Casting Cherami Leigh as A2 was an interesting choice. Prior to this role, Cherami’s characters are best described as cute, maybe a little ditzy, and typically sweet. A2 fits *none* of those words. Yet, like Kira Buckland, it somehow worked and she did excellent. This gig, plus Persona 5 and Shadows of Valencia were what pretty much pulled Cherami out of being pigeonholed.
I always preferred the Enligsh A2 over the Japanese A2 because of Leigh's performance. Gave A2 a certain sassiness that fits the character perfectly, espeically since she's essentially a reincarnation of Kaine. I'm just now noticing that Leigh also voiced female V, it's no wonder I was immediately drawn to that V
Anyone else find it weird how A2, an android designed to fight and take damage, died pretty much instantly after getting stabbed in the stomach, whereas 9S, a scanner/hacker model android, was still alive for a little bit after getting stabbed in the same place?
9S was enraged A2 kinda went with it, it's not that she died instantly but more so that she stood there, it's clear from her dialogue during the game that she kind of wanted to die.
Well a2 just kinds kept fighting to survive. At this point she was just tired. She didn't even want to stab him. She did it by accident in self defense. Even when she beat 9s, she stayed so she could pass on finally. She was tired.
I was so mad when she cut her hair, it was so beautiful and majestic. I was really hoping to play the game with it and in the cutscenes to, but hey I guess the wig is more than enough I can work with but I just wish I could have seen it the cutscenes tho.

Exactly! I'm sure Ending E is following up Ending C. Besides there being no hole in the body of 9S, we see one of the pods carrying the severed hand of 9S. 9S has both of his hand intact in ending D, but one of his hands cut off in the ending C. No idea about A2's long hair though, maybe it happened just because she is prettier with the longer hair :D

Strangely enough, A2 is possibly my favourite role of Cherami Leigh. She does a good job portraying Lucy from Fairy Tail, Minako/Sailor Venus and Muge from A Whisker Away. Her voice was good for Alina in Magia Record too but not that much. I kinda like her role as A2 more than these roles because there are some instances where her voice specifically her more high-pitched and loud moments kinda don’t fit the roles and localisation of each character. Take Lucy for instance, Cherami Leigh does an amazing job portraying Lucy in Fairy Tail but when it comes to her voice direction when Lucy gets emotional and on the verge of tears. Cherami’s voice direction for those specific moments for Lucy just does not fit unlike Aya Hirano. It’s not bad per say but lacking

Late response, but A2’s goal is to destroy machine lifeforms, so she decided to destroy the forest king after hearing that the ruler of the forest was a machine lifeform. Though A2’s main goal is not the destruction of YoRHa units, she will destroy them if they chase after her. A2 continues to fight due to her oath with her comrades who fought with her during the descent operation, and especially her promise with number 4, who saved her. A2 (narration): I had been disposing of machine lifeforms in the area, and their leader only happened to be there. A2 (narration): The machine looked so small and weak. A2 (narration): But I didn't hesitate to run it through with my sword. A2 (narration): Its cries of death rang from its core to my sword. A2 (narration): This is the enemy. This is the enemy. This is ... the enemy. A2 (narration): I repeated that over and over to myself.
Actually, A2 sacrificed her personal data to move logic virus from 9S to herself (remember that logic virus can't be destroyed, it just can be moved from this android to another one). She just did what she had promised with 2B: take care of 9S (including saving his life as well). This is the reason why she dies, not because she kills herself or suicides or something like people said....
Fun fact: A2's (and 2B's by extension) personality data was made with the memories of a human girl who lived in the countryside with her grandmother.

A2’s goal is to destroy machine lifeforms, so she decided to destroy the forest king after hearing that the ruler of the forest was a machine lifeform. Though A2’s main goal is not the destruction of YoRHa units, she will destroy them if they chase after her. A2 continues to fight due to her oath with her comrades who fought with her during the descent operation, and especially her promise with number 4, who saved her.

Actually, A2 sacrificed her personal data to move logic virus from 9S to herself (remember that logic virus can't be destroyed, it just can be moved from this android to another one). She just did what she had promised with 2B: take care of 9S (including saving his life as well).
This is the reason why she dies, not because she kills herself or suicides or something like people said....
