Last Wednesday, American society witnessed one of those singular events that set the unconscious forces of history as a whole to work in the right direction. Luigi Mangione, beyond the superficial analyses of the vast majority of paid journalists, has delivered a profound and piercing act, as brutal as it is rare in its honesty-undoubtedly, singular. This individual offered his body to resist a much larger body, one that daily, silently yet treacherously, crushes millions of innocent citizens with the complicity of the very institutions that now seek to judge him with a legitimacy they lack. Mangione's action is an expression of moral sublimation, as his body was elevated by the spirit of universal justice and acted on its behalf-justice that is not subject to sophistic or conventional concreteness. His vital energy dissolved itself, along with the existential possibilities of his promising social and personal potential, to become a historical destination of universal character. The vanity of evil has taken over the American healthcare system. Thousands of people profit through a sadistic and cold bureaucratic machine that systematically allows insurers to defraud citizens. I hope it gets better for you guys. I have a chronic pain condition and recently went on a treatment plan 9 months now that is currently covered mostly by insurance but at my last appointment, I was asked by the doctor if I wanted to do it less frequently “since it’s going so well”. I politely declined not wanting to change how it’s going and didn’t think much of it. In cases like Luigi Mangione's, jury nullification is an important reminder that jurors hold the ultimate power to serve justice. If the law being applied feels unjust or leads to an outcome that conflicts with our shared sense of morality, jurors have the right to vote 'not guilty' -even if the evidence suggests otherwise. It's not about ignoring the law; it's about recognizing that the purpose of the law is to serve justice, not undermine it. Jury nullification has been a tool for change in the past, from rejecting unjust Prohibition laws to resisting oppressive statutes like the Fugitive Slave Act. If you believe that enforcing the law in Luigi's case does more harm than good, you have the power to take a stand for fairness and humanity

Here are several quotes reflecting the idea that failing to take a stand allows the status quo to persist: 1. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - Edmund Burke (attributed) 2. “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” - Martin Luther King Jr. 3. “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” - Martin Luther King Jr. 4. “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” - Mahatma Gandhi 5. “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” - Desmond Tutu 6. “He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.” - Martin Luther King Jr. 7. “You may never know what results come of your actions, but if you do nothing, there will be no result.” - Mahatma Gandhi 8. “If not us, who? You may want to research why insurance industry got to that point and how Obama and the democrats could have contributed to that. Obama implemented compulsory insurance for everybody and that really meant that insurance companies were put in a position where they don't have the money to pay for everybody. For bragging purposes of the Democrats it worked, "everyone has insurance now". But it completely messed up the system which already wasn't perfect, and everyone suffered, including good all-time insurance payers. Why would you lash out in the insurance companies but not the Democratic populists who broke the system?
SOMEONE PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE SURGEON! He destroyed the health of this child (he is only 26 years old ,please, he is still a child). The spine is very important to the body as it acts as the central support structure, allowing us to stand upright, move freely, and protects the spinal cord which is crucial for transmitting nerve signals from the brain to the rest of the body; essentially, without a healthy spine, basic functions like movement and posture would be severely compromised. The surgeon must be investigated . He is the root of all the bad things that happened after. Is he a true competent surgeon ? Are out there many others with problems after surgeries performed by that doctor?

They never found the missing $2.3 Trillion from before 9/11 either. It just vanished and we keep funding them. UHC collects money and then lets AI deny care (90% denial rate), so the shareholders can buy nice yachts or bananas taped to walls, apparently. Those "Death Panels" Fox News were scaring people about in 2009/10 were that CEO's job description (legally, his only responsibility was to increase profits for shareholders....take money from the peasants, deny care, they either die or suffer, and then UHC has a lavish party at the end of the year!) As of 1995 , American citizens were giving the same Country 18 MILLION DOLLARS A Day. Every day 365 days a year. Imagine what it is now? At least 30 Million a day and that doesn't include all the 10s of Billions in "emergency aid" throughout the years.
Tell me, how much medical coverage would American citizens have gotten with that ?
We are also on the hook for 450 BILLION dollars a year for housing, medical, food and Attorney's for Illegals at our border.

My gf has had back surgery. She has pins and screws in her neck and lower back. From her words, the pain is excruciating and gets worse when the weather is bad. I heard his life was basically done and he couldn't be active anymore like he used to be before his surgery. Living with my gf and seeing her in constant pain and finding out this guy went through similar? Yeah, I'd believe he'd grab a hammer out of frustration and take matters into his own hands - while he could still walk. Not saying it's right, but 190 opioid pills per month later that they hassle you to get is a rough way to live

"Let this message reach as many people as possible. Share it with others, spread the word, and ensure Luigi Mangione’s story inspires the change we all deserve."
This fraud, in many cases, results in death and the most unjust and despairing physical and existential suffering. Do not forget that this suffering is not just numbers; it is a real event within the interiority of thousands of innocent and unprotected people-defenseless U.S. citizens against an economic giant, a despicable and cruel bully. Those thousands of citizens who are not covered when they need surgery or any treatment to survive, even when they have been paying for their insurance in many cases (due to outrageous legal strategies systematically employed to evade responsibility), have found in Luigi Mangione a universal justice that the American system has denied them for many years. And not only that-far from preventing this treacherous and aberrant dynamic of the massive conglomerate, the system rewards it with immense sums of money, thus rewarding terror and horror-a form of machinic and inertial terrorism, which Luigi Mangione has courageously confronted as few dare to do.
When tyranny is law, revolution is order. The history and rights you possess today, you who are reading these words, are built on singularities like the one Luigi has just undertaken-do not forget it.
Now I’m hearing that the insurance companies are claiming that it’s not an effective treatment and should be paid out of pocket. Umm? It changed my life.
How’s his accident the CEO’s fault? Luigi went to the surf lessons and busted his back. Insurance money can solve all health issues.

You are confused a little, it's not huge healthcare insurance fraud leads to such obnoxious billing and killing of patients - it's the other way around - huge medical bills for unnecessary treatments and surgeries lead to the insurance policies going up out of proportions, they can't keep up with claims amounts.

@@americangirl8970 nope it cannot
@@qqqqqqqqqqqqqqfaf Yes, it really fucking can. If the Judge or Prosecutor or Defense Attorney believes the jury to have been biased against their side and to not actually be doing their job, there are MULTIPLE ways in which the case could be either a) judged a mistrial and/or b) the case could be sent for appeal to a higher court. Eventually if it went all the way to the Supreme Court you can bet your ASS they are not going to let political intent get in the way of enforcing the prime purpose of the judicial system which is due process, innocent until proven guilty, and right to a fair trial and so on which were all DENIED to the UHC CEO. Mangione is going to be locked up for life with no parole. Count on it.

You may want to research why insurance industry got to that point and how Obama and the democrats could have contributed to that. Those "Death Panels" Fox News were scaring people about in 2009/10 were that CEO's job description (legally, his only responsibility was to increase profits for shareholders....take money from the peasants, deny care, they either die or suffer, and then UHC has a lavish party at the end of the year!) Everyone should be very pissed-off, but they pit us against each other and misdirect where the money is going. That $2,300,000,000,000 they lost in 2000 could have gone towards a lot of healthcare.

“Didn’t have a ‘hinderance’ it was him” clearly this guy didn’t “‘exceed’ academically” 😂
01:43 this guy went to school with him and couldn't recognize if it was him when saw pics, and a McDonald's employee can tell.
This is either fishy, or that McDonald's employee is in a wrong business
Anyone else notice it’s always a former classmate the media finds to interview???
what did you expected? make questions for strangers in the streets?
Not so bright are you?
He doesn't exactly have any current classmates
Luigi Mangione sacrifice his future to unite that divided country and awake Class conscience in the Working Class
Let’s hope. I fear in 6 months everyone will be back to focusing on sportsball, netflix, celebrity worship, immigrants, non straight, and the trump/elon show.
Agreed, Class consciousness has been lost since McCarthyism
"Let this message reach as many people as possible. Share it with others, spread the word, and ensure Luigi Mangione’s story inspires the change we all deserve."
Promoting terrorism.
We can put more pressure on the insurance industry. sure feeling right now. Everyone needs to call their insurance co and your senator and complain loudly.
He looks more like the shooter from the nyc photos than Luigi lol.
Absolutely that's exactly what I thought. That guy was there he was the one in the photo.
Lmaoooo i thought the same thing! That hs has some good looking kids!
That's what I was thinking
agreed
😅😅
Here in Brazil, access to healthcare is FREE! The name of the plan is called 'SUS' - SINGLE HEALTH SYSTEM. suggestion: Instead of the USA spending billions on the military industry, they could implement the SUS.
People need to go after the hospitals too, where they bill people 8-10k just for MRI . 65k for 3 days in the hospital ..
*unloads magazine in ER*
Hospitals are required to treat regardless of insurance approval. They are the ones who actually save lives and end up paying the difference when patients cannot pay and insurance fails. If you show up at the ER, your treatment is not being “delayed”or “denied” due to insurance tiffs
You are angry at your INSURANCE for not covering your 65k 3 day stay, not the hospital
@@brynngage742but hospital charge is way too high.
@@chrislotuslakeyeah bc “for profit” healthcare companies exist (they shouldn’t). It’s also a result of insurance systems and national program mandates

bullshit. the guy is a murderer.
Your bro did more for American health care than anyone. We are at the end of a rope here. So, now the rest of us have to take it the rest of the way. Thank you for telling what a truly good guy he is.
Question is how can a Micdonald's employee recognize him within a couple mintutes and his friends knowing him for years can't ?
Obviously because they hadn't seen or interacted with him in recent times. The photos were all recent.
Because the McDonalds employee wanted that reward lol!
It's been 8 years since they were in high school and about 4 years since they possibly had been around each other. The McDonald's employee saw a picture of him that was 6 days old. You do realize that people change with the passage of time, right?
The police knew for sure very soon his identity, but didn't release it out of tactical investigation reasons
they didn't want to get involved. His eyebrows gave him away.
The media makes me sick. Tracking his former classmates down for ratings is just 🤮
And the classmate agreed to speak to the media, what’s the problem? 🤷🏾♂️
well… of course is good to know about the past of this young killer!!!hello!
How? You sound sick.
Exactly! Could you imagine If they pushed this hard with the Hunter Biden story. Real journalism is dead.
It's disgusting! Everyone wants their seconds of fame. Justice for Luigi👊
I hope the jury is ready to work!
Justice for Luigi!
Luigi is a hero, truly. I wish more people were like him
I glad I went to very big high school, no one remembers no one.... 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The public response is 10 times more interesting than the actual crime.
We all love you 💖🩷💙
If he was that rich & went to a $40K a year high school. Surprised he was affected by the insurance industry that much. (compared to the majority of the population)
He is a psychopath who wanted to kill people.
I think his parents were rich... doesn't necessarily mean he was😅
He's batman, he just care
Every single american - rich or not - is victimized by the insurance industry,, just because rich people can pay out of pocket does not make it right to get denied for coverage
From what I’ve heard the insurance company denied cancer meds for someone and that ads up fast
He was a normal guy.. without money and health insurance troubles ..
Million of people thought of something like that.. he just did it
I like that: "I had no hindrance that it was him..."
HAHA I thought the same thing. Not so smart of a school after all??
Glad I’m not the only one that caught that
I'm glad I'm not the only one that caught that! He likes to use big words so people think he's smart too!😂
I noticed that. But I think it’s hard to think on the spot and in the moment when you’re on camera. Even if consciously you don’t think it’s a big deal you’ll be nervous if it’s not something you’ve ever done before
'Inkling"?
He used the word hindrance at the most random time
😂 noticed that
You beat me to it lol
He used the word hindrance as though it meant clue or inkling.
And incorrectly
I think he had the words 'hint' & appearance or indication, mixed in his head at once.
Yall remember “Innocent until proven guilty”
Our lives have become a living hell. Fighting on the phone DAILY with our Healthcare providers while dealing with crippling pain, stress, work and illness. THIS IS WHAT OUR LIVES HAVE BECOME. This is our American nightmare.
Luigi's got my sympathy, he didn't deserve pushed to do something like this , my prayers to the Mangione family .
Dumb
People have free will. He wasn’t pushed to kill anyone. Acting like murder is a normal response is WILD. People really seem to have lost their minds about this issue.
This Luigi guy just might have saved many lives that are on the corrupt healthcare system, it's sad one had to die to prove a point but that one life might save many more down the road.
You really think some lunatic murdering someone is going to change the healthcare system? Yall put all of your faith in criminals.

Hasn't seen him in 8 yrs. But he knows him very well.
He knew him well in high school. So what? what a ridiculous comment.
Respect for not turning him in
Luigi Mangione is a hero
Luigi is NOT a hero. You don't murder someone in cold blood.Even if this CEO was employed by United Healthcare..you just don't MURDER someone. You have a twisted and sad sense of ereality. What if thius nman was your father?Stop it!
He ruined his life now..not a hero
Twisted. He is NOT a hero!
I would call him that, if it wasn’t political. Terrorists aren’t heroes.
Luigi is not a hero at all.
Hes a hero. What a privilege to have met him
He did so well except for ‘hindrance’ and ‘have a negative perception on them’
I agree…he’s praying for the college? So that ppl won’t have a negative perception of it? He sounded pretty good until that part…the families need prayers, the schools don’t
Oh, you meant grammar wise lol..yeah agree with that too
Kamala Harris was a Harvard graduate and she was barely coherent. I can recall several people with an expensive education that talk like they've mever read a book.

He has not been charged with a federal crime.
Yeah imagine a billionaire corporate puppet pardoning the assassin of a corporate head... Keep dreaming bro.
@@Cosmopavone He wouldn't deserve the pardon anyway. There is no pardoning people who attack the fabric of our society. We are a nation of laws and rights. The UHC CEO had a right to not be murdered and Luigi Mangione took that from him. If the UHC CEO was guilty of something, then likewise, he had a right to a fair trial and due process. Period.
Luigi Mangione spat in the face of our society by murdering that man. He deserves life in prison until the day he dies. You don't get pardons for political motivated, malicious and planned out assassinations. Absolutely not.
@@wowomah6194 They, the ceos and politicians, have already attacked the fabric of our society. You must be naive to think anyone with money and corrupt ties will ever have a fair trial. What part is a fair trial when we have seen it time and time again, these people have been getting away with "murder" for years and have been calculated and malicious. Luigi gave them a "fair" trial in a world where due process has failed and restoring the damage fabric of our society. The UHC CEO got his right to live taken away when he started killing millions. The CEO took many people's lives from them. The UHC CEO and all like him spat in the face of our society AND humanity by murdering millions and 10x more for their heinous crimes.
