Probably my longest video yet, it’s 1 hour 30 minutes I can’t believe it! But I had to get the absolute best moments for this video. As many of you probably know by now, Devil May Cry is my second favourite franchise of all time just right behind Sonic The Hedgehog, and Dante as well as Vergil and Nero are my favourite video game characters of all time besides a few Sonic characters. Nothing will ever top Sonic for me, but this franchise is pretty close. What is Devil May Cry? Devil May Cry is an awesome action packed, hack and slash video game franchise made by Capcom (same creators of Street Fighter, Mega Man, Resident Evil etc.) with 6 games in the franchise (1 of the, being a spin-off reboot made by Ninja Theory) a short but great anime series from 2007 (with only about 12 episodes sadly) and a new anime series soon to come on Netflix (made by the same creators of Netflix Castlevania) which I’m super hyped for! Devil May Cry is a rather gothic but at the same time humours and action movie like game about heroes who save the world from demons, the main character of course being Dante a half human half demon hero, who fights with guns and swords. Devil May Cry is all about the awesome action, intriguing boss battles, amazing cutscenes, hilarious humour, cool and badass characters and hardcore rock and metal music. Dante as well as the other characters from this franchise are easily some of my favourite characters in fiction ever. Here are all my favourite Dante moments throughout DMC, from when he was a young adult to a now known legendary demonic hero. From DMC 3 to 1 to 2 to 4 to 5. From 19 year old Dante to 44 year old Dante. The absolute best moments in the series. Dante as well as DMC is now a very popular and loved video game franchise. If you haven’t tried it out please do, it’s great. And here is a long video just so you can understand what the franchise is like. I love this series and it’s characters, everything about it is awesome. DMC 3 and 5 are some of the best video games of all time. 4 and 1 are great too. The reboot and 2 might not be the best but don’t worry about them too much. They have their ups at least, but not the greatest games out there. I hope you enjoyed this very long video I have made, about this beautiful wonderful Capcom video game franchise and it’s amazing main character. Devil May Cry is my favourite thing Capcom has ever made and always will be. It’ll also probably always be my favourite franchise other than Sonic. The cutscenes might be cheesy, but in a good way. Just saying no I didn’t add any clips from the reboot, just main series only. And whilst the anime is canon, I just decided to only do the games, no clips from the anime. Maybe I should’ve, I don’t know. But that could possibly be for another video. Thank you so much for watching!

I like how Dante was so edgy and Dramatic but once he grows older he became less edgy but more wacky, still dramatic though. And we love him for it.

Absolutely! Even 3! 4 looks for a 2008!! Game way too good. I mean it was the beginning of the next console generation and CAPCOP dropped DMC 4 with nearly photorealistic visuals. And it’s even better.. they managed to achieve it all in 60FPS! With this visuals.
Most games with DMC 4 like graphics struggled to maintain 30 FPS on PS3.
In my opinion DMC4 has better looking character models than Last of Us on PS3. And last of us on ps3 is maybe one of the best looking games. And it came out at the end of the console cycle.

Man, Dmc3 is just pure definition 2000's Cool vibes. The edginess, the insane and absurd action scenes that bends the laws of physics, the designs... it's just so perfect, i love it. It brings so much nostalgia of those times.
I remember playing dmc3 and then need for speed underground back to back, good times.
I was born in 2003, but oh my god you’re so right. I grew up watching my dad play and talk about DMC among others, and although my memory of these times are sparse, they bring a nostalgia unlike any other

And honestly, I’m perfectly fine with the graphics of even games like DMC1

I like how Arkham just acts like a cocky little shit as Jester and it pisses Dante the hell off because he's the one who annoys demons around here.
I like how there was so many cutscenes from all the games but only 4 for dmc2

They need to 100% reboot this or use this Dante in a game. This will always be for me the best version of Dante. Dude was young, good looking, funny, powerful and cocky sassy with nice personality.

I agree, it does need to be rebooted, because I like young Dante in DMC3, his attitude is still childish, sassy, arrogant but that's the best version of Dante, but his attitude changed in DMC1 and DMC2 to become calm. In my opinion, this attitude is not suitable because he is more similar to Vergil 😞

I love how Dante will go theough the literal depths of hell and kill demons n shit but not go to a birthday party.

I know DMC1 was the first game so they were still thinking the series through, but I have a perspective on it. Since DMC1 takes place after three, I feel Dante is a little more gloomy here because of what happened in DMC3 with Vergil. In the end DMC3 we saw that Dante cried a little for Vergil. He tried to save him in the end but Vergil chose not to be saved. It looks like that really affected Dante because now he talks about his family with a little more respect than he did in DMC3. Interesting to see.
It definitely did. And it only gets worse after DMC1, since his final fight with Nelo Angelo (Vergil) he believed he killed him. Not to mention how heartbreaking it must’ve been for him to see Vergil being a brainwashed pawn to Mundus.
In the DMC anime, he’s even more cold and sad. Same with DMC2. But he starts to lighten up again in DMC4 after meeting Nero.
Interactions between Dante and Virgil in DMC#5 are some of favorite moments in recent gaming.
Basically every cut scene where Dante was mentioned

I was just going by mainline games so that’s why I didn’t include DmC. But if I did (which I actually really liked, and I not only beat the game but the Vergil’s Downfall DLC too) then I would’ve definitely added some scenes from it haha

They'll make Mary playable and she'll have her own campaign.
And without a shadow of a doubt, when the special edition comes, not only will Vergil be playable, but also Trish, Lucia, Nero and for the first time in the series, Sparda.
And we'll have the ability to choose our own boss battles for the first time.
Playing as Sparda to defeat a boss version of Nero. I'm telling y'all, it just might surpass DMC5 entirely if they pull it off right
And they can also fix that shitty Arkham boss fight. He'll be fighting in two phases. The first where he is this massive demonic blob. The second where he actually takes a much more controlled and concentrated form, looking like Sparda. And then Vergil and Dante fight him in a boss battle which is actually cool . And Arkham fights in a style which is a combination of both Vergil and Dante, mirroring how Sparda was actually supposed to be proficient in both sword styles , and where he would have a demonic energy replica of the Yamato and Rebellion in each arm.

DMC3 is the best game in the series. Sure, DMC5 perfected the gameplay, but DMC3 is just so special. Dante and Vergil are young, discovering father's secrets. Just great. I hope DMC3 will get a remake sooner or later.
EDIT: okay I actually really love DMC4 too. It’s really hard for me. I played both DMC3 and 4 until I unlocked my own Devil Trigger😅.
I really love Nero’s Devil Bringer in 4. And the look of his arm. In my opinion way more visually appealing than his arm in 5. Even we see it just for few minutes in a cutscene.
And the mentor ship between Dante and Nero is just extremely entertaining to watch.
DMC5 Dante is cool, no doubt. But I really don’t like his outfit in 5 that much.

Yeah, it's a hard choice… I like the combat in DmC. It's a bit different but likeable. The story of DmC has some modern elements that I also appreciate. I never hated that game like so many other fans. @@ShadowDante7
@@edwaaard46 me too. I always really liked the Reboot game. It definitely got a lot going for it such as its gameplay, boss battles, music and in terms of any platforming sections, probably has the best in the whole series.
I didn't play any of DmC games (expect Peak of Combat) but I love DmC 4 cutscenes.

Virgil is as cool as his powers in the game🫡🥰 but, Dante is so funny and have so much cheat weapon that u can only love him more than anyone in the game😌. Moreover, Virgil was more a vilain for me😈. Whereas Dante is a good Guy😇(killed every monster and attack 1 or 2 girls but that's nothing lol😆) that even impressed everybody(demons as humans) by doing a lot of weird stuff and still win every battle !🙂↕️🤠

DMC3 is the best out of the classic trilogy hands down. But something about DMC1 just feeds my soul. Being a horror game enthusiast, DMC1’s setting and atmosphere is a classic. This is also my favorite version of Dante. Virgil is still #1 in my eyes 👌🏾

DMC3 is the most memorable, Story, writing, characters, gameplay, it was solid game, DMC5 is the opposite, Mostly because the realism design, and the characters models, Also the writing was terrible, The only thing that i remember in the whole game was the Cerberus part, and probably the only thing that didn't suck in dmc5.
Definitely agreed on DMC3, it’s my favourite DMC game and one of my favourite games of all time. DMC5? I personally disagree. But I respect your opinion.
I actually liked DMC5.
The characters aged and were correctly portrayed as older and the writing in my opinion was great.
The whole thing with Urizen and V being Vergil was beautiful.
Of course it was retconned because Vergil had died in DMC, but still they explaimed that in the novel and comic.
