the tissue of my skin. Not on the top layer, that feels a bit loose from it if you understand. Is it that the muscles working the way up over the years to the top layer of the skin? Important question for me because my skin is quite stretchy.
Yes Debsy I have gained some weight. It seems that you have very fine skin and you will need to pay extra care. Sometimes I am sorry to say, that facial exercises are not for everyone. I mean you could give it a try and see how it works, but make sure that you are adding moisturiser afterward because I would assume your skin is also very dry and crepe.
Hi Peta, thanx my face is not very dry and crepe. I am 38. My face is actually quite soft. Only a bit dry in winter. I didn't mean it become more gaunt due doing face exercises. I hope you understand that. What about the question about the muscles?

i say over and over dont add exercises. I cant help you if things go wrong if you do. just work thru the three series and repeat them. dont change them

I have those horizontal lines going across my cheeks like you’re saying and it looks worse when I smile. I just looked in the mirror a month or so ago and noticed them and been pretty upset thinking I just started aging like crazy all out of the blue. I'm 30 and I'm afraid it seems I developed Marionette lines since I started trying different face yoga exercises but I stopped as you instructed. I hope and pray this fix my face cuz I'm so scared
You have to be so careful, and always follow instructions of doing facial exercises. If it says to do only a certain amt, just do that, because as you have learned, it gets worse if you do more. I have worked out the program so it works perfectly and balanced so as not to cause problems IF you follow it correctly. I dont know if you were doing my exercises, because my exercises are not actually face yoga, but just rest and dont do anything at all

it really takes the time it takes that your body will allow. There is no allocated or magic time. Just keep doing them and over time you will see your face gradually lifting. It will start in one area, then the rest of your face will follow.

So grateful to have this update as within this video I realise I have been using the laser lift too much! I thought I should use it every night (do love it though). On Saturdays, my last exercise day, I do the exercises, then one of the massages and finish with a face mask. My face feels fantastic! Sometimes I then use the laser lift but I think what you’re saying is that it would be too much on that day. I am up to series 4 and can really see a difference with the frown lines between my eyes and my jaw feels so toned. Have a massive problem with festoons but am sticking with the routines provided by you Peta as I could be tempted to over exercise this area to try and get a quick fix. Long way to go before I look any way near as good as you do! ❤️

When I was doing face exercises every day, my face got too thin. I guess if someone has a full, or bloated face to begin with, that's a good thing, but if you suffer from skull face, every other day is what worked best for me.
yea me too have a skinny face after doing face exercises for 2 years, it's actually much difficult to gain weight than losing weight in the face
I thought the exersises were supposed to plump the face, not skinnify it!
@@sherryzink5698I think they lift the face, not plump or slim it down. So if you have a skinny face, the right exercise will make it appear fuller, because the muscles underneath the cheekbones become more defined. Same with fat faces like mine. The exercises won't remove fat, but they will make a chubby face seem more lifted with more chiselled cheek bones, giving it the illusion of looking slimmer. In other words, having a better fat distribution. But if you overdo it, you could end up with the opposite effect of what you want.This is my guess. Don't fully quote me.
what actually happens when you do facial exercise, is when the muscles start to tone, the muscles adapt to the natural shape of your face. They dont change the way you look at all, somehow the exercises take you back to the way your face used to look. You are correct, you cant lose fat from your face like you do when you exercise your body, due to the nature of the fat under the skin, its actually having more toned muscles that do it. When you over do my exercises, due to people doing too many repetitions, thinking that the face will tone faster, it does work in reverse and causes muscle fatigue ans skin sagging.

Thank goodness I saw this ! I have just started and I'm on week 3.I was using my Utone device then doing a massage and in the evening your exercises 7 days a week ! I am happy to reduce it all as it was too much but my skin looks fine.

Is it normal for our face to look less plump and muscles/skin be more tired when we increase the exercises from 50-100-150?
Hi Peta, I'm on your series 3 level 2 now. But I do face exercise for the whole week without resting. Do u mean do 5 days face exercise and add 1 day face massage than rest for 1 day ? And this will count as 1 week? So after 6 weeks, rest for a weeks and change to a new series routine? Until now I have see slight improvement on my lower and upper cheek, is more lifted & tone. Hi Peta I do face exercises for about 4 months. But it has been 1 month that I came across your videos. I want to say that I have 2 years old baby twins and I gave them mother milk for about 20 months. They tired me a lot. And in these months I couldn't sleep properly and then I tried to lose weight. I lost 10kilos which caused me hollow cheeks. and also not sleeping also sagged my skin. Now I do face exercises every day and Also I do face massage both in the morning and at night. I saw your exercise routine. But I want to see quick improvement in my face. So can I do face massage twice a day and face exercises once a day? please help me.
Perihan, facial exercise does not give quick improvement. and the more of it you do, the less improvement you get. just follow the program as I described in the video, and dont fall into the trap that the more you do the faster it will work. Your face muscles and skin will fatigue and you will be in worse shape.

You can not go wrong with keeping the skin moisturized > wash face with natural elements like honey or olive oil / coconut oil. dry skin cracks so seal in oil by leaving the skin damp to dry > if your skin is too oily use a lotion on tissue to blot and let area air dry. keep a lovely hand fan with you for emergency drying in public. spray fan with your perfume or favorite scent.
Thanks for the video, Peta! Some people say that skin fibers or tissues have a limited streching life time (as a metal spring) and thus, the continuous exercising will eventually brake them. However, a lot of people (including yourself) indeed show the beneficts of facial exercise over time. What's your opinion about it?

Hey Peta, thanks for the video! But I want to ask, this doesn't apply to, for example, vitamin C serum, facial masks/facial oils, etc.? For example, I do your exercises but I also like to DIY my own facial care stuff, like vitamin C serums, algae masks (spirulina, chlorella), turmeric masks, coconut oil, etc. That's ok, right? Do you think I should maybe take a few weeks off completely from facial exercises to see if my skin is just dehydrated? It just looks a bit off. I'm really skinny so I also probably have to gain a bit of weight as well, so I want to try to rule out possibilities. I don't really have wrinkles though, it's just a bit strange. My face IS skinny but from some angles it has nice sharp angles so it's no big deal I guess, but I still want to make it better.
Hi John, I think key to what you are saying here is that you need to gain a bit of weight. When someone is very thin, it impacts on the structure of the face. No matter how much facial exercise you do, you will need to gain a bit of weight to start plumping your face. The good thing is tho, is you have been working diligently at your face exercise. So, when you do gain a bit of weight, your face will look much better. I know this happened to me also, and you can go back to my videos around 2014 and see the impact of losing weight did to my face also. To not have wrinkles, and to have your face in proportion, you need to be your perfect weight for your face and body. This is why some people cant get rid of jowls, is because they are not at optimum weight.

Hello peta, alongwith ur exercises i use egg white mixed with coconut oil and lemon all in little amount and massage with them for 1 or 2 minutes this leaves my skin very shiny and bright I want to ask whether lemon can make my skin thin or damage it in any way
Hi Humera, I am glad that works. Lemon is good for the skin, but only use a small amount of it, mixed into something else. Dont apply it directly onto the face.

I'm starting with Series #1. What are the time frames for going from 50 reps per exercise to 100 reps to 150 reps?
Hi Peta, l am in the first serie, by 100 reps and i noticed new wrinkels on my chinn and over the upper lip area. The wrinkels seems larger, like streched too much. Shall i go on or stop doing it? Or is my skin too dehidrated?
Hi Manuela, try not pushing too hard, or using much effort. Maybe give yourself a nice massage with a light oil, and then rest your skin a bit, and if you want to start again, just start gently
Hi Peta, could you tell me if I am doing this right, I am only doing your face exercises and use only your laser I do my exercises 5 days a week, then next day massage and powerlift but I use the laser that day too, then on the rest day I use the laser also.Is this too much laser or is it ok. If your skin is standing up to it, you should be ok. Its when you see the skin breaking down is when you might be overdoing it. ❤

Hi Kriss Owl, I have set the program up so that it works. You cannot change it because if you do it will throw out the balance of the exercises in relation to the actual exercising. Please stick to what I advise to do, dont change it. Also, with the Guasha, just use it 3 times a week as advised. Say M / W / F that way you are not overdoing it, as if you use devices too much or not as advised, you can cause damage on your skin.

Dear Peta I pen down this with a heavy heart. I dint have much knowledge on face exercises till I came across yr channel. So I think I did over exercise looking at many other videos at random choice and did this and that and unfortunately lost the elasticity of skin..drooping jowls Nd cheeks.i lost my youthful face.now I have started your series 1. Will I get back my youthful face with lifted cheeks and jowls..I'm worried. Pls reply. Thank God I came across your channel. Thank God for you.

Hello! I had a medical operation on my nose about 4 months ago and it is still a tiny bit sore and not fully recovered. Is it possible to leave the nose exercise out of the routine for the short term?
I would just stop all of the exercising until it heals as the muscles are all interconnected. Just have a rest then start when better.

Hi Merve, to let you know, you cannot change the skeletal structure of your face with facial exercise. When you do face exercise the muscles adapt to the natural shape of your face, thus giving you your former look when you were younger. Its not possible to make the forehead smaller or longer, it is what it is, and cannot be changed thru this process

A friend of mine said that I should do salt or sugar scrubs every day because of large pores and acne scars. does this so the same thing as using too many devices?
Hi Robin, I would most definitely not use salt or sugar scrubs on your face every day. This is a sure way to start breaking down the skin. Also, its actually a myth regarding reducing pores. Its a very hard thing to do. You can refine the skin somewhat around the pore, but it really doesnt reduce open large pores. I would really ask you to stop doing that all together, and use something more gentle on the skin. 🙏

Hi Peta just another little question if you don't mind.
I know you have the section exercise along with me but I was just thinking would it be a better idea to just go through each exercise each rep in your own time working through each series 1to 3 probably in front of a mirror lol and learning and feeling how to perform each exercise instead of following you and trying to hurry up and probably not doing each rep properly.
as you obviously have the know how and skill and speed to perform each rep effectively and correct.
So I guess what I am asking is it necessary to exercise along with you or is it better to do it as I said until you have got the knack then exercise along with you or maybe not ever with you and just exercise by myself sorry a bit long winded explanation but I hope you get my meaning thanks.

hi heather, when you first get it you should try to use it 6 days a week for around 4 weeks. then go to 1 day a week or 2 days because you could over stimulate your skin with all the other things you are doing. its just a precaution

Hi Yazen yes, you need to follow the program. If wrinkles have appeared on your face it means that you have not been following the programme or have changed it in some way, like doing too much of the same exercise and not changing them around as I spoke about in the video.
Also Yazen, you might be too young to start the exercises, I would do a few facial massages each week, and wait until you are older to do them.

I just started doing these exercises, I am currently just starting doing the series 1 level 1 exercises, and I am young (17) so do you reckon that I continue doing the exercises till series 5, or do I just at series 1 level 3. Also, how long should I do level one till I can move onto level 3. Thank you.

Hi Peta, your face is looking plumbed if you compare with video's from 2 years ago. Did you gain weight or is it de accumulated effect of face exercises? I have a small face with not much fat on the lower checks. I am always afraid to be more gaunt when becoming older. If you did not gain weight this gives hope. :)
Also when I do exercises I feel the muscles only in the down layer of the tissue of my skin. Not on the top layer, that feels a bit loose from it if you understand. Is it that the muscles working the way up over the years to the top layer of the skin? Important question for me because my skin is quite stretchy.
Yes Debsy I have gained some weight. It seems that you have very fine skin and you will need to pay extra care. Sometimes I am sorry to say, that facial exercises are not for everyone. I mean you could give it a try and see how it works, but make sure that you are adding moisturiser afterward because I would assume your skin is also very dry and crepe.
Hi Peta, thanx my face is not very dry and crepe. I am 38. My face is actually quite soft. Only a bit dry in winter.

i say over and over dont add exercises. I cant help you if things go wrong if you do. just work thru the three series and repeat them. dont change them

We do 50 reps in the above format for 2 weeks, then we do 100 reps for 2 weeks then we do 150 reps for 2 weeks. The series takes 6 weeks to complete. Then we take a week off, during this week we learn the exercises for series 2, trying to learn an exercise a day, looking in the mirror and listening to what Peta is telling us to do in the videos. After the week off we start series 2 with 50 reps for 2 weeks as per above format. We start with series 1 and work through to series 6, then we start all over again with series 1. Series 1-3 are on the public channel and series 4-6 are in the membership site. We do the exercises lying down. Peta also has a beautiful skin care range, which can be found on her internet website under renew me. We also do face yoga, this gives us extra lift, we do it 12 hours from when we do the exercises. Eg. If we do the exercises in the morning we do yoga in the evening. The yoga is found on youtube facerobics yoga. It is recommended that we start facerobics around the age of 30 years. I'm 30 and I'm afraid it seems I developed Marionette lines since I started trying different face yoga exercises but I stopped as you instructed. I hope and pray this fix my face cuz I'm so scared
You have to be so careful, and always follow instructions of doing facial exercises. If it says to do only a certain amt, just do that, because as you have learned, it gets worse if you do more. I have worked out the program so it works perfectly and balanced so as not to cause problems IF you follow it correctly. I dont know if you were doing my exercises, because my exercises are not actually face yoga, but just rest and dont do anything at all

If its sagging jowls, all I can suggest is you keep following the program and over time you will see them diminish somewhat.

it really takes the time it takes that your body will allow. There is no allocated or magic time. Just keep doing them and over time you will see your face gradually lifting. It will start in one area, then the rest of your face will follow.
I agree, Peta looks younger every new video. I've been doing the exercises for 11 months and I believe I should do them forever.
