@@medinamotorz1919 you're welcome dude. Just imo I think the length is fine. It's hilarious. Maybe just put a quiet music overlay or a couple of logo placements so that people know it's an intro. That was the only thing I noticed, was that it took me a couple of scenes to realize it was an intro. Great content either way
that's how it goes when you work on older cars in onterrible. shit will fight you every chance it gets. I just rebuilt the front end of my tdi and it took longer then I wanted,
H Majhail funny thing is my father or my buddy’s touch it for me and it works no problem! If I touch front end stuff it usually needs to worked on, never had good luck with it.
I did a lift on mine but wasn’t much compared to yours, was id say 4 inches but i added 205/70/15 tires. So doesn’t show much distance between tires and side wheel well. I also noticed on mine and your on pictures that seems like it had camber changes, do you think it did?
Best to ask you since no one else other than you has done this. I found 2015 Jeep Wrangler springs that I’m going to put on my jetta. Where did you buy your transmission spacers? And how big?
Canadian Fishing other people have if you go on Facebook- lifted watercooled vw, big group and growing.i used the 2015 jeep springs too, I didn’t use transmission spacers, my wheel spacers are ebay special 1 1/4 and 90 mm lug conversion
Do I need to tamper with axles or transmission when putting on this lift on my 2002 golf tdi because I don't want to put the lift on to realize I need longer axles 😂😂
Canadian Fishing wayy better then stock less body roll and i cant count for highway speeds because i needed an alignment from the start but no problems even past highway speed
@@mk4tasha The TDI owners love lifting their Jettas, Golfs, and Beetles because it given clearance to the oil pan which is soft aluminum and is prone to breakage on speed bumps and road hazards... They also employ skid plates.
Really dude?I’ve been working on vw’s for 20 years and never pulled the upper mount .... take the strut out after removing pinch bolt and do it all out of the car no need to pull subframe or steering knuckles maybee do some research before cutting anything?
I like the spring's as for the back shocks, just buy some jeep ones they are longer will most likely match up in length
mr. weed yea found out after I done it, regardless built it on a budget
OMG that intro lol. Best hoonigan compilation I've seen. That trailer...
Zach Rollins thanks I was thinking of moving it to the end it’s too long to play in the beginning I feel

Wish you showed how it rips in the snow lol, nice job.
Great job! I’ll be shopping for some Jeep springs.
Olivier Gagnon updates posted soon
Saw the car on kijiji Love it. Subbed!
You need to get 1/2 impact gun Dewalt or Milwaukee to get bolts apart easier and safe time my friend. Progress is better than no progress.
redlinepaul410 yea I finally got one later that year, hands down best mechanic tool I got yet besides a 10mm
What year were the jeeps that you used the springs from?
thought you were breaking the car,but nice job at the end

Do I need to put jeep shocks on it when putting coils or can I use my shocks and just put jeep coils around my golf shocks

I thought I’d have to drop my transmission for this lift. But that’s cool that I don’t. Thanks man I’ll check them out
Canadian Fishing no you don’t and don’t have to remove the subframe either but i had powersteering rack problems
For future remove the CV joint from the trans to make room and the sway bar behind. And hit it hard with PB blaster the day before
I'm also curious from what vehicle type are the springs and if they are the same in the front and the back
Ion George xj front coil springs for the rear and depending which motor you got you can use tj jk or jku front coils for the front
@@medinamotorz1919
Super, thanks !
What exactly did you use? For front and Rear

Idk dude watch the video jesus
I plan on lifting mine like this and adding some 30” mud tires and snorkel
Canadian Fishing its a whole different drive when you do
Is it better or does it feel rough? And what about highway speeds ?
Canadian Fishing wayy better then stock less body roll and i cant count for highway speeds because i needed an alignment from the start but no problems even past highway speed
Hey buddy what year vehicle did u get springs from ? And are all springs the same

I have a 2004 Volkswagen bug with a 1.8 what Springs should I use for the front
you might be one of the first people to lift a jetta lol
Sadly not the first but i dont plan on stopping just yet with it

Wanted to keep my 16” rims and shoot a little bigger tire then most

Todd Rochefort my dogbone mount was bad from the start which was why i did what i did.
This was clear as mud, what a waste of time
Stop wildly swinging the camera around. Invest in a tripod
PAINFUL to watch 👎
