Update on issue ?

I did a lift on mine but wasn’t much compared to yours, was id say 4 inches but i added 205/70/15 tires. So doesn’t show much distance between tires and side wheel well. I also noticed on mine and your on pictures that seems like it had camber changes, do you think it did?

Running 215/60-17 on mine, fits right on with a finger sized gap to the rear. Haven’t had them scrub yet.

I put big ass tyres on my VW Caddy. I put them on the stock 15 inch steelies

Really dude?I’ve been working on vw’s for 20 years and never pulled the upper mount .... take the strut out after removing pinch bolt and do it all out of the car no need to pull subframe or steering knuckles maybee do some research before cutting anything?

Use 99 Ford f150 rear shocks on the Jetta they are longer. They are cheap on Amazon.

You need to get 1/2 impact gun Dewalt or Milwaukee to get bolts apart easier and safe time my friend. Progress is better than no progress.

Dude, please for the love of god... next time you do any work with the car in the air... use some jack stands. When I saw you turning the front wheels (with one still on the ground no less!!), with no jack stands, no wheel chocks, and the front end up on just the lift... omg. Just, please get some jack stands. Keep up the posts on your lifted Jetta, I'm loving the content.
