Yeah well when you treat someone like crap for years how can you expect anything different! Sarah Jessica Parker and the other 2 women treated Kim Cattrall like crap! They made her do many nude scenes that she didn't want to do! Plus they made her eat lunch by herself and they went out for drinks at the end of the day and they never invited Kim Cattrall to go with them plus she caught them talking bad about her constantly and they would shut up and start giggling when she entered the room! So basically they acted like little rich uppity bitches! Now they can't understand why Kim wants absolutely nothing to do with either one of them!!!!

Remember: SJP was treated as the 'star' of the show, and she got more pay and creative control of her character. In my opinion, this was an ensemble cast, each character contributed significantly to the story. SJP could have led the cast to pressure the producers for equal pay and creative control, but she did not do this, since she obviously did not consider them her equal. The cast of 'Friends' demanded and got this equality because they stuck together. The cast of 'Friends' were actual friends in real life. The cast of SATC were colleagues, nothing more. This is why SJP comes off as a phony, pretending she is a friend.
Absolutely. You can really tell that the cast of Friends really were friends. The three women are seen out and about with each other all the time and now and again, they invite the men too.
I'm pretty certain that SJP, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon are genuinely friends. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Exactly. SJP should've pushed for equal pay for all 4 if them since she's one of the executive producers. Kim Cattrall demanded more pay for Season 7 but did not get it that's why the series ended in the first place.
@@iris089 It is said that Kim tried to create a friends agreement with salaries and that was rejected by the others and so another issue for when Kim had had enough the first time. She was really the star of the creator Darren Star and SJP was the Favourite of Michael Patrick King who took over from season 3 - 6 including the films.

thats not what kim said. its about age. kim is far older than the others and was in a different head space then the others when the show started. the girls would hang out with each other after work and bond and kim would go home to her family. once they built that friendship they would hang out in each other's dressing rooms and leave kim all on her lonesome. THAT is how the clique started, straight from the horse's mouth
I get it. After a long day at work I just want to go home, so I do not go out with my coworkers after work. I have had lunch with them once a month. We do get along. I believe only three of us hang out occasionally on weekends or after work. I do keep my personal life separate than my work life.
There's a higher chance of displeasing someone as opposed to pleasing them, because people can't be pleased. Keep it moving and do you. You are not for everybody, and everybody is not for you.

Blaming Kim for the S and C movie not filmed is silly. The movie can still be done. They can say the character of Samantha is on a world tour. She does work in public relations (on the show). Kim Cattrall's charisma is natural and the camera loves her, so if she stole a scene it was natural. There are several celebrities like that. She seems confident in real life too and that can rub certain women wrong. That's what causes cliques in every business. You are right. They need to let it go and move on. Did you see the interview with Andy Cohen where she slips out that she had been talking to him about it all week? So why did he ask her how she felt on the show if it was not planned? SJP has plenty of projects she is working on she can talk about. Work colleagues are not always personal friends.

It’s annoying to me when people think that 2 celebrities who did a show or movie together HAVE to be friends in real life. And if they’re not, they dislike each other. It’s just WORK. They’re costars which is just another word for entertainment colleagues. Are you friends with coworkers or people u worked with 10, 15, 20 years ago? For the most part, no. It doesn’t mean u hate them or that there’s any beef, it just means that the thing that bonded or connected u (working at the same place) is gone. Same as old classmates. If u see each other of course u might speak or catch up with them, maybe add them on Facebook or whatever, but it doesn’t make you real life FRIENDS. Ur not inviting each other to ur weddings and baby showers, because the relationship just isn’t that deep. That’s all. People gotta act like people in Hollywood aren’t still regular people.

Why does this mean there can never be another reunion tho? I’m confused. I’ve been saying this for years. They can do another movie and just make the opening scene at Samantha’s funeral. Her character battled breast cancer off and on the show, so her dying would be an organic and realistic transition for the fans. It’s not like they can do a movie and just pretend Samantha Jones never existed. It can definitely be done to satisfy everyone involved.

I was always disrespected and humiliated overtly by others and let myself tolerate this that at some point just cut all those ppl off for my well being . I am so happy to have met a bunch of awesome girlfriends in my later age . We were so understanding of each other , mature and respectful. It has empowered me so much . I felt my chains were off from toxic ppl ! If you feel stuck with ppl who keep bringing you down , manipulating you , ditching you , embarrassing you . It’s enough ! Take the reins and be your own queen . Dun be afraid to make a change in your life. This is the only way you can meet better ppl .
