I think they should explore blast beats and polyrhythms *at the same time*.
@@Ragnarockalypse Car Bomb was influenced by Meshuggah and they experiments more with rhythms including blast bleats like the songs Dissect Yourself or Xoxoy
I was at one of them clinics with Tomas Haake and Dick Lövgren a number of years ago and someone asked if Haake could a part of War and his reply was basically:
-No, I can't. I'm just not one of those fast drummers. The drum part is programmed in cubase.

@@neonblack211 Yes. DFH was released as a drum sample pack way back in the day (upd: 2002). Then that was later re-released as DFH Superior with UNprocessed samples, and then one more time included into EzDrummer 1, when it was released. And even later, Superior Drummer 1 was released, and that afaik had also an expansion pack for the original DFH.

@@droideca88 one way is to sample everything, and then put in audio tracks on the grid in order
in edm styles they do that with claps and those kind of percussive sounds
He took a sample from each piece of the kit and manually put every single hit in the right order. Before there was any drum machine software invented yet

This was originally a drum machine right written program
It predates Drumkit From Hell. DFH didnt come out til Catch 33. They are using something else here but could very well be the precursor to DFH.
@@eoghan_ak You're probably talking about the DFH expansion (EZX) for EZdrummer. DFH was recorded in 1999, and I remember a friend of mine using it in 2002. DFH was all there was back then, no EZdrummer or Superior. I don't know exactly which year it came out though.
Funny thing is that this was made with a drum computer for Tomas on his birthday. And here you are playing it = Insane!
