To have all that done in Canada would have taken months and so much headache. Paying for good quality health care makes so much more sense. Good for you Paulette and thanks for sharing!
😲, great price for all that you had done! I'm not sure about the ultrasound in the U.S. but it's great that the lab there offers it. Marc cracks me up with his editing!
Great video guys! Did I miss it or did you say these prices were for anyone, not just residents? Also off topic I wanted to ask how you keep your place warm in the winter months early morning and night. It doesn’t seem standard for heat or a/c. I’m sure you 2 have acclimated over the years now. 😊 Thanks again
I’ve noticed the last 2 years here in California my doctor has ordered a Vit D level on me as well and prescribed Vitamin D supplements for 6 months. Not sure why it’s being ordered since I live in a sunny climate and am outside often. She did say that since I always wear sunscreen I’m not absorbing enough Vit D. So the trend to check Vit D level is here as well. Do they check your A1C level? It is related to your diabetes risk. If not that may be why she ordered a Urinalysis to see if you are elevated in sugar in your urine. They used to order a UA on everyone yearly and now they order an A1C level.
Hi, I had all the blood work screening they usually do, Sodium, potassium, magnesium, bilirubin, cholesterol, liver & thyroid test. Added on Kidney & Vit D as I mentioned too. I'm not sure without insurance in the U.S. what that would all run. But like I said it was approx $300 including the OBGYN appt. & the ultrasound & mammogram too. Did I answer too much ???? ~ Paulette
Your voice could also be because of GERD. Regardless, when your voice is lower in tone and you have plenty of air, your voice is stronger. Try vocal practice. Start with deep tones and move up. This will definitely strengthen your vocal cords and and you'll have less air going through the cords. Great videos!
Good to know. I love your patio too! 😊
Thanks Debra. -Marc

I'm in Chicago and I get a mammogram and ultrasound at the same time I go to an Advocate breast cancer center
What does that cost? -Marc

You can get you A1C level checked here in Mexico also. -Marc
Thanks for the great info.
What kind of labs were they. Was it like CMP and CBC labs ?
